        The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze 4 groups of different levels of spinal cord lesion on the responses of cardiovascular function indices in maximal exercise and to use this data to rehabilitate the spinal cord injured. The subjects consisted of 32 spinal cord injured, who were health, and had taken a cardiovascular disease. They were engaged in regular exercise more than two times per week far more than a year, and composed of 5 archers, 16 table-tennis players and 11 basketball players, who were the members of the national team. They were warmed up with 50rpm at 1KP for 2 minutes. Thereafter, the work rate was gradually increased by 0.5 KP per 1 minutes until exhausted. For comparison and analysis of cardiovascular function indices, cardiovascular variables such as HR peak, VO_2 peak, VO_2 peak/㎏, Ve peak, VE peak, and O_2 pulse were measured. Cardiovascular variables were measured in maximal exercise by automated respiratory gas analyzer (System 2900). The statistical techniques for data analysis were one-way ANOVA and Discriminant Analysis. The results of this study indicated: 1) The significant differences in HR peak, VO_2 peak, VO_2 peak/㎏, Ve peak, VE peak, O_2 pulse were observed among the 4 groups (cervical lesion, higher thoracic lesion, lower thoracic lesion, and lumbar lesion in maximal exercise (p<0.01). 2) Discriminant Analysis indicated that the hit ratio was 93.75% which was higher than maximum chance criterion 25% and proportional chance criterion 50%. It meant that discriminant ability of the level of spinal cord lesion by cardiovascular variables was obvious.

        측두부에 발생한 피부림프상피양 암종 증례보고

        Introduction: Lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma of the skin (LELCS) is a rare cutaneous tumor of low grade malignancy and microscopically resembles lymphoepitheliomatous malignancies in the nasopharynx, palatine tonsils, salivary glands and uterine cervix. LELCS presents as scarlet-colored firm nodules or plaques on the face, scalp, or shoulder of middle-aged to elderly individuals. Material and Methods: A 72 year-old female had complained a papule like lesion with intermittent pruritis on the left temple for 2 years. But the lesion was changed to scarlet-colored firm nodule with ulceration. The mass was diagnosed as LELCS on the biopsy. And to confirm that the mass is not metastatic lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma from other sites or direct tumor extension from the nasopharynx, selective radiographic and laboratory tests were done carefully. Results: Wide excision was performed with general endotracheal anesthesia. The tumor is composed of island of large epithelial cells surrounded by as dense infiltrate of lymphocytes. Immunohistochemical staining with cytokeratin and epithelial membrane antigen(EMA), the tumor cells were positive reaction for stain. And Epstein-Barr virus genome was not detected by in situ hybridization. So, the tumor was confirmed as LELCS. Conclusion: LELCS was described by Swanson at 1988, but has not been reported in the field of plastic surgery of Korea. We report a case of primary LELCS that occurred in the left temple with clinical characteristics, histologic features and references.

        Migration Behavior of Bead-spring Dumbbell Models under Microchannel Flow from Dissipative Particle Dynamics Simulations

        Dissipative particle dynamics simulations of bead-spring dumbbell models under microchannel flow were performed and the effects of the deformation on their migration behavior were discussed. Dumbbells were found to migrate toward the walls or the channel center depending on the stiffness. Stiff dumbbells migrated toward the walls. In any cases, the dumbbells were found to have a stronger tendency to move toward the channel center in more deformable conditions.

        Effects of Halothane on Dimyristoylphosphatidylcholine Lipid Bilayer Structure: A Molecular Dynamics Simulation Study

        We performed molecular dynamics simulations on dimyristoylphosphatidylcholine lipid bilayer with 50 mol% halothane. The structural properties, electron density profile, segmental order parameter of acyl chains, headgroup orientation distribution, water dipole orientation distribution, have been examined. Overall the effects of the halothane molecules on structural properties of DMPC lipid bilayer were found to be small. The electron density profiles, the segmental order parameter, the headgroup orientation, the water dipole orientation were not affected significantly by the halothane molecules. Pressure tensor calculations shows that the lateral pressure increases at the hydrocarbon tail region and the headgroup region, and decreases at the water-headgroup interfacial region.

