The effect of growth inhibitors on colonial growth of cellulolytic fungus, genus Trichoderma, was investigated to develop a method for the effective screening of various auxotrophs and hypercellulolytic strains. As the results, it was revealed that non-ionic detergents such as Sodium deoxycholate and Triton X-100 were the better ones as a growth inhibitor than Oxgall which has been used to restrict the colony size in genus Trichoderma. Each individual colony remained distinct on minimal plate supplemented with 0.05% Triton X-100 for as long as two or more weeks. The screening of 150 to 200 colonies simultaneous on a single plate was possible in the presence of Triton X-100. The effect of Triton X-100 on simultaneous screening was higher than that of Oxgall by a factor of two.

Fine structure of dormant and swollen conidiospore from Trichoderma koningii and the mechanism of protoplasting from the conidiospore were studied by scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The cell wall of dormant conidiospore was two-layered structure which consisted of electron dense outer layer and electron transparent inner layer. After 8.5 hrs incubation. the conidiospore was swollen and the outer layer of cell wall shown unequal thickness and partial breakage. Protoplast was released through the pore which has been formed by the breakage of outer layer and dissolution of newly synthesized cell wall for germ-tube formation. Swollen conidiospore and protoplast in releasing process contained various cell organelles and vacuoles with electron dense materials. The protoplast contained looser cytoplasm and had no cell wall materials outside of plasmamembrane.
신경회로망을 사용한 물고기 로봇의 빠른 방향 전환 궤적 설계

본 연구에서는 유체 속에서의 로봇의 방향전환 메커니즘의 성능을 개선하고 최적화하기 위하여 물 속 자연환경에 최적화되어 있는 물고기의 CST(CST:C-shape sharp turn) 패턴을 모방하여 물고기 로봇의 꼬리 관절 궤적을 신경회로망(neural network)을 사용하여 제안하였다. 물고기의 CST 패턴을 모방하기 위해 CST 패턴을 순차적으로 기록한 정보를 수치적으로 변환하여 좌표 데이터를 생성하고 함수화하였다. 함수화된 모션 함수를 물고기 로봇의 상대 관절각으로 변환하였으나, 구해진 상대 관절 궤적은 잉어의 순차적 기록에 의해 구해진 각도이므로 분해능이 떨어져 실제 물고기 로봇의 제어에 적용하기 어렵다. 그러므로 상대 관절 궤적을 일반화 기능이 뛰어난 신경회로망을 사용하여 보간하고 물고기 로봇에 적용하였다. 모의실험을 통하여 신경회로망을 이용한 상대 관절 궤적 함수가 고차의 다항식 궤적 함수에 비하여 물고기 로봇의 CST 모션에 더 좋은 성능을 나타냄을 확인하였다. In this study, in order to improve and optimize the performance of the turning mechanism for a fish robot in the fluid, we propose the tail joint trajectories using neural networks to mimic the CST(C-shape Sharp Turn) patterns of a real fish which is optimized in the natural environment. In order to mimic the CST patterns of a fish, we convert the sequential recording CST patterns into the coordinate data, and change the numerical coordinate data into a functions. We change the motion functions to the relative joint angles which is adapted to suit robot's shape and data. However, these relative joint trajectories obtained by the sequential recording of the carp have low-precision. It is difficult to apply to the control of a fish robot. Therefore, the relative joint trajectories are interpolated using neural networks with superior generalization ability and applied to the fish robot. we have found that the proposed method using neural networks is superior to ones using high-order polynomial equation through the computer simulations.

The purpose of the study is to provide some alternative devices for analyzing Korean topicalized constructions on the basis of Head-driven Phrase Structure Grammar. The author suggests that the existing theories relevant to the Korean topicalized constructions do not seem to effectively capture the elusive syntactic properties of topicalization. It is also suggested that once the feature [TOPIC+] is intantiated on the Korean topicalized element, the syntactic feature [DEF+] also be instantiated on the topic simultaneously. The study maintains that the Korean topic marking form ``un/nun`` be incorporated within the argument structure list, which is to ensure that both SUBJ and COMPS can be extracted to be a topicalized element. 공용중인 아스팔트 포장의 아스팔트층 동탄성계수와 FWD 역산 탄성계수의 상관관계 분석

PURPOSES: The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between the FWD back-calculated modulus and dynamic modulus of asphalt layers for existing asphalt pavements. METHODS: To evaluate the dynamic modulus of the asphalt mixture in the existing and new asphalt layers, the uniaxial direct tension test was conducted on small asphalt specimens obtained from the existing asphalt-covered pavements. A dynamic modulus master curve was estimated by using the uniaxial direct tension test for each asphalt layer. The falling weight deflectometer (FWD) testing was conducted on the test sections, and the modulus values of pavement layers were back-calculated using the genetic algorithm and the finite element method based back-calculation program. The relationship between measured and back-calculated asphalt layer moduli was examined in this study. The normalized dynamic modulus was adopted to predict the stiffness characteristics of asphalt layers more accurately. RESULTS: From this study, we can conclude that there is no close relationship between dynamic modulus of first layer and back-calculated asphalt modulus. The dynamic moduli of second and third asphalt layers have some relation with asphalt stiffness. Test results also showed that the normalized dynamic modulus of the asphalt mixture is closely related to the FWD back-calculated modulus with 0.73 of R square value. CONCLUSIONS: The back-calculated modulus of asphalt layer can be used as an indicator of the stiffness characteristics of asphalt layers in the asphalt-covered pavements.
위치 우산형 문제에 대한 가중치를 부여한 Mack-Wolfe 검정통계량의 수정에 관한 연구

위치 우산형 문제에서 Mack-Wolfe 검정통계량을 이용한 검정법이 일반적으로 많이 사용된다. 이 검정법은 정점으로 알려지거나 추정되는 표본을 중심으로 두개의 순서통계량을 합한 방법이다. 즉, 정점으로 알려지거나 추정되는 표본에 대한 정보를 이중으로 사용한 방법이며, 검정력을 높이기 위하여 정보를 이중으로 사용하였으나, 그에 따른 분산, 효율 등에서의 복잡성은 간과될 수 없다. 그러므로 이 논문에서는 가중치를 부여한 Mack-Wolfe 검정통계량을 수정하여 정점으로 알려지거나 추정되는 표본에 대한 정보를 한쪽의 순서통계량에만 적용하여 Mack-Wolfe 검정통계량과 여러 가지 성질들을 비교하였다. 그 결과 정점으로 알려지거나 추정된 표본들이 정점을 중심으로 표본들이 많은 쪽에 포함되었을 때, 제안된 가중치를 부여한 수정된 Mack-Wolfe 검정통계량이 Mack-Wolfe 검정통계량보다 효율이 더 좋음을 알 수 있었다.
