한,일 음차(飮茶) 공간空間)의 조형특징과 내재의미 비교

차(茶)는 동양 문화에서 오랜 역사와 전통을 갖고 있다. 시대가 발전함에 따라 차와 관련된 독특한 문화가 동양 여러 나라에서 꽃을 피웠고, 문화 유형으로서의 차례(茶禮)나 차회(茶會)뿐만 아니라 문학과 예술 영역에서도 차시(茶詩)와 아집도(雅集圖)를 통하여 차문화(茶文化)의 영향을 엿볼 수 있다. 건축은 어느 한 지역의 문화와 인간 정신의 외재적인 표현이다. 따라서 문화의 형성에 따라 반드시 일정한 문화적 공간이 형성된다. 일본에서 차문화의 산물로서 ‘다정(茶庭)’라는 음차 공간(飮茶空間)이 명확하게 존재하다는 것은 사실이다. 오늘 날에도 일본에는 다정의 명소가 많이 남아있다. 뿐만 아니라 일본에서 다정에 대한 연구도 활발하게 진행되고 있으며 많은 연구 성과를 거두었다. 한반도에서 차문화의 기원이 오래되었다. 차문화는 한국 전통 문화의 일환이라고 할 수도 있다. 하지만 이처럼 중요한 문화가 인간의 지역성과 문화성을 제대로 체현할 수 있는 건축의 영역에서 보면, 한국에서는 일본의 다정같은 건축 유형은 말할 것도 없고, 음차 공간과 관련된 문헌 기록조차 찾기 힘든 편이다. 본 논문은 한국과 일본 차문화의 성격, 한 걸음 더 나아가 한·일 양국의 문화와 민족적인 성격을 더 깊이 이해하기 위하여 한국과 일본의 음차 공간으로서의 건축 유형을 탐구해 보고자 한다. 또한 중국의 영향과 불교의 전래 등 역사적 배경 아래 한국과 일본 음차 공간의 조형적 특징과 미적 성향의 공통점과 차이점을 밝히는 것도 본 연구의 목적이다. Tea culture space is not only a kind of reflection of residential culture, but also can be used to generally describe the culture lives and value systems of a society. In Japan, the research on tea garden is relatively adequate. But there are not much researches about tea drinking space in Korea. The main reason for which is that the concept of tea drinking space was not explicit in Korea. And there is a big difference between the space for tea drinking in Korea and that in Japan. The main goal of this paper is to discover this difference and to analyze the causes of it. Although there are many studies about tea culture of Japan and Korea, or Japanese tea garden, or traditional Korean garden. I have not found a comparative study on tea culture space of Korea and Japan which is got by studying tea culture of the two countries, and thus to analyze the differences of national characters between Korea and Japan by this comparative study. In addition, the researches on Japanese culture and Korean culture almost belong to the category of history, sociology or anthropology. I think it is appropriate to analyze the differences of social spirits and degrees of residential culture between Korea and Japan by studying the specific garden architectures.