        Scarpa씨 근막을 이용한 이차 비성형술

        Purpose: The performance of rhinoplasty on the patient who has already undergone unsatisfactory results or complications after augmentation rhinoplasty is a challenging surgical problem. Because the dead space is remained after removal of the foreign body and the thickness of the skin is not even, the deformity would be more conspicuous if the nose is reconstructed again with hard implant only or autogenous cartilage. In these cases, the autogenous fascia can be used to get a good result. We present our clinical experience of secondary rhinoplasty using Scarpa's fascia of lower abdomen.Methods: Thirty-two patients underwent the procedure from March of 2002 to February of 2007. Nine patients were reconstructed with Scarpa's fascia only, eighteen patients were reconstructed with silicone implant and fascia, and five patients were reconstructed with cartilage and fascia for secondary rhinoplasty. Results: There were no major complications. Most of the patients were satisfied with the results. The deviation of the silicone implant and postoperative hypertrophic scar of the donor site were seen in one case each. Postoperative absorption of fascia were seen in two cases using Scarpa's fascia only.Conclusion: Secondary rhinoplasty using Scarpa's fascia is very useful method which offers a minimized donor site scar, low complication rate, shorter operation time and patient satisfaction and prevents the alopecia caused by the harvest of temporalis fascia.

        운동참가 지체장애인의 자기결정동기와 고독감 및 생활만족도의 구조모형 분석

        This study was to analysis the structural equation modeling of self-determination motivation, loneliness, and life satisfaction in individuals with orthopedic impairments participating in exercise. Subjects for this study were adults more than twenty-year old living in S city, South Korea. The sample number was 233. The questionnaire concerning self-determination motivation was developed by Kim, Young-Mi(2000), loneliness was developed by Won Hyeong-Joong(1994), and life satisfaction was developed by Choi Jae-Seong. Chronbach's a values was .8652, .8614, .7806 respectively. Correlation and covariance structure analysis produced the following results. First, the initially deviced structural equation modeling is not fitted the experience data through the base of overall fit measure. Second, a newly modified model that removes understanding of extrinsic motivation, introjected motivation, cutting of social relationships, frustration, and life satisfaction of future as measured variables is well fitted into the experience data. Third, the primary latent variables affecting self-determination motivation, loneliness, and life satisfaction are satisfaction of intrinsic motivation, identified motivation, loss of social role, alienation, life satisfaction are satisfaction of intrinsic motivation, identified motivation, loss of social role, alienation, life satisfaction of past, and life satisfaction of present. The results suggested self-determination motivation in conjunction with loneliness had direct and indirect effects on life satisfaction.

        통합체육수업이 장애대학생과 일반대학생의 태도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of inclusive physical education lessons on attitudes of college students with and without disabilities. Subjects for this study were college students with and without disabilities participating in inclusive physical education lessons in H college which was built for inclusion education. The samples included 197 college students (students with disabilities = 87, students without disabilities = 110). The questionnaire concerning attitudes toward inclusive physical education was developed by Oh Kwang-Jin (2001b) which consisted of 6 factors, 26-item, 5 of socio-demographics variables, and 6 of background variables. Independent t-test, Paired t-test, and One-way ANOVA were used for data analyses, and the reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's a value. Cronbach's a value was .88. The results were as follows: First, there was no significant difference in attitude toward inclusive physical education between college students with and without disabilities at pre (after 3-week) and post (after 15-week) test points, however there was a significant difference in attitude toward inclusive physical education within each college students with and without disabilities. Second, first and second semester college students didn't have significant difference in attitude toward inclusive physical education. Third, previous experiences in inclusive education lessons had significant difference on attitudes toward inclusive physical education. Four, previous experiences in inclusive physical education lessons had significant difference on attitudes toward inclusive physical education. Fifth, understanding of disability traits made a significant difference in attitudes toward inclusive physical education. These results implied attitudes toward inclusive physical education of college students with and without disabilities will be changed more positively, if they participated in inclusive physical education lessons systematically during 12 weeks.

        Al-8wt.%Fe 분말의 기계적 합금화 거동과 열적안정성에 미치는 Ce의 영향

        The effects of Ce on the mechanical alloying behavior and the thermal stability of Al-8wt.%Fe were investigated. The steady states of Al-8wt.%Fe and Al-8wt.%Fe-4wt.%Ce powders with 1.5 wt.% stearic acid as a process control agent were reached after mechanical alloying for 1000 minuties and 1300 minuties respectively at the conditions of the impeller revolving velocity of 300 rpm and the ball to powder input ratio of 50 : 1. The hardness of Al-8wt.%Fe specimen hot extruded and isothermally aged at various temperatures for up to 1000 hours decreased rapidly at 50$0^{\circ}C$ and its high temperature ultimate tensile strength began to decrease at 40$0^{\circ}C$ with increasing aging time. The decrease in the hardness and ultimate tensile strength of the specimen were reduced substantially by addition of Ce. It was thought to be due to the formation of thermally stable A14Ce and All3Fe3Ce intermetallic compounds.

