The production of cyclic carbonates from CO2 and epoxides has been extensively studied. We investigatedthe formation of a cyclic carbonate promoted by metal- and halide-free silica-supported alkanolamines. Moreover, we compared the obtained turnover numbers with those of the corresponding homogeneouscatalysts and confirmed that the reusability of the proposed heterogeneous catalysts was enhanced bythe utilization of polymer-type structures with amine/epoxy reaction around the silica. A cycliccarbonate yield of 70% and selectivity of 97% were achieved at 120 C and 10 bar afterfive-fold reuse of thecatalyst.
Impact of Bisoprolol on Ventricular Arrhythmias in Experimental Myocardial Infarction

Following acute myocardial infarction (AMI), early use of beta-blockers (BBs) reduced the incidences of ventricular arrhythmia (VA) and death in the pre reperfusion era. However, some studies have reported a worsening of clinical outcomes and therefore, this study used a porcine model of AMI to evaluate the efficacy of bisoprolol on VAs and mortality. Twenty pigs were divided into two groups with one group using oral bisoprolol which was given for 3 hours before the experiment and then maintained for 7 days. A loop recorder was implanted, AMI was induced by balloon occlusion for 60 min, and then, reperfusion. One week later, the echocardiography and loop recorder data were analyzed in the surviving animals. Bisoprolol did not increase the heart rate (62.9±14.5 vs 79.0±20.3; p=0.048), lower the rate of premature ventricular contractions (PVC) (0.8±0.8 vs 11.0±12.8; p=0.021) or tend to lower recurrent VA (0.6±0.5 vs 1.1±1.1; p=0.131) during coronary artery occlusion. After reperfusion, bisoprolol did reduce VA in the early AMI period (0.1±0.3 vs 4.2±4.6; p=0.001) and it was not associated with the extent of myocardial recovery. In this porcine model, early oral bisoprolol might help reduce the incidences of PVC and recurrent VA and determine whether effects are more pronounced during the early AMI period. Our results suggest that bisoprolol might help reduce lethal VA and cardiac death following AMI in this reperfusion era.

Hybrid separation of dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) in a C5 stream was performed using a 1,1,3,3-tetraethoxy-1,3-dimethyl disiloxane (TEDMDS)-derived silica composite membrane. High purity DCPD, the keymonomer of the C5 stream can be concentrated by removing CPD through pervaporation from the CPDDCPDmixtures obtained by conventional distillation. Silica membranes were prepared using 1,1,3,3-tetraethoxy-1,3-dimethyl disiloxane (TEDMDS) by “spacer” and “template” techniques, which allowedfor control the pore size of silica membranes using bridged alkoxides that have pendant groups. TEDMDSderivedsilica membranes calcined at 450 C showed a high totalflux of 0.06–0.5 kg m 2 h 1 with a CPDseparation factor of 6–33 in a 95 wt% DCPD mixture, for feed temperature of 50–70 C. The silicamembranes prepared in this study shows relatively a highflux and acceptable separation factor. Therefore, they mayfind applications in commercial processes alongside the conventional distillation, bysaving energy and reducing byproducts.
서비스워커 기반의 캐싱 시스템을 이용한 웹 콘텐츠 로딩 속도 향상 기법

The web is one of the most intimate technologies in people's daily lives, and most of the time, people are sharing data on the web. Simple messenger, news, video, as well as various data are now spreading through the web. In addition, with the emergence of Web assembly technology, the programs that run in the existing native environment start to enter the domain of the Web, and the data shared by the Web is now getting wider and larger in terms of VR / AR contents and big data . Therefore, in this paper, we have studied how to effectively deliver web contents to users who use Web service by using service worker that can operate independently without being dependent on browser and cache API that can effectively store data in web browser. 웹은 사람들의 일상생활에 있어 가장 밀접한 기술 중 하나로 오늘날 대부분의 사람들은 웹을 통해 데이터를 공유하고 있다. 단순 메신저, 뉴스, 영상뿐만 아니라 다양한 데이터가 현재 웹을 통하여 전파되고 있는 셈이다. 또한 웹 어셈블리 기술이 등장하면서 기존 네이티브 환경에서 구동되던 프로그램들이 웹의 영역에 진입하기 시작하면서 웹이 공유하는 데이터는 이제 VR/AR 콘텐츠, 빅데이터 등 그 범주가 점차 넓어지고, 크기가 거대해지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 브라우저에 종속적이지 않고 독립적으로 동작이 가능한 서비스워커와 웹 브라우저 내에 데이터를 효과적으로 저장할 수 있는 캐시 API를 활용하여 웹 서비스를 사용하는 사용자들에게 웹 콘텐츠를 효과적으로 전달할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다.

Reaction injection molding (RIM) process conditions for polydicyclopentadiene (PolyDCPD) were optimized by using a Box-Behnken design (BBD) from the response surface methodology (RSM). The RIM process parameters, such as smoke time, exotherm time, highest exotherm and PolyDCPD conversion, were tuned by changing the variables (the amount of catalyst, cocatalyst and moderator). Under the optimized condition, the ring-opening metathesis polymerization reaction of dicyclopentadiene did not occur within 100 s, the maximum temperature was reached within 4min, and the polydicyclopentadiene conversion was over 98%. Therefore, dicyclopentadiene could be safely put into the mold in a total cycle time of less than 6min and produce PolyDCPD with mechanical properties sufficient for industry applications.
서비스워커와 해시를 이용한 통신 데이터 소모 감소를 위한 웹 콘텐츠 갱신 알고리즘 설계

The existing web page was downloaded and provided to the user every time the user requested the page. Therefore, if the same page is repeatedly requested by the user, only the download for the same resource is repeated. This is a factor that causes unnecessary consumption of data. We focus on reducing data consumption caused by unnecessary requests between users and servers, and improving content delivery speed. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a caching system and an algorithm that can reduce the data consumption while maintaining the latest cache by comparing the hash value using the hash function that can detect the change of the file requested by the user. 기존 웹 페이지는 사용자가 해당 페이지를 요청할 때 마다 새로운 페이지를 다운로드 받아 사용자에게 제공하였다. 따라서 동일한 페이지를 사용자가 반복해서 요청할 경우 동일한 리소스에 대한 다운로드만을 반복하게 된다. 이는 불필요한 데이터의 소비를 발생시키는 요인이다. 본 논문에서는 사용자와 서버간의 불필요한 요청에 의해 발생하는 데이터의 소모를 감소시키고, 콘텐츠 제공 속도를 향상시키는 대에 초점을 맞추었다. 따라서 이를 방지하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 캐싱 시스템과 사용자가 요청하는 파일의 변경을 감지할 수 있는 해시 함수를 이용한 해시 값의 비교를 통해 항상 최신 캐시를 유지하면서 데이터 소모를 줄일 수 있는 알고리즘에 대하여 논하고, 웹 콘텐츠의 속도 향상을 위한 서비스 워커 기반의 캐싱 시스템을 설계하고 성능을 평가하였다.
