        The object of computerized hospital management shall be labor for qualitative advancement of medical care as well as rationalization of management through integration and control of various information. Therefore, computerization of affairs of medical record department may make a role in it. To summarize the above study was as follows : 1. All of the fifteen studied hospitals were computerized in hospital management. Computerization of office management was nearly established but in three hospitals which have over 500beds were not established in computerization of medical record management. 2. In fifteen hospitals, computerization of patient index and number retrieval were most established objects. Because precise input and rapid retrieval of patient resources were important role of medical record department, it is necessary to computerize them. 3. In fifteen hospitals, the plan of computerization for incomplete chart control and chart control were highest interests. It is suggested that each hospital has great concern in effective management of incomplete chart control. Conclusively, profit of hospital was maximised by computerization of affairs of medical record department that intend precision and rapidity and save time, manpower, and cost. And for computerization of affairs of medical record department, thorough understanding and education for computerization were needed for staffs in medical record department. Medical record practitioner should play a role in administration of medical information in the hospital.

        『허클베리 핀의 모험』에 나타난 배타적 인종주의의 원인과 현상 - 다윈의 진화론적 관점을 중심으로 -

        This paper aims to examine how exclusive racism is revealed through the behaviors of white boys such as Huckleberry Finn and Tom and the other characters in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn in the light of Darwin's evolutionary perspective. The racism shown in this novel has been spreading, rationalizing the dominant discourse of white people creating social conventions that blacks are inferior. This idea is already deeply embedded in the boys' consciousness. Huck, who symbolizes the abolitionist often makes a statement that ignores Jim, and Tom, who represents the white supremacist plays life-threatening prank to Jim. So this article refutes critics' arguments that favorably interpret Tom and Huck as boys who represent American vivid self. In doing so, it reveals Huck's arrogance to ignore Jim's excellence involuntarily and Tom's cruelty and hypocrisy, which Tom shows when he puts Jim at risk and compensates it to him with money, even throwing white people into confusion. By realizing that Tom's play is no longer an innocent one, the readers find out the racism is dangerous enough to destroy the lives of white people as well as the lives of black people.

        산업체 급식 속성요인이 급식만족도에 미치는 영향 -안산지역 외국인 근로자를 대상으로-

        The number of foreign workers in South Korea has increased rapidly in recent years. Thus far, however, relatively little research, has been conducted on dimensions of industrial catering and the food consumption experiences of international employees at Korean firms. Data were collected from 178 foreign workers employed at the Ansan Industrial Complex. Research findings revealed that of the 13 attributes of industrial catering service, three dimensions of cleanliness, food quality, and service experienced featured most prominent. Additionally, food quality and staff’s service dimensions had a significant effect on the catering satisfaction of foreign workers respectively. The findings imply that when providing meals the industrial catering companies should consider background characteristics of foreign workers, paying special respect to religious preferences and related cultural eating practices. In addition, the companies need to train their staffs regularly to be kind to the workers. This study concluded with the limitations of the study and future research areas. 이 연구는 산업체에서 근무하는 외국인 근로자들의 급식 이용행태, 이들의 급식 속성 요인 도출 및 이러한 요인들이 급식만족도에 영향을 미치는 정도를 분석하여 회사 식당이나 급식업체 운영자에게 유용한 시사점을 제공하고자 이루어졌다. 178명의 안산지역 외국인 근로자들을 대상으로 설문조사한 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저, 외국인 근로자의 산업체 급식 속성 요인은 음식의 질, 인적서비스, 청결성의 3개 요인으로 도출되었다. 또한, 산업체 급식 속성요인들 중에서 음식의 질과 인적서비스 요인만이 급식만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 세부적으로는 급식만족도에 있어 음식의 질이 인적서비스보다 더 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 이 연구는 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 학문적․실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.

        감정노동이 직무스트레스와 심리적 웰빙에 미치는 영향

        This study attempted to find out the effect of emotional labor on job stress and psychological well-being among hotel employees who greet customers with a bright look and perform their tasks. The data collected from a survey of 282 employees in resort hotels was analyzed. The factor analysis showed that there were two dimensions for emotional labor(emotional dissonance and emotional efforts), three dimensions for job stress(work-related, customer-related, and environment-related stress), and six dimensions for psychological well-being (alienation, reduced personal accomplishment, dependence, environmental mastery, self-acceptance, and purpose of life). Research findings revealed that emotional dissonance had a positive influence on customer-related stress, work-related stress, and environment-related stress. Emotional dissonance had a positive influence on alienation, reduced personal accomplishment, and dependence. Emotional efforts had a positive influence on purpose of life and environmental mastery and a negative influence on reduced personal accomplishment. Lastly, customer-related stress had a negative influence on environmental mastery and work-related stress had a positive influence on alienation, dependence, and reduced personal accomplishment. 본 연구는 밝은 표정으로 고객을 맞이하며 업무를 수행하는 호텔 직원을 대상으로 그들의 감정노동이 직무스트레스와 심리적웰빙에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 연구를 진행하였다. 연구의 표본은 호텔 직원 282명이며, 구조방정식모형을 사용하여 분석하였다. 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 감정노동은 두 개의 차원(감정부조화, 감정노력), 직무스트레스는 세 개워 차원(업무관련, 고객관련, 환경관련), 심리적웰빙은 여섯 개의 차원(소외, 개인성취감감소, 의존성, 환경통제력, 자아수용, 삶의 목적)으로 도출되었다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 감정부조화는 고객관련스트레스, 업무관련 스트레스, 환경관련 스트레스에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 감정노력은 직무스트레스에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 감정부조화는 소외, 개인성취감감소, 의존성에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 감정노력은 삶의 목적과 환경통제력에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 개인성취감 감소에는 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 고객관련 스트레스는 환경통제력에 부(-)의 영향을 미치며, 업무관련 스트레스는 소외, 의존성, 개인성취감 감소에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 환경관련 스트레스는 심리적 웰빙에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다.

