        The main purpose of this study is to develop a new thermal model based on the analysis of heat energy characteristics in vehicle cabin. Since the cabin thermal energy characteristics is easily changed according to changes in external and internal energy, the existing thermal model has implemented a model configuration based on 3D CFD to reflect these characteristics. However, due to the limitations of many time/material resources, there have been many difficulties in application to the vehicle development stage, and there has been a problem in that it is difficult to respond to virtual vehicle development in the future. In order to overcome the limitations of these existing methods, a 1D based system model that can be used easily and can optimize the thermal management, and A/C system reflecting detailed thermal energy response characteristic was developed. Therefore, the results of this study can be used to predict the dynamic cabin heat load due to the change of shape vehicle cabin during EV development and to develop an optimal A/C(HVAC) system heat coverage through HILS equipment in the future.
