Pentoxiphylline이 가토의 피판 생존에 미치는 영향

Among various proposals for improving skin flap survival, lowering the blood viscosity is known to augment blood flow to the skin. Some authors had reported that lowering the hematocrit by hemodilution was effective in reduction of blood viscosity and improvement of microcirculation for flap survival. Pentoxiphylline, a synthetic xanthine derivative, is a hemorrheologic agent, the action of which is to increase RBC flexibility, to reduce blood viscosity by lowering plasma fibrinogen level, and to inhibit platelet aggregation by releasing prostacyclin. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether pentoxiphylline improves skin flap survival or not, by observing the changes of blood viscosity, transcutaneous oxygen tension and flap survival rate in rabbits. 20 white New Zealand rabbits were divided into 2 groups. 10 were experimental group in which pentoxiphylline was administered intravenously for 2 weeks prior to flap operation and so on. The other 10 rabbits were used as control group. The following results were obtained; 1. Mean blood viscosity, measured at postoperative third day, was 7.64 ± 0.57 centipoise in experimental group, and 8.69 ± 0.49 centipoise in control group. 2. Mean transcutancous PO_2 of normal skin in rabbits, measured preoperatively, was 55.40 ± 10.17 mmHg in experimental group, and 50.40 ± 7.72 mmHg in control group. 3. Mean transcutaneous PO_2 of flaps, measured at postoperative third day, was 24.45 ± 6.52 mmHg in experimental group, and 22.50 ± 4.22 mmHg in control group. 4. Mean flap survival rate at postoperative fifth day was 50.90 ± 6.98% in experimental group, and 44.20 ± 6.25% in control group.

The studies on abundance and vertical microdistribution of drosophilid flies were made at the campus of Cheju National University in Cheju (Quel-part) Island in 1984. Flies were collected at five different heights in a rocky streamside evergreen forest for seven or ten days each in May, September, and October, using fermented fruit bait traps (the "retaininer" type I ; Toda 1977 a). The total sample consists of 1,604 flies and 19 species belong to 2 gene-ra. One species (D.pseudosorda)is new to the island. The predominant species was D. immigrans (43.8%). D. corana (35.1 %). and D. angularis (29.5%) in May, September, and October respectively. Many species were observed rather in autum than in spring and the number of abdant species was the greatest in October. Most species showed upward gradient in vertical distribution and there was no evident seasonal variation with the exception of D. bizonata. In gene-ral, ahudant spcies showed downward gradient in May and upward gradient in October though D. lacertosa showed distinct downward gradient, which was collected only in October. A high percentage of females was observed in D. immigrans and D. co-racina in May and October respecitively. It was not determined that the sex-ratio distortion if caused by the female sex-ratio condition. The sex-ratio was significantly different (P<0.05 to 0.001) with vertical heights in D.lutescens and D. autaria in Mary, in D. immigrans in September, and in D. coracina and D. suzukii in October. From the results it was assumed that the breeding sites provided in autum are favorable to many species and those are the principal factors even though studies on feeding sites are not provided from this evergreen forest.

Allozyme polymorphisms and linkage disequilibrium were examined at Adh and a- Gpdh locus of 2 natural subpopulations of Drosophila melanogaster, sampled at Sogwipo, Cheju Island in 1986. Both loci have two alleles at appreciable frequencies. Adh^(v) and a- Gpdh^(F) allele frequencies are dominant in both of the subpopulations. Heterozygosities commonly show a tendency to be higher in fall than in spring. Heterozygosity of a -Gpdh is generally higher than that of Adh. Kangjong-dong subpopulation compared to Hogun - dong subpopulation tends to lower heterozygosity of Adh and higher herozygosity of a - pdh. Linkage disequilibrium can be obtained in negative in all case, and is stronger in spring than in fall. It is discussed that the nonrandom associateion of Adh and a -Gpdh is genuine and overdominance and other selection may be the explanation for the maintained linkage disequilibrium.
