Allerdings lßt sich seit den siebziger Jahren ein zunehmendes Interesse an wissenschaftliche angeleiteter Rechtspolitik und Gesetzgebung beobachten, das seinen Grund in einer Vernderung der Staatsttigkeit hat.Das wissenschaftliche Bemhen um Gesetzgebung, das mit diesem Wandel der politischen Verhltnisse einen gewissen Aufschwung nah, war anfangs eher formaler Art. Es ging einseits um Frage der besseren Gesetzesformlierung im Sinne Klarheit, Bindungskraft und Konsistenz, andererseits um eine Verbesserung des Geetzgebungsverfahren. Die verbretete Skepsis gegenber einer wisenschaftlich angeleiteten Rechtspolitik und Gesetzgebung fand sich vielfach besttigt. Inzwischen hat sich das Interesse merklich verlagert. Der grund dafr liegt in den seither gemachten Erfahrungen mit dem Planungs und Steuerungsstaat und seinem Werkzeug, dem interventionistischen Recht. Der relative geringe Wirkungs oder Durchsetzungsgrad zahlreicher Gesetz hat den Blick darauf gelenkt, daß die eigentliche rechtspolitische Problematik nicht in der Gesetzgebungspolitik und Gesetzgebungsverfahren, sondern in der Regelungsmaterie und den politischen Rahmenbedingungen leigt.

Carcinoid syndrome exhibits a constellation of symptoms typically exhibited by patients with carcinoid tumors that produce neuroendocrine mediators, including serotonin. Carcinoid syndrome is diagnosed by increasing urinary 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid and manifestations of gastrointestinal tract, respiratory, cardiovascular, and skin involvement, which occurs in <10% of patients. Cutaneous manifestations are flushing, telangiectasias, pellagra dermatitis, and scleroderma-like lesions, which are relatively rare. A 60-year-old woman presented with sclerotic skin lesions on both legs. On examination, a 10×10 cm solid mass was palpable on the right lower abdomen, and she had facial flushing and telangiectasia, but Raynaud`s phenomenon was absent. The urinary 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid was elevated (68.2 mg/day). Abdominal and pelvic CT scans showed a right ovarian tumor which was diagnosed as a carcinoid tumor by CT-guided needle biopsy. Thus, we report, for the first time, a case of carcinoid syndrome with scleroderma-like lesions in a Korean patient. If facial flushing and a scleroderma-like lesion present together, one should consider a carcinoid tumor. (Korean J Dermatol 2009;47(9):1054∼1059)

조건 평균법에 의한 난류 예혼합 화염편 구조와 전파 속도 예측

A governing equation is derived from the equation of the reaction progress variable for the conditional flamelet structure and the turbulent burning velocity in turbulent premixed combustion. Direct numerical simulations are conducted for constant density flames to validate the newly derived conditional flamelet equation. Good agreement is shown between the conditional flamelet equation and the flamelet structures and turbulent burning velocities from DNS. They are validated for laboratory flames as well by numerical solutions of the modified laminar premixed flame code in Cantera. Reasonable agreement is shown with a tuning constant for turbulent diffusivity to consider the uncertainty involved in each experimental setup and conditions in the references.
