      • AIN세라막 基板의 Mo 메탈라이징

        AIN 세라믹 기판에 금속 몰리브덴(Mo)을 메탈라이징 하기 위하여 Mo -SiO_(2)- TiO_(2) 조성의 Pasteti- AIN 기판에 스크린인쇄 하였다. 메탈라이징 효과에 미치는 Paste의 볼밀링시간, TiO_(2) 함량 및 소결 온도(1200- 1400℃) 의 영향을 조사하였다. 메탈라이징된 층의 표면과 파단면은 X-ray와 SEM으로 기판과 Paste와의 반응층은 EDX 로 분석하였으며, Paste와 기판과의 접착강도도 측정하였다. Mo-Paste는 Mo : SiO_(2) : TiO_(2) = 86 : 6 : 8 의 중량 비율로 20 이상 볼밀링 하였을 때 가장 좋은 결과를 나타내었으며, 소결 온도는 l250℃(N_(2) + H_(2) 분위기) 일 때 가장 높은 0.93kg/㎟의 Peel 강도를 얻었다. Mo-SiO_(2)-TiO_(2) pastes were screened on AIN substrates in order to metallize metallic molybdenum on AIN ceramic substrates. The effects of ball- milling time, TiO_(2) content of the paste and sintering temperature on metallizing were investigated. The surfaces of metallized layers and their cross sections were analyzed by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope. The reaction layers between Mo paste and AIN substrate were also analyzed by EDX and the adhesive strengths were measured. The best results were obtained when the ratio of Mo-paste (Mo : SiO_(2) : TiO_(2)) were 86% : 6% : 8%. The peel strength (0.93 Kg/㎟ ) was highest at sintering temperature at 1250℃.

        AlN-SiO2-Al2O3계로부터 AlN-Polytypes의 제조

        In order to synthesize AlN-polytypes from AlN-SiO2-Al2O3 system, composition A (AlN/SiO2/Al2O3=1/0.3/0.05, mole ratio) and composition B(AlN-SiO2-Al2O3=1/0.2/0.05, mole ratio) were used. AlN-polytypes were produced by nitriding the mixture at 175$0^{\circ}C$~190$0^{\circ}C$ under N2 atmosphere. For lower reaction temperature, 15R phase was produced and in the case of higher reaction temperature, AlN phase was only produced. As each composition was heated at 185$0^{\circ}C$ in N2 atmosphere, produced main phases were 15R phase for composition A and 21R phase for composition B respectively. The fracture surfaces of produced reactants showed porous skeleton structure.

        The Contemporary Manner of the ‘Pity’ in the Concept of Classical Meaning

        The concept of pity has been continually debated as one of the major characteristics of tragedy, as highlighted by Aristotle. Especially, this concept might be changed according to the change of drama characters, relying on times. Aristotle says that ‘pity’ must be included in the accounts of tragedy along with fear. Historically, divergent interpretations have been understood in different meanings based on the worldview of each era. This thesis attempts to explore ‘pity’ including how it has been understood and discussed since Aristotle first mentioned it, and search for a way of having pity on a person who undergoes misery until now in the times of losing the tragedy in real meaning.

        Effect of the aspect ratio of an elliptical cylinder on mixed convective heat transfer within a lid-driven enclosure

        This study examines the mixed convection inside a lid-driven enclosure containing an elliptical cylinder for Reynolds numbers of 100 ≤ Re ≤ 1000. A simulation conducted to study the effects of the aspect ratio, and the temperature boundary conditions (θ Cyl = θ C or θ C /2) of the elliptical cylinder. The heat transfer performances rely on the relative magnitude of the viscous force caused by the top lid movement. Another factor is the buoyancy force that occurred due to the temperature difference between the heated bottom and the cold top walls, which also strongly depends on the aspect ratio. At Re = 500, the value of <Nu B > increased by about 7.6 % at θ Cyl = 0 and AR = 4.00 compared to the results of a circular cylinder (AR = 1.00). Moreover, a correlation has been proposed to estimate the Nusselt nuber for the geiven Reynolds number, aspect ratio, and the temperature of cylinder based on the power law model with a high goodness of curve fitting.

        $\beta$-Sialon 소결체의 산화 거동

        In order to evaluate the oxidation behavior of $\beta$-Sialon, $\beta$-Sialon ceramics was prepared from Si3N4, Al2O3, AlN and Y2O3 system. The specimens were oxidized in an oxygen atmosphere at 1, 20$0^{\circ}C$ for 9days. Oxidation behavior was evaluated by weight gain oxidation process, surface roughness. Microscopy, EDX and X-ray diffraction analysis were also used for the evaluation. The weight and surface roughness ofoxidized specimens were increased with increasing the oxidation time. Oxidized products were mullite, $\alpha$-cristobalite, yttrium aluminum oxide and yttrium silicate oxide.

      • 전도성 Sialon-TiB2 세라믹 복합체의 소결 및 기계적 특성

        β-Sialon은 고온 구조용 재료로써 Al_(2)O_(3) 와 같은 여러 산화물이 Si_(3)N_(4)에 고용된 고용체이며 고온산화 저항이 크며 소결성이 우수한 재료이다. Sialon에 붕화티탄(TiB_(2)) 첨가 시 TiB_(2)가 Sialon의 소결 거동, 기계적 특성 및 전기적 특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. Sialon 메트릭스에 전도성 소재인 TiB_(2)의 양을 15, 30 및 45Vol.% 첨가하였다. Sialon과 Sialon-TiB_(2) 복합체를 1800℃에서 질소 분위기, 30MPa가압조건으로 고온가압 소결한 결과 소결밀도가 이론밀도의 최대 99%, 최소 97% 값을 나타내었다. 30 Vol.% TiB_(2) 첨가 시 복합체의 인성은 Sialon의 인성치 보다 23% 증가하였다. 파괴거동을 SEM으로 관찰한 결과 복합체는 균열 편향 (crack deflection) 현상을 나타내었으며 이 파괴 거동이 인성치를 향상시키는 원인으로 보인다. 전기 전도도는 30Vol.% 와 45Vol.% TiB2 첨가 시 각각 1.2 × 10^(-4)Ω와 1.10^(-6)Ωcm이었다. β-sialon as one of the challengable high temperature structural materials consists of Si_(3)N_(4) solid solution with several oxides like Al_(2)O_(3), which shows high temperature oxidation resistance, good machinability and high sinterability. The influences of TiB_(2) addition to the β-siaon on sintering behaviour, mechanical and electrical properties were investigated. Sialon and sialon-TiB_(2) composites were prepared by hot-pressing method in inert nitrogen atmosphere under 30MPa at 1800℃. The sintered densities of the sialon and it's composites were than 99% T.D and 97%T.D, respectively. In case of sialon composites with 30 vol.% TiB_(2), their toughness was about 22% higher than that of sialon. SEM observation revealed that transgranular fracture for sialon and crack deflection for sialon-TiB_(2) composites mainly occurred which caused the improvement of fracture toughness. The electrical resistivities of the composite with 30vol.% and, 45vol.% of TiB_(2) were 1.2·10^(-4)Ωcm and 1·10^(-6)Ωcm, respectively.
