Adaptive Keyframe and ROI selection for Real-time Video Stabilization

Video stabilization is an important image enhancement widely used in surveillance system in order to improve recognition performance. Most previous methods calculate inter-frame homography to estimate global motion. These methods are relatively slow and suffer from significant depth variations or multiple moving object. In this paper, we propose a fast and practical approach for video stabilization that selects the most reliable key frame as a reference frame to a current frame. We use optical flow to estimate global motion within an adaptively selected region of interest in static camera environment. Optimal global motion is found by probabilistic voting in the space of optical flow. Experiments show that our method can perform real-time video stabilization validated by stabilized images and remarkable reduction of mean color difference between stabilized frames.

Purpose : This study examined the symptoms and body flexibility according to physical change of the female college students who like to wear skinny jeans. Methods : This study targeted 39 female college students and conducted a questionnaire survey on physical change and disease, and measured waist flexibility and hip joint working range. Result : The study subjects showed much fatigue, subjective symptoms, and the highest varicose veins. As for comparison before and after waist flexibility measurement, the mean value of the waist flexibility was 17.97 before the experiment, and the mean value after the experiment was 17.63. Therefore there was a significant difference (P<.5). Conclusion : As a result of this study, the female college students revealed fatigue, varicose veins, and numbness, as well as waist flexibility and hip joint limitations even with a little walk.

Alignment of the hip joint and pelvis affects it's weight-bearing capabilities as well as the motion available at the joints. The normal hip joint is well designed to withstand the forces that act through and around it, assisted by the trabecular systems, cartilagious, muscles, and ligaments. Alterations in the direction or magnitude of forces action around the injury and degenerative changes. The integration of motion of the pelvis with motion of the vertebral column not only increases the ROM available to the total column but also reduces the amount of flexibility required of the lumbar region. In any instance in which there is normal or abnormal pelvic motion during weight bearing and the head must remain upright, compensatory motions of the lumber spine will occur if available. The motions that occur at the hip, pelvis, and lumbar spine during forward trunk bending with the motions that occur during anterior and posterior tilting of the pelvis in the erect standing postion.

본 논문에서는 대학생들을 대상으로 주류광고의 인지 성향에 관하여 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는지 진단하고, 기능적인 측면에서 세부적인 효과요인들을 Q방법론으로 짚어봄으로써 향후 주류광고의 인지 성향에 관하여 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 위에서 제기된 사항들의 해답을 얻기 위하여 주관성연구 분석방법을 활용하며, 이에 따른 연구문제는 첫째, 주류광고의 인지 성향에 관한 대학생들의 수용 유형은 어떠한가? 둘째, 이들 각 유형들 간의 동질적이며 이질적인 특성과 그 함의는 무엇인가? 등이다. 이 논문에서는 주류광고의 인지 성향에 관하여 대학생들의 주관적 성향을 살펴보기 위해서 Q방법론을 이용하였다. 분석결과, 총 3가지의 유형, 즉, 제 1유형[(N=19) : 위험성 공지 및 건강 유의형(Dangerousness Notice & Health Attention Type)], 제 2유형[(N=8) : 공감대형(Consensus Type)], 제 3유형[(N=11) : 건강 유의 및 교육형(Health Attention & Education Type)] 등으로 분류되었다. 결과적으로, 앞으로 계량적인 실증적 연구와 관련 해당 전문가들의 종합적 연구 방안과 해결책이 추가되어 진다면, 주류광고의 인지 성향에 관한 대학생들의 인지를 통하여 관련 정책방향에 보다 심도 있는 연구결과가 제시될 수 있을 것이다. 특히, 이러한 연구의 제한점과 보완내용이 정리되어 차후 연구가 지속적으로 진행되어지기를 기대해 본다. This study was researched by practical method in a subjectivity study accessible in-depth, in sloughing off old habit of functional quantity analysis about reception type on cognitive propensity of alcoholic-drinks advertising. The perception pattern come out in this study were divided into three types in Q-methodology. The result is as follows ; it is that divided ‘1[(N=19) : Dangerousness Notice & Health Attention Type], 2[(N=8) : Consensus Type], 3[(N=11) : Health Attention & Education Type]’. Like this, it found that is very different type all over. Hereafter, this study is to ascertain acceptance behavior about Reception Type on cognitive propensity of alcoholic-drinks advertising ; to offer a developmental suggestion about it.

Flow distributors are often being employed to control distribution of the flow rate to each channel for better performance of the multi-channel evaporators. The pressure drop between the inlet and the outlet of the distributors of typical geometry was estimated through a CFD analysis along with the confirmation experiments. The distributor consists of a sudden contraction, orifice and a sudden enlargement followed by parallel capillaries positioned axisymmetrically. The diameter and thickness of the orifice mostly governs the pressure drop. Loss coefficient is mostly determined by distribution ratio rather than by the flow rate. As the distribution ratio is increased, the pressure-drop coefficient between the mixing chamber and the capillary inlet substantially increases while that through the orifice was almost unaffected.

In the present work, a numerical code for analyzing density wave instability that cause serious fatigue and operational problem of steam generators has been developed. With a rigorous derivation, mass, energy, and momentum conservation equations of two-phase flow were discretized and Laplace-transformed into a set of complex simultaneous equations to give a characteristic function of closed loop transfer function of a steam generator. Instability is then determined by Nyquist stability criterion. The code is capable of calculating both the homogeneous and the drift flux model of two-phase flow considering the perturbations of boiling start point, water level, and saturated enthalpy. Thom’s model and Beattie’s model were used for calculating twophase flow frictional pressure drop and local loss, respectively. Steady state flow rate and the regime of flow instability according to various operating variables such as the operating pressure, water level, feedwater enthalpy were obtained.

A numerical platform to simulate flow and heat transfer of Pulsating Heat Pipes (PHPs) was composed. Flow inside PHP was assumed to be 1-D plug flow. Equations of mass, momentum, and energy were solved regarding control volumes inside liquid slugs, vapor plugs and surrounding liquid films. Energy equation of tube wall also was took into account. Compressibility of vapor, phase change at the interphase, and initial film thickness at the advancing meniscus were considered. Liquid slugs were allowed to merge and split rejecting the dependency on their initial distribution. The results showed good agreements with experimental result for both vertical and horizontal PHP at normal heat load condition. In the case of vertical PHP, a gradual transition from oscillating mode to circulating mode appeared as the applied heat flux increases. In the horizontal case, there appeared a minimum number of turns required for a PHP to operate, and the thermal performance did not change beyond that number. Meanwhile, the model failed to predict dryout, indicating a need for a special treatment for dryout phenomena of PHP.
