The Kangnam district has been one of the most important central district in Seoul with many commercial blocks. However, there are not many easy accessible cultural facilities that could accommodate people's everyday-life. Under this background, the main purpose of this study is to suggest proper program and concepts on the planning of a film museum. in this paper, the program was analyzed by activity, film facility and exhibition based on the Kangnam district. In addition, the concept was defined as the $quot;Specialized Cultural Convenience-store$quot; with the combination of three aspects: character of the central district, cultural space for the people and specialized film-facility. Consequently, the film museum based on this study is expected to have a role in populating the mass-culture with a new function such as film publicity, marketing, experiment place, and wonderland of unconsciousness in the Kangnam district.

This study was carried out to determine the optimal number of ARGO floats in the East Sea in order to maximize their applications. The dominant spatio-temporal scale, size of the domain, and the typical float lifetimes in the East Sea were taken into consideration. The mean spatial de-correlation scale of temperature on isobaric surfaces reaches about 60 km. The minimum necessary number of floats is about 82 on average in order to secure independent ARGO profiles with the de-correlation scale. Considering the float lifetimes, about 27 floats per year should be deployed to maintain the 82 ARGO float array every year. To obtain spatially uniform distribution of ARGO float data, mean residence time and dispersion rate (basin area/residence time) of ARGO floats were evaluated in each basin of the East Sea. A faster (slower) dispersion rate requires more (less) ARGO floats to maintain the spatially uniform number of floats. According to the analysis, it is likely that the optimal ratio of the number of floats for each basin is 1:2:4 corresponding to Ulleung Basin:Yamato Basin:Japan Basin. In order to maintain relatively uniform ARGO observing networks, it is necessary to establish a long-term plan for deployment strategy based on float pathways and the dispersion rate parameters estimated by using currently active ARGO float trajectory data as well as reanalysis data.

The ancestors of Wang Geon(王建) settled in Songak-gun(松嶽郡) area in the late Silla Dynasty and developed as a local power family(豪族). Wang Ryung(王隆), the father of WangGeon, obeyed Gung Ye(弓裔) and WangGeon also appeared on the stage of history. At the time, Wang Ryung’s the sphere of influence did not greatly deviate the whole Songak-gun. After WangRyung started to obey GungYe, WangGeon grew up while receiving the trust of GongYe. The regionally based core of WangGeon at the time of Goryeo foundation was Songak-gun and the surrounding Gaeseong-gun(開 城郡), and Naju(羅州) was also an important regional base. In addition, WangGeon also had some regional foundations throughout the country, including Cheorwon(鐵圓), which is the capital of Taebong(泰封). However, it is hard to say that the power of WangGeon at the time of Goryeo foundation overpowered the power of Gung Ye. The basis of Wang Geon at the time of foundation cannot be determined with maritime powers. Taejo(太祖) moved the capital for political stability shortly after foundation. The reason for transfer of capital to Gaegyeong(開京) was because it was the base of the Wang Geon power and because it was once the capital during the Gung Ye period, the facilities that were created at the time were available for use. Taejo transferred the capital to Songak(松嶽) was not because it was a great location based on the theory of PungSu(風水地理說). The theory of PungSu was emphasized during the process of justifying the status of capital change after transfer of the capital. After the transfer of the capital, it became the center of Goryeo’s national operation. Afterwards, as the territory of Goryeo expanded, it was generally located in the center of Goryeo territory. Accordingly, it was possible to operate the country more efficiently than the precious dynasty.
게임엔진을 活用한 假想建築 시뮬레이션 適用可能性에 관한 硏究

This paper presents the potentialities of game engine based VR(Virtual Reality) technology as an architectural design tool in the design process. Virtual Reality technology is currently catching architects' attention as an effective device in simulating the space in a three-dimensional form. It efficiently provides a sense of immersion and interactive virtual environment so that its users can pre-experience a building with more vivid, flexible, and accurate view before the construction. Virtual Reality technology in the previous phase, however, conducts all the graphic processes with CPU and therefore it causes an excessive workload to CPU in order to create a VR environment. The ability and possibility of GPU-based VR system as an architectural design tool in design process is demonstrated and experimented in this paper.
