Four sesquiterpenes isolated from a Marine Sponge Topsentia species
노정래 한국자기공명학회 2014 Journal of the Korean Magnetic Resonance Society Vol.18 No.2
Three bicyclic and one monocyclic sesquiterpenoids were isolated from the marine sponge Topsentia species. Their planar structures were completely determined from a combination of extensive 1D and 2D NMR experiments, and also the relative stereochemistry on the chiral centers were established by the ROESY experiment. Compound 1 was determined as a new stereoisomer. Furthermore, the NMR spectral data for compounds 2 and 4, of which have not been reported, were listed. Four compounds did not show any cytotoxicity, instead compound 4 exhibited moderate antifungal activity against Candida albicans.
A new derivative of phorbaketals isolated from a Marine Sponge Phorbas species
노정래,황병수,Cao Yang 한국자기공명학회 2011 Journal of the Korean Magnetic Resonance Society Vol.15 No.2
A new sesterterpenoid, phorbaketal derivative, was isolated from the marine sponge Phorbas species. Its planar structures was completely determined from a combination of extensive 1D and 2D NMR experiments and MS data, and also the stereochemistry on the chiral centers were established by the ROESY experiment and the comparison with the ^1H and ^(13)C chemical shifts of the known phorbaketal compounds. This compound 1 moderately showed cytotoxicity effect against hepatoma cancer HepG2 cell.
A new 5a, 8a-epidioxy sterol from the Marine Sponge Plakortis simplex
노정래,오정순,김명하,송아린 한국자기공명학회 2010 Journal of the Korean Magnetic Resonance Society Vol.14 No.1
Four 5,8-epidioxy sterols were isolated from the marine sponge Plakortis simplex. Their structures were completely determined by an extensive NMR analysis and comparison with NMR data of similar compounds for absolute stereochemistry of the side chain. The compounds were assigned as 5,8-epidioxy- (24S)-ethylcholesta-6,22(E),25-trien-3-ol(1), 5,8-epidioxy-(24S)-methylcholesta-6,22(E)-dien-3-ol(2), 5,8-epidioxycholesta-6,22(E)-dien-3-ol(3) and 5,8-epidioxycholesta-6-en-3-ol (4).
Sarcotrine G, a New Derivative Isolated from a Marine Sponge Sarcotragus Species
노정래,황병수,Su Young Park,박명길 한국자기공명학회 2008 Journal of the Korean Magnetic Resonance Society Vol.12 No.1
Four sesterterpenoids were isolated from AMPK activity-guided fraction of marine sponge Sarcotragus species. Their planar structures were determined from combination of extensive 1D and 2D NMR experiments and MS data, and the configuration at the chiral centers were assigned by comparison with the 1H and 13C chemical shifts of the known compounds. Among four compounds, compound 2 was found to be a new sarcotrine derivative. Though not strong, compounds 1-4 moderately showed AMPK activation effect on L6 myoblast cell through Western Blot analysis.
Steroid compounds from the marine sponge Raspilia hirsute
노정래 한국자기공명학회 2006 Journal of the Korean Magnetic Resonance Society Vol.10 No.1
The methanolic extract of the marine sponge Raspilia hirsute collected from Keomun Island resulted in three types of sterols : a mixture of (24S)-Poriferasta-5, 25-diene-3, 24-diol and (24R)-Stigmasta-5, 25-diene-3, 24 -diol (1), 25,26,27-Trinorcholest-5-en-3,24-diol (2), and Pregn-5-en-20-on-3-ol (3). The isolation and structural determination of these sterols are reported here. Compound 1 showed moderate cytotoxicity against human Leukemia cell line K562 영어논문

[ $[Li_{0.04}(Na_{0.54}K_{0.46})_{0.96}](Nb_{1-0.04-X}TaxSb_{0.04})O_3$ ]lead-free piezoelectric ceramics have been prepared by normal sintering at $1,100^{\circ}C$ for 5 h. X-ray diffraction analysis indicated that specimens demonstrate orthorhombic symmetry when $Ta\leq5$ mol%. While transforming into tetragonal symmetry when $x\geq20$ mol%. These suggest that the orthorhombic and tetragonal phases co-exist in the ceramics with 5 mol% <Ta<20 mol% at room temperature. All samples have high density, ranging from 4.46 to 4.79 g/$cm^3$. As the result of SEM images, the grain growth was decreased with the increase of Ta substitution. The ceramics become 'softening', leading to improvements in $k_p$, $\varepsilon_r$ and $d_{33}$, but a decrease in $Q_m$. Excellent properties of $k_p$= 0.46, $d_{33}$= 293 pC/N, ${\varepsilon}_r$= 1,583 and Tc= $340^{\circ}C$ were obtained when Ta= 15 mol%.
Gender Differences in Maternal Intervention in Jeju Ponies (Equus caballus)
노정래,Robert B.,최재천 한국생태학회 2005 Journal of Ecology and Environment Vol.28 No.5
We investigated interventions by mother Jeju ponies on Jeju Island, Korea, to determine whethermothers assisted their offspring to attain higher status within the dominance hierarchy. Because dominance rank is important within each gender, we predicted that mothers would be more likely to intervene when their foals were play-fighting with foals of the same gender. A total of 173 play-fighting events were recorded from March to October 1998 and from April to October 1999. Of these, foals were more likely to play-fight with a foal of the same gender as with a foal of the opposite gender (120 versus 53 occurrences, respectively). A mother of one of the foals that were play-fighting intervened in 17 of these interactions. Contrary to the prediction, a mare was interactions between the opposite genders further, mothers were equally likely to intervene when a daughter was play-fighting with a male foal as when a son was play-fighting with a female foal. Hence, mothers were not more protective of daughters than sons. Mothers that were in the younger age class (2~11 years old) were as likely to intervene as those in the elder age class (17~25 years old). However, all foals that were harassed were offspring of mothers in the younger, more subordinate age class. Intervention directly maintains the dominance rank of the intervening mother, and may indirectly assist the intervening mothers foal to achieve a higher dominance rank. By discouraging their foals from play-fighting with the opposite genders, dominant mothers may rank.
NMR study on secondary metabolites isolated from an identified tunicate
노정래 한국자기공명학회 2004 Journal of the Korean Magnetic Resonance Society Vol.8 No.2
Four secondary metabolites from an unidentified tunicate were isolated by treatment with trichloroethyl chloroformate(TECF) or acetic anhydride in pyridine. Their structures were determined by an extensive NMR analysis and the configuration of diacetyl derivatives(3a, 4a) was assigned by comparing with NMR data of a similar compound. Three new naturally occurring compounds (1, 3, 4) showed potent brine shrimp lethality and antifungal effect against Candia albicans. 영어논문
