For the purpose of the selection of suitable base fabric of Army Raincoat, co-relation of surface condition and adhesion on several kind of domestic cotton cloth were broadly investigated, Seven ditterent kinds of cotton cloth were processed with mill scale and then went into topping operation with natural rubber(RSS#3) and synthetic rubber (SBR#1502). Comparison of adhesion was made after each step of wet processing and of the raising operation. The conclusion was made as follows: 1. Non calendered fabric shows much better adhesion than calendered. 2. Raising operation has not shown good advantage in adhesion. 3. A base fabric textured with finer yarn and higher density have shown better adhesion.

Because the torsional rigidity of the steel box girder is larger than that of any section of the steel girder, the steel box girders are used widely on the curved guideway in city bridge. In this papers, the computer program, that is able to analyze the stress of the steel box girder automatically, is developed. More easier stress check method for the steel box girder section is proposed by this study.

Kim-Seongho's house is a dwelling of the upper class which was built at Yeong-Gwang Gun in the late Yi-Dynasty. On the base of functional conditions we tried to analyze the type of the spacial composition from the two viewpoints. One is the physical division of the territories, the other is the functional division of the territories. In the result we found that the establishment of the territories which have the meanings respectively in this house is based on the centripetal system. The centripetal core is the backyard of the Sa-Rang-Chai from the viewpoint of the physical division of the territories. And from the viewpoint of the functional division, the interyard between Sa-Rang-Chai and An-Chai is the centripetal core. This centripetal system of the spacial composition has the meaning of the hierachy of the territories. The central part is the domain of the upper class and the peripheral part is the domain of the lower class

본 연구의 목적은 고대의 세계관과 철학 속에 나타나는 수의 개념이 건축물의 공간과 형태 구성에 어떠한 원리로서 작용하는가를 밝히는 데에 있다. 본 논문은 이 연구의 초기적 단계로서, 기 발표된 유사 연구의 내용에 대한 검토와 조선시대의 대표적 궁궐인 경복궁의 배치계획에 나타난 수개념의 상징성을 고찰하였다. 그 결과로서, 건축의 배치계획이 단순히 기능의 해결과 외견상의 형식미에 그치지 아니하고 당시의 세계관과 우주관등의 형이상학적인 개념의 표현이었다는 것을 엿볼 수 있다. 특히 수개념과 관련하여 경복궁의 배치계획에 나타난 상징성으로는 천문사상의 상징, 홍범구주의 상징, 문왕팔괘의 상징, 그리고 음양오행의 상징등에 대한 가능성을 찾을 수 있었다. This study was carried out to clarify how concept of numbers in the ancient view of world and philosophy acts on the composition of space and form in architecture, and what principle exists between them. As the first phase, literatures related were reviewed and the symbolism represented by the number concept at Kyungbok palace was investigated which is one of typical examples for the similar kinds in the Chosun Dyanasty.

본 연구는 법주사의 영역형성 과정에 작용하는 다양한 요인 중 당시 불교의 신앙체계로서 미륵신앙이 사찰 영역형성에 어떻게 반영되고 표현되는가를 살펴보고, 이를 토대로 법주사가 현재와 같은 영역구조를 가지게 된 배경과 원인을 고찰하여 그 특성을 밝혀내는 것을 본 연구의 목적으로 한다. 그 결과로서 법주사의 영역형성과정에 불교의 신앙체계의 변화가 지대한 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. This study has something of my object that among various reasons which worked on the process of forming territory of Bopchusa, observes how Maitreya's thought, as a system of Buddistic faith then, was reflected and expressed the formation of temple territory On the basis of that, this study also considers the background and reason 'how Bopchusa could be taken such a structure of territory as the present time' and makes clear its peculiarity. As a result I can find that the change of a system of Buddistic belief exerts a great influence on the course of making territory of Bopchusa.

The lateral vibration of beam with the effect shear deformation, rotatory inertia and these two factors is analyzed in this paper. To qualitatively investigate the relative importance of these factors. the frequency ratio against the slenderness ratio associated each of these effects are shown in figure. For large slenderness ratios, there is only a small difference between Euler-Bernoulli beam theory and Timoshenko beam theory which includes only the effect of rotatory inertia, that of shear deformation and these two effects.
