본 논문은 도시와 농촌 그리고 도시근교지역 주민간에 환경의식이나 보존 행위에 차이가 있는지 미국의 와시터노 카운티 지역을 중심으로 연구해 보고자하였다. 본 연구는 특히 폐기물과 관련된 행태 즉 재활용이나 폐기물을 근원적으로 줄이려는 노력에 지역주민간 차이가 존재하는지 또한 그들이 관련된 환경정책에 대해 어떠한 인식을 하고 있는지 조사해 보고자 하였다. 인구밀도와 도시와의 근접성 등을 기준으로 와시터노 카운티를 도시, 농촌, 및 도시근교 지역으로 구분하였다. 각 인구조사 지역별(census tract)로 동일수의 응답자가 추출되어 총 1120부의 설문지가를 배포하였고, 배달된 1022부중 488부가 회수되었다. 판별분석을 이용하여 지역적 차이가 몇몇 변수들로 특정 지워질 수 있는지 알아보았고, 나아가 ANOVA 분석을 통하여 상기의 변수 외에 지역간 차이를 나타내는 변수에는 무엇이 있는지 조사하였다. 전반적으로 도시와 농촌의 차이는 주민의 태도나 인식의 상이함보다는 제도적 변수 (폐기물 수거방법)와 인구학적 변수 (교육수준, 가구 당 구성원수, 거주기간 등)에 의해 구별되었다. 그리고 도시근교지역의 거주자에게서는 도시와 농촌의 특성이 혼재되어 나타났으며 환경보존 행위에 있어서는 가장 저조한 참여율을 보였다.

This study aims to investigate the effects of organizational justice including perceptions of compensation and promotion on career plateau, job commitment. and intention to turnover, based on a case study of a public corporation. In a survey questionnaire, 485 out of 1,278 employees responded and 417 cases without missing data were analyzed using structural equation models (SEMs). There were several key findings. First, satisfaction with procedural justice appears to have positive effects on compensation and promotion satisfaction, but negative effects on career plateau. However, satisfaction with promotion was found to have no statistically significant effects on career plateau when rank and length-of-service is controlled. Second, the length-of-service shows no statistically significant effect on public service motivation (PSM) and career plateau. In contrast. rank has a positive effect on procedural justice and PSM, but a negative effect on career plateau. Third, SEM results show that career plateau is the core factor for having a negative effect on job involvement: the stronger the dissatisfaction with career plateau, the higher the intention to turnover. In addition, PSM was found to have positive effects on job commitment and negative effects on the intention to turnover. Overall the results of the present study implies that it is important to utilize economic incentives, such as compensation. in order to enhance the efficiency of public organizations, but its success or failure depends on capabilities in cultivating employee PSM and resolving dissatisfaction with procedural justice and career plateau.
한국의 초미세먼지(PM<SUB>2.5</SUB>)의 영향요인 분석

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of PM<SUB>2.5</SUB> on domestic and Chinese factors designated in the policy of the Korean government (2016.6.3). Panel data analysis was performed considering a range of factors including coal energy production in Korea, PM2.5 in China and the monthly west wind days ratio in 16 Korean cities and provinces between February 2015 and May 2016. As a result, the PM2.5 in Shandong Province, China, and the westerly wind direction ratio showed a positive effect on the PM2.5 in Korea. In addition, both domestic coal fired power generation trading volume and diesel consumption did not have a significant effect on PM2.5 in Korea. However, the manufacturing index of the domestic cement industry showed a positive effect on PM<SUB>2.5</SUB>. According to the results of the analysis, it is necessary for the Korean government to take cooperative measures with China to reduce PM<SUB>2.5</SUB> in Shandong Province. Among domestic factors, the relocation of cement production facilities to the eastern part of the country should be considered.

The purpose of this study is to analyze what factors affect people’s support for the government and parties. Specifically, this study aims to analyze whether values on progressive or conservative ideology or the government’s role were an effective variable, whether administrative service satisfaction had an effect on people’s support for the government, and whether individual environment and situation decided a preference for each party. In order to test those hypotheses, this study carried out the structural equation modeling analysis with 2007 Citizen Survey data. Values on the government’s role, satisfaction for administrative service, income level and satisfaction for individual life gad a significant effect on their recognition about the government. However, variables as ideology and age did not have a direct effect on people’s support for the government. Especially, belief for the government played an important role as a mediating variable connecting various exogenous latent variables with valuation on the government activities and support for parties. The people had low support for the Participatory Government as much as they had high-level income. However, satisfaction for subjective life level had an affirmative effect on their support for the government.
대·중소 및 중견 기업의 ESG 성과와 재무가치 간의 상관관계 분석

