This research has been dealt with the nutritional component analysis of two kinds of non-edible marine algae, Sargassum horneri(Turner) C. Ag. and Zostera marina Linne´ which grow abundantly around the southern coast of Korea. These marine algae were mixed in several kinds of samples rates with the combined feed for poultry sold in the market. These were given to 35 chicken in seven test divisions respectively. We have experimented with 35 chicken grown up for two weeks after hatchout. The combined food for poultry obtained from the market was set up as control divisions, The experiments were as follows: 1) The average weight increase in each test division during feeding(Table 5, Fig.2). 2) Food conversion rate and food efficiency in each test division(Table 7). 3) The comparison of digestive rate of crude protein during feeding(Table 8). The results were as follows: 1) The weight increasing rate of the test animal stock fed the food containing 5-10% of Sargassum horneri(Turner) C. Ag. powder was higher than the rate of those fed only market food for poultry. 2) The stock given food containing 10% Zostera marina powder showed lower growth than the control divison. 3) No apparent trouble owing to salt component involved in the marine algae was found. 4) The stock given food containing sodium glutaminate and Sargassum horneri(Turner) C. Ag. had better result than that without sodium glutaminate.
Orientation Control of the Helical Nanofilament Phase and Its Chiro-optical Applications

Chiral liquid crystal (LC) phases show many interesting structural and optical properties when uniaxially oriented. Among the various chiral LC phases, the helical nanofilament (HNF) phase has many potentials to be applied in practical chiro-optical applications due to its mechanical and thermal stability than conventional chiral nematic LC phases. However, until so far, the lack of an orientation tool for the HNF phase hinders further study. In this research, we developed a new method for the uniaxial alignment of the HNF phase and made useful chiro-optical applications such as photonic crystal, chiral sensor, and security code. In detail, the photoalignment process using the azobenzene moieties and optical properties originated from the periodic chiral nanostructures are studied. We believe that these developments can bring further chiro-optical studies based on the fine control of chiral nanostructures.

古汉语的程度副词當中,‘生’产生在唐代,主要在唐宋诗词中构成‘生怕’、‘生憎’、‘生羡’等惯用形式,它在唐宋时期比较拥有能产性,但是以後慢慢消失它的能产性,只有‘生怕’生存到现代汉语,变成了一个词。程度副词‘生’主要跟心理动词结合,这種情况追溯到它的来源形式“生+心理宾语”结构。这個形式曾经在先秦时期出现,逐渐发展起来,到了六朝时期,特别在佛经文献中出现得非常多,當时已经变成了一种固定形式。这種形式當中的动词‘生’慢慢失去了自己的动词的性格,“生+心理宾语”形式逐渐类似于“副词+心理动词”结构。这样,‘生’的动词的性格淡化以後,“生+心理宾语”结构在上下文中经过说话者和听者的作用,发生一種诱使推理,这整個形式逐渐带上一種感情意思,然後,动词‘生’经过转喻作用,出现“出现某种感情”的意思,然後,它受到“感情宾语”的影响,带上〔+程度性〕,最後,表示“程度非常高”的意思了。这種语法化过程属于典型的主观化现象,通过说话者和听者之间的推理,‘生’的主观性越来越强化,最後变成这種程度副词的。
