In carbon-filled natural rubber, engineering stress-strain relations for planar shear test data can be predicted from a simple tension data. the principal stress is newly derived to predict the data for planar shear test, and Poisson's ratio derived from constant-volume is a function of principal stretches. A predicted planar shear data is approached to a experimental data to a strain 100%. In finite element analysis for a rubber mount, the strain results using predicted data with simple tension data is almost agree to the values using experimental planar shear data. This paper deals with the Filtered-X Least Mean Square algorithm for a active vibration control in vehicle vibration reduction. The real-time implementation of FxLMS algorithm is discussed in detail. Before applying the proposed FxLMS algorithm to automobile, the performance of the ALA and FxLMS algorithm is tested using cantilever beam and accelerometer. The disadvantage of the FxLMS algorithm is that the plant model should be incorporated into the computation path. In this paper, the system identification was carried out based on the measurement result. The control algorithm is then realized using dSpace DS1104 controller board. Experimental results shown that the proposed control algorithm can reduce vibration level in a short period of time.