The Korean government recently announced a plan to expand the mandatory disclosure of ESG information for all KOSPI-listed companies by 2030. While large corporations with resources can effectively comply with ESG-related regulations, SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) may become financially stressed by the rapid policy changes. Using the Korea Corporate Governance Service’s ESG data, this study examines the relationships between ESG performance and three financial indicators: financial performance, short-term corporate value, and long-term corporate value, according to corporate size. It demonstrates that, first, SMEs have a statistically significant positive correlation between ESG performance and financial performance, while large companies do not. Second, companies of all sizes have a statistically significant difference between ESG performance and long-term corporate value. However, in terms of direction, small companies show a inverse relationship of which ESG-related regulators should be prudent. Third, large and small companies do not show a significant relationship between ESG performance and short-term value, while mid-sized companies show a statistically significant negative relationship. Overall, the relationship between ESG performance and financial indicators is most pronounced and evident in mid-sized companies. In mid-sized companies, companies with good ESG performance have better financial performance and better long-term corporate value but show a negative relationship to short-term corporate value. The relationship for large and small companies is not as strong as mid-sized companies. Therefore, although the expansion of such disclosure for SMEs may attract investors for capital raising and eventually help enhance business performance, the government’s supplementary measures are needed. Administrators should be more cautious because the policy changes may hurt business operations in the short term.
외식업체의 물리적 환경이 고객의 행동에 미치는 영향 -위생관리변수의 조절효과를 중심으로-

본연구는 코로나19 확산의 여파로 외식 산업의 심각한 매출 감소를 회복하기 위한 처방안의 하나로서 소비자들이 외식산업의 물리적 환경의 중요성을 어떻게 인식하고 특히 위생변수의 조절 효과가 소비자들의 행동에 어떠한 영향을 끼치는지를 조사하였다. 이 목표를 달성하기 위해 본 연구는 자기 기입식 설문조사 방법을 통해 진행하였으며 배포된 설문지 중 627부가 최종 유효한 응답지로 선택되었다. 그리고 다중회귀분석을 통해 외식산업의 물리적 환경변수가 고객의 구전 (Word of Mouth) 행동과 재방문의사에 어떠한 영향을 주었는지 검증하고 위생관리변수가 물리적환경변수와 소비자의 행동사이의 관계에서 조절역할을 하였는지를 검증하였다. 검증결과 외식산업의 물리적환경은 소비자의 긍적적인 구전에 영향을 주었고 재방문 의도에도 긍적적인 영향을 주었다. 외식업체의 물리적 환경과 구전의 관계에 코로나19 대응 위생관리 변수가 조절역활을 하지 않았지만 외식업체의 물리적환경과 재방문의도 관계에서는 조절역활을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 통해 코로나19 이후 외식업체의 운영성과를 높이기 위해서는 무엇보다도 매장 내의 청결성을 유지하는 것과 코로나19로 인한 고객 감소에 대응하기 위해 매장 내에서 질병 예방 노력이 중요함이 확인되었다. This study investigates the effects of restaurants’ physical environments on customers’ words of moth and return intention. Data was collected using a self-administered questionnaire from restaurants during summer of 2020 and received 627 useful responses. The data was analyzed using the hierarchical multiple regression. The results showed that restaurants’ physical environments was statistically significant influencing factors on customers’ positive word-of-mouth and return intention. Hygiene environmental variables did not moderated the relationship between restaurants’ physical environments and customers’ word-of-mouth whereas hygiene environmental variables did moderated the relationship between restaurants’ physical environments and customers’ return intention. The results of this study suggested that restaurant business owners need to maintain clean environment and to continuously educate employees to protect customers from COVID-19 spread.
코로나19 바이러스 감염 확산에 대응한 봉쇄 및 폐쇄정책의 효과 분석 - 봉쇄 및 폐쇄정책이 코로나19 바이러스 감염재생산지수에 미치는 영향 -

This paper explores the effects of containment and closure policies in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic. Using the Oxford COVID-19 Government Response Tracker(OxCGRT) and the COVID-19 reproduction number, the authors investigate 157 countries’ panels for a total of 303 days from January 23, 2020, to November 20, 2020. They construct the time lag models between the independent and dependent variables into seven days and 14 days to identify the effectiveness and timeliness of the policies. In panel fixed-effects regression, both the 7-day lag(X<sub>t-7</sub>) model and the 14-day lag(X<sub>t-14</sub>) model present that while in the case of School Closing and Workplace Closing, the COVID-19 reproduction number tends to decrease as the intensity of the policies increases, the other variables have heteroscedasticity. The Prais-Winsten model to solve heteroskedasticity and autocorrelation in the panels shows that all containment and closure policies except for Stay at Home Requirements, Restrictions on Internal Movement in the X<sub>t-7</sub> model, and Closes Public Transport in the X<sub>t-14</sub> model reduce the COVID-19 reproduction number. This research can elaborate the preemption and timeliness of the containment and closure policies in response to the COVID-19.
