The wireless power transfer system using electromagnetic resonance is consists of PFC circuit, LLC resonant converter, high frequency DC-AC inverter and ECR devices for wirelessly transmitting the power. The output voltage of the module with free input voltage is 1㎒, 230Vp-p. As a experimental result, the wireless power transmission is confirmed and it is varified the validity of the experiment.

The ac power conversion inverter provides the ac power to ECR device for wireless power transfer. In this paper, the operating efficiency of the class-Φ2 resonant inverter has been studied through by experiment for optimal design. Its switching frequency is 1MH and the input voltage is 96V which is the output voltage of LLC resonant converter. And its output voltage is 230Vp-p. The efficiency is measured up to 84%.

To transfer the power wirelessly, the inverter converted DC power to a high frequency ㎒-grade AC power. And the ECR devices for wirelessly transmitting the power are required. In this paper, the spiral-type ECR device and the high frequency inverter were designed. The operating frequency is approximately 1.2㎒. In addition, using a vector network analyzer, the 1.2㎒ operating characteristics of the ECR device for wireless power transfer module are analyzed. It is performed and reviewed on validity of wireless power transfer technologies through experiments.