        일대일로와 새만금 개발 - AIIB등 중국 주도 신금융질서와 한중 FTA를 기초로 -

        중국의 부상은 저성장에 머무는 한국 경제에 위협이 될 수 있지만 성장동력으로 다가오기 도 한다. 중국의 부상은 한국의 통제 범위 밖의 일이지만 그 것을 기회로 만드는 건 한국의 전략에 달려있다. 이를 위해선 한국에 영향을 끼치는 중국 부상의 흐름을 잘 읽어야한다. 중국 의 일대일로(一帶一路)와 아시아인프라투자은행(AIIB)설립 주도 그리고 한중 자유무역협정 (FTA)체결은 한중 경제교류에 큰 영향을 끼치는 주요 변화다. 이들 3가지 변화에서 중국의 부상을 한국의 성장동력으로 활용할 수 있는 접점을 찾는 게 필요하다. 중국이 해외에 조성하 는 산업단지와 위안화 국제화에서 그 접점을 찾았다. 한중FTA의 한국 내 유일한 한중산업단 지로 지정된 새만금 개발과 이들 접점을 연계하는 국가차원이 전략 수립이 중요하다. 새만금 을 중국의 해외 첨단산업단지로 키우고, 위안화 금융상품을 통해 자금을 조달하는 시스템을 새만금에 갖출 필요가 있다. The rise of China could be threat to Korea economy which growth rate has been low, but it also could be new developing engine of Korea economy. The rise of China is the one which Korea could not control. China’s rise could become Korea’s opportunity, which depends on Korea’s strategy. For that, we should figure out well trends of China’s rise which have influenced on Korea. China’s One Belt One Road, China’s initiative of AIIB development, Korea-China FTA are the new changes which could give big influence on Korea-China economic interchanges. Among these three changes, we need to find out a point of contact which could be use for the purpose of using China’s rise as Korea’s growth engine. China’s overseas industrial park and renminbi internationalization could be the point of contact. According to the Korea-China FTA and Korean government, Saemangeum has been designated as the only one Korea-China industrial park in Korea. Therefore it is important for us to develop national strategy which link between the development of Saemangeum and these points of contact. This article suggest that Korea and China develop Saemangeum as China’s high tech industrial park model and new financial system should be equipped to offer renminbi as capital using for the development of Saemangeum.

        미시영역에서 중간역역까지 적용 가능한 범용 분자 시뮬레이션 시스템의 개발

        본 논문에서는 개발된 범용 분자 시뮬레이션 시스템에 대해 기술하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 개발된 분자 시뮬레이션 시스템의 가장 큰 장점은 다른 무엇보다도 Langevin dynamics simulation이나 dissipative particle dynamics simulation 기법을 도입하여 all-atom 모델뿐만 아니라 coarse-grain 모델까지도 다룰 수 있도록 설계하였고 따라서 미시영역은 물론 중간영역에서 일어나는 현상까지도 시뮬레이션할 수 있도록 설계하였다는 점이다. 이를 통해 하나의 통합된 분자 시뮬레이션 시스템으로 생체막 내에서 마취제의 분포, 단백질 접힘 현상, 마이크로 채널 내에서 생체고분자의 구조와 유동 특성 등과 같이 미시영역에서부터 중간영역에 이르는 다양한 현상을 연구할 수 있게 되었다. 개발된 시스템을 이용하면 molecular dynamics simulation에 기반한 분자 시뮬레이션 시스템으로는 불가능한 여러 중요한 바이오/나노 시스템을 시뮬레이션할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 마지막으로 벤치마크 결과를 통해 개발된 분자 시뮬레이션 시스템의 성능을 측정하였고 성능 최적화를 위한 병목지점을 조사하였다. In this paper, a general purpose molecular simulation system, which has been developed by the author, are described. One of the most advantageous features is that the molecular simulation system can handle a coarse-grained model as well as an all-atom model. Therefore, we can simulate mesoscopic phenomena as well as microscopic phenomea with the help of Langevin dynamics simulation and dissipative particle dynamics simulation techniques. Thus we could study anesthesia, protein folding, biopolymer flow in microchannel with single framework, which spans from microscopic to mesoscopic scales. We expect that we can also simulate many other bio/nano systems of technological importance which are not feasible by means of molecular dynamics simulation technique. Finally, performance data are shown and a bottleneck is identified for future optimization.
