The effects of ultrasound and ozone in the treatment of sewage sludge were investigated. Sewage sludge from the domestic wastewater treatment plant was partially oxidized or disintegrated by ozone and ultrasound. From the analysis of SCOD, SBOD, T-N and T-P of treated sludge, we gained as following results. In the case of ultrsonic treatment of waste sludge, the concentration of released organic materials(SCOD, SBOD) were enhanced about 3.3 times and 3.1 times respectively compared with the case of ozone treatment. And the concentration of T-N and T-P of treated sludge by ultrasound were 3.5 times much than that of ozone treatment.

생물학적 처리공정에서 부산물로 발생되는 하수슬러지는 1,574천 톤으로 생슬러지와 잉여슬러지량은 유입하수량의 약 1% 정도가 발생하며, 고형물량의 40~90%가 유기물로 구성되어 있다. 발생슬러지의 대부분은 단순매립 처분되고 있는데 매립지의 부족으로 해양매립까지 시도하고 있으나, 각종 규제의 강화에 의하여 처리에 많은 문제점을 안고 있다. 또한, 높은 함수율로 인해 수송·운반상에서 어려움이 많으며, 유기물의 분해에 의해 악취, 침출수, 해충 등의 2차 환경오염을 야기시키고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 소각처리법, 퇴비화 등을 재활용화 방안 등이 검토되고 있으며, 최근에는 용융화 및 소결에 의한 건축자재로서의 재자원화 연구가 진행되고 있으나 아직까지 국내에서 발생되는 하수 슬러지의 특성이 구체적으로 정립되어 있지 않아 상당한 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 초음파와 오존 처리에 의한 하수 슬러지의 성분변화를 관찰함으로써 슬러지 처리 방안에 대한 기초 자료를 얻고자 하였다. 그 결과 초음파에 의해 처리된 슬러지의 유기물질 용출농도는 오존처리의 경우보다 3.3배 높았으며, 총질소와 총인의 농도도 약 3.5배 높게 나타났다. 이는 초음파 처리가 오존처리에 비해 슬러지내의 용해성 유기물 용출에 더 효과적인 처리방법임을 확인할 수 있었다.

With the improvement of industrial society, the high quality electrical energy, simplification of operation and maintenance, ensuring reliability and safety are being required. This paper reviews a basic data of the surface discharge characteristics for teflon resin in not only pure N2, N2:O2 mixture gas and Dry-Air as being focused on environmentally friendly insulating Gas also SF6. An experimental set-up of electrodes are utilized as a type of knife-to-knife. With the changing distance of electrodes and pressure, we can find surface discharge voltages and surface dielectric strengths respectively. Surface discharge Voltages of N2:O2=80:20 mixture gas are more higher than the N2:O2 Mixture gases. we verify replaceability of Imitation-Air according to gas pressure and gap as well as gas pressure to replace 1[atm] SF6 gas when eco-friendly Imitation-Air is applied to insulation design of various HV power equipment instead of SF6 gas. As a result, it is verified that the gas pressure of Imitation-Air which correspond to the breakdown voltage of SF6 1[atm] is about 3[atm] at distribution class.

Laminar flow within large vessels or organs can cause artifact that may simulate thrombus during computed tomographic study. The degree of venous enhancement depends on the size of blood pool and cardiac output in relation to the time of scanning. When venous structures are scanned too fast after injection of contrast material, poor mixing of enhanced and unenhanced blood creates flow artifact that gives an appearance of deep venous thrombosis. As compared with dynamic computed tomography (CT), because of a shorter acquisition time of spiral CT, vascular and organ enhancement on spiral CT scan are more dependent on factor that affect delivery of contrast material into the blood stream. Differentiation from true thrombus can be made by use of delayed scan as well as increased density and finding of relatively poor margination of artifact. In addition, both angiography and echocardiography could complement CT to assure that false-positive results are minimized. We experienced a case of artifact mistaken for intracardiac mass on spiral CT, but it was not noted on echocardiography. 저자들은 컴퓨터 단층촬영상 우심방과 상대정맥내 종양으로 진단되었으나 심초음파상 이러한 병변이 발견되지 않은 수축성 심낭염 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.
