Surface mount technology is the biggest theme in the area of deιIronic component. To miniatunze an electronic component, s such as ferrite chip inductor, the cer뼈lic wet process for green-sheet lamination and/or screen printing method through a s solvent medium system is widely used. The preparation and characterization of NiCuZn Ferrite (NCZF) shurry and the green s sheet using the water mixed binder system has been studied. The 21 vol% of NCZF slurry was prepared by a ball milling. The p polyacrylic vinyl copolymer (Mw; 60,000) was used as a binder. Th$\xi$ mixture of distilled water, isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and 2l butoxy ethanol was used as a dispersion medium. The water content of medium varied from about 40% to 80%. As the results. Thc disp$\xi$rston stability of the NCZF slurry was attributed to the free polymer rather than the electrostatic force of the particle. T The viscosity of the NCZF slurry was greatly depended on the ratio of water content in the medium.

The surface modification of iron oxide particle produced from steel-pickled acid by sodium silicates as silica-contained materials was studied. The molar ratio of SiO₂ to Na₂O of sodium silicate was 1, 2, 3.5, respectively. The dispersion stability of iron oxide suspension as functions of amount of silica and pH was evaluated by surface charge and sedimentation velocity of iron oxide particle. Then, the amount of sodium silicate was determined to provide a dispersion stability of iron oxide particle above pH 7. Finally, the surface modification of iron oxide particle with sodium silicate as silica-contained materials was done by wet ball milling. In the results of study, the dispersion stability of silica modified iron oxide particle was largely depended on amount of silica and pH together. The untreated iron oxide was unstable at pH 8, i.e. isoelectric point, but, the surface modified iron oxide particle with 0.8wt% silica was stable above pH 5. The dispersion stability was enhanced with 0.2wt% of anionic polyelectrolyte.
NiCuZn Ferrite의 겉보기 고화속도와 초기투자율의 충진율 의존성에 관한 연구

In this research, the processing control of NiCuZn Ferrite (NCZF) had been studied. NiCuZn Ferrite, which calcined at $700^{\circ}C$ for 3 bours, was ball milled for about 60 hours to ill김ke a size of $0.5\mu\;extrm{m}$ followed by granulation using spray dryer Apparent densincatioo rate and initial permeability of NiCuZn Ferrite with an initial packing density had been investigated as f follows. 1.The relative packing density of NCZF green body increas$\xi$d in the range of 48.6-56.8% with an increased forming pressure of 20-170 MPa. 2. The higher the relative pac퍼ng density of NCZF and the sintering temperature are, the higher the initial densification rate. The increased bulk rlcnsity of NCZF was attributed to the densification rate with decreased open pore and increased closed pore as the relative packing density, sintering temperature, and sinteriog tim$\xi$ increased. 3. The initial P permeability of NCZF with constant composition is logarithmically proportional to the bulk density of NCZF sintered at $875~925^{\circ}C$ for 0-5h, and strongly depended on the relative packing density of NCZF green body. The empirical equation is as f follows; log $\mu$i=$G1{\times}BD$+$G2{\times}RPD$+b(0);where, G1, G2; gradient, B.D: bulk density, RPD; relative packing density, b(0); intercept.
세라믹분체 표면에서 아크릴아마이드 중합(제2보) : MeOH가 질화규소 겔캐스팅에 미치는 영향

For the process control of silicon nitride gelcasting, the effect of MeOH on the apparent gel induction time of slip, drying rate, and mechanical property of gelcast body were investigated. The apparent gel induction time showed maximum at 10~20 vol% MeOH and the drying rate of gelcast body increased in the ranged of 25~40%. The gelcast body was still machinable in the 40% of MeOH, though the mechanical property and relative density slightly decreased with increasing the amount of MeOH. 질화규소 겔케스팅 공정제어를 위하여, MeOH의 첨가가 겔화유도시간과 성형체의 건조속도 및 기계적 특성에 미치는 영향에 대하여 조사하였다. 그 결과, 10~20 vol%의 MeOH 첨가에서 겉보기 겔화유도시간은 가장 크게 나타났으며, 이때의 건조속도는 약 25~40%의 증진효과를 나타내었다. 분산매에 대하여 40% MeOH 첨가 범위에서 성형체의 기계적 가공은 가능하였으나, 겔캐스팅 성형체의 상대밀도 및 강도는 다소 낮아졌다.

본 연구에서는 겔캐스팅법의 제조공정 확립을 위하여 분산제의 분자구조가 질화규소 슬립의 점성특성 및 성형체의 상대밀도와 기계적 특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 슬립과 겔캐스팅 성형체의 제조방법은 기보고된 방법과 동일하게 하였다. 그 결과, 겔캐스팅 슬립의 점성은 분산제의 분자구조와 모노머와 분산제의 구성비율에 크게 의존하였다. PMAA 분산제를 사용한 슬립의 점성은 PAA 및 PAAm 분산제 보다 높은 점도를 나타내었다. 성형체의 상대밀도는 슬립의 농도에 크게 의존하였으며, 분산제양과 모노머의 양변화에는 그다지 변화가 없었다. 그리고, 겔캐스팅 성형체의 기계적 특성은 크게 모노머의 농도에 의존하였으며, 분산제양과 슬립의 농도에는 큰 변화가 없었다.
NiCuZn Ferrite의 제조공정 제어 (제1보) - 습식 볼밀링에 의한 다성분 원료의 혼합 및 분쇄 공정의 고찰

In this research, the processing control of NiCuZn Ferrite has been developed. The mixing and the size reduction of raw materials have been proceeded. In order to produce NiCuZn Ferrite, highly concentrated slurry with fixed ratio and wet ball milling were used. First, the dispersion behavior of raw mixture at the region of pH4 ~ pH11 has been studied. Using wet ball milling operation, the best conditions of mixing and size reduction have been determined. Further more, the most suitable conditions, such as, dispersant kind, dispersant amount, milling time, and slurry concentration have been studied. The poly acrylic ammonium salt (PAN) was chosen as a suitable dispersant to have effective dispersion in basic region. The slurry of raw mixture without dispersant, showed high viscosity and poor grindability. As 0.7 wt% of PAN was added, the concentrated slurry (up to 55 vol%) was possible, and showed well grindability. After 18 h ball milling of 30 vol % of mixture slurry with 0.7 wt % of PAN, the average particle size and specific surface area of raw mixture were 0.54 ㎛ and 12.92 ㎡/cc, respectively. The ball milled raw mixture, calcined at 700 ℃ for 3h, was totally changed into NiCuZn Ferrite with spinel phase.