        주체적인 삶을 통한 성(性)정체성 회복 - 헤밍웨이의 『에덴동산』을 중심으로

        Ernest Hemingway’s reputation of masculine style has been reconsidered since his private manuscripts were made available to scholars. His posthumous writings, especially The Garden of Eden, allude to Hemingway’s tendency toward androgyny. At that time Hemingway’s conflict of sexual identity was common to the lost generation in despair. This article shows Hemingway’s struggle to re-establish his own innate sex can be perceived through the hero’s suffering; David has trouble with Catherine who has androgynous inclination asking for triangular love affair with Marita. The more confused he is with his sexual identity, the more immersed the hero is in writing. In the process of writing David can not only recover his sexual identity, choosing Marita who considers his masculinity sincerely, but also achieve the capability Hemingway had pursued as a writer. Even though The Garden of Eden is visually formed with homoeroticism, lesbian desire and androgyny, Hemingway’s central idea aiming to build a subjective life is underlined consistently.

      • 제주 여성의 부인 암에 관한 조사 연구 : 제주시내에 소재한 1개 병원의 의무기록을 중심으로

        During the period from Jan.1,1997 through Dec.31,1999, 44 cases of gynecological cancer were analyzed at one hospital in JeJu city. In this study, I have analyzed the epidemiologic analysis based on Medical records, The result were summarized as follows; 1. The new cancer patients were distributed from 1993 to 1999, and annual incidence was gradual increment yearly. The leading primary cancer site was uterine cervix(79.5%) and followed by ovary(13.6%). 2. The majority of patients were found in the group of age between 51-60(27.3%), and parity distribution was concentrated on the parity of 1-2. 3. The major diagnostic method was microscopic examination(biopsy of primary cancer site,75.0%) and distribution of the patients by the clinical stages showed the highest in the stage 0 (34.1%). 4. The leading histopathologic type showed squamous cell carcinoma (65.9%),followed by Adenocarcinoma(15.9%). 5. The incidence of lymph node metastasis was 50.0%, followed by urinary bladder, rectum, peritoneum. 6. The leading type of the treatment was surgery only(40.9%) especially, surgery showed the highest in the stage 0 (73.3%). 7. The result of the survival rate by the stage showed as follows; 100% in stage 0, 75% in stage I, 50% in stage II, 50% in stage III, 33.3% in stage IV respectively. 8. Distribution of malignant cases by age, stage and topography showed the highest in the 41-50 age group from stage 0, and showed highest in uterine cervix (79.5%) through all age group.

        호텔 직원의 감정노동이 심리적 웰빙에 미치는 영향

        This study attempted to find out the effect of emotional labor on psychological well-being of hotel employees who greet customers with a bright look and perform their tasks. First, through conducting the theoretical review this study tried to the derive underlying dimensions of emotional labor and psychological well-being. Second, it investigated the relationship between the derived factors. The exploratory factor analysis showed that there were two dimensions(emotional dissonance and emotional efforts) for emotional labor and six dimensions(self-acceptance, purpose of life, environmental mastery, alienation, reduced personal accomplishment, and dependence) for psychological well-being, respectively. Research findings revealed that emotional dissonance had a positive effect on alienation, reduced personal achievement, and dependency. Emotional efforts had a positive effect on purpose of life, self-acceptance, and environmental mastery and a negative effect on alienation, reduced personal achievement, and dependency. 본 연구는 밝은 표정으로 고객을 맞이하며 업무수행을 하는 호텔 직원을 대상으로 그들의 감정노동과 심리적 웰빙 간 관계 연구를 진행하였다. 분석결과, 감정노동은 2개 요인인 감정부조화, 감정노력으로 도출되었으며, 심리적 웰빙은 6개 요인인 삶의 목적, 자아수용, 환경통제력, 소외, 개인성취감 감소, 의존성으로 도출되었다. 감정노동과 심리적 웰빙 간 관계 결과에서는 감정부조화는 소외, 개인성취감 감소, 의존성에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 감정노력은 심리적 웰빙 전체에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 삶의 목적, 자아수용, 환경통제력에 정(+)의 영향을, 소외, 개인성취감 감소, 의존성에는 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
