Currently, law and regulations on air environment improvement are being strengthened. Although used-vehicle emission inspections are being strengthened, emission inspections of construction machinery are notbeing implemented. Among construction machinery, dump trucks, concrete mixer trucks, and concrete pump trucks have similar structures to automobiles, so it is possible to reinforce exhaust gas inspection, In this study, we test whether load tests are possible for dump trucks, concrete mixer trucks, and concrete pump trucks, and then we study maintenance plans. As a result, it it possible to apply the inspection of construction machinery to the lud-down3 mode, which is being implemented in korea, and to reduce smoke by changing engine oil.

Korea regulates the emissions of new-vehicles and used-vehicles through the clean air conservation act. Used-vehicles are subject to period technical inspection and comprehensive technical inspection. It is inspection method is divided into vehicle registration dates. And inspection methods and standards are different. Period technical inspection apply to the snap-acceleration mode. Comprehensive technical inspection apply to KD-147 mode, Lug-down3 mode and snap-acceleration mode. Snap-acceleration mode is the mode in which the engine reaches its maximum speed in idling and then returns the idling. The time is less than four seconds. Although rapid acceleration is made within 4 seconds, emissions of exhaust gas an error rate of up to 40 percent. This study compared the level of exhaust emissions according th the time of reaching engine RPM. The vehicle used in the experiment is a diesel vehicle with no DPF installed. As a result, the shorter the time to reach the target engine RPM, the higher the emission level of smoke. By utilizing the research results, the error rate of the smoke test results of the used-vehicles can be minimized, and it will be used the develop methods and inspection modes for nitrogen oxides.
