The rotor flux observer is proposed for an induction motor controlled by the direct field oriented control technique. The stator voltage vector is predicted as an output vector and is compared with the measured stator voltage vetor. The stator voltage error is integrated and fed back to the rotor flux observer. With the proposed observer, the fast error convergence rate can be obtained and the estimation error due to the parameter variations can be reduced. Thus, the torque response can be largely improved.

A method for detecting the three-phase currents of a voltage-fed pulsewidth modulated(PWM) inverter is proposed by utilizing one current sensor placed on the dc-link. This method is simple and provides the small detection error.

전압원 인버터의 전류제어를 위한 새로운 방식의 예측형 전류제어기가 제안되고, 이를 유도 전동기의 자속기준제어를 위한 회전자자속 추정기 설계에 이용한다. 본 전류제어기로부터 최소화된 전류맥동 및 최소화된 offset 전류를 얻을 수 있으며, 또한 회전자 저항변화에 강인한 자속 추정기로부터 파라메타에 둔감한 자속기준제어를 얻을 수 있다.

This paper presents the generalized and explicit expressions for evaluating the performance of the multi-phase interleaved buck converter (IBC) operating in discontinuous inductor current mode (DICM). The full-order averaged model is derived. The generalized transfer functions of interest are presented and the dynamic characteristics are analyzed. The generalized analysis of converter performance is verified through the experimental and simulation results. 본 논문에서는 불연속 인덕터 전류모드에서의 다상 교호 강압 컨버터의 정상상태 해석 및 소신호 모델을 유도하여 일반화된 식을 제시한다. 컨버터의 제어기 설계를 위해서 필요한 완전한 차수 모델을 통한 소신호 모델의 전달 함수를 유도하고 이를 통해 시스템의 동특성을 분석한다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험 결과를 통하여 이론에서 제시한 특성을 검증한다.

The novel PWM(pulsewidth modulation) strategy of three-phase voltage source inverter in the overmodulation range is proposed. Generally, the space vector PWM strategy in the overmodulation range is widely utilized due to its simple and effective digital implementation and increased voltage transfer ratio. A unique algorithm manages the transition form the onset of overmodulation to six-step operation. This proposed technique maximizes the utilization of the dc-link voltage and maintain the voltage linearity between the reference and output voltages, and it decreases the necessary memory quantity for the look-up table of the angle.

The windup phenomenon appears and results in the performance degradation when the PI controller output is<br/> saturated A new anti-windup PI controller is proposed to improve the control performance of the variable~speed motor drives and it is experimentally applied to the speed control of a vector-controlled induction motor driven by a<br/> pulse width modulated(PWM) voltage source inverter (YSI). The integral state is separately controlled corresponding to whether the PI controller output is<br/> saturated or not. The experimental results show that the speed response has the much improved performances such as small overshoot and fast settling time over the conventional anti-windup technique. Although the operating speed command is changed, the similar control performance can be obtained by using the PI gains selected in the linear region
