한국사회 보수우파 안티페미니즘의 담론과 실천: ‘20대 남성’과 보수개신교 안티페미니즘을 중심으로

이 글은 지난 수년간 한국사회에서 주류정치적 실천으로 부상한 두 종류 안티페미니즘 담론과 실천에서 나타나는 보수우파 정치학의 성격을 탐색한다. 이 글에서 각각 신자유주의적 안티페미니즘과 전통주의적 안티페미니즘으로 구별하는 두 종류의 안티 페미니즘은 성평등과 젠더정치학을 ‘시장’ 질서에 대한 위반과 ‘가족’ 질서에 대한 위협으로 담론화하며, 구조적 차별을 부정하는 ‘이퀄리즘’과 이성애규범성을 자연화는 ‘양성평등’을 페미니즘의 대안으로 제시한다. 안티페미니즘은 페미니즘에 대한 반발 자체로만 정의되기보다는 각각 ‘시장’과 ‘가족’의 영역에서 신자유주의적 시장질서와 재생산적 가족질서를 강화하고자 하는 보수우파 정치학의 담론적 실천과 경합의 과정으로 접근, 탐색, 질문될 필요가 있다. Conservative antifeminism has recently gained prominence in the mainstream politics, marking a new era of backlash in South Korea. This article explores the characteristics of conservative right-wing politics in the Korean society by analyzing two discursive forms of antifeminism – neoliberal antifeminism and traditionalist antifeminism. Whereas neoliebral antifeminism views gender equality as a violation of the “market” order, traditional antifeminism considers feminism a threat to the “family.” Both cases of antifeminism offer an “alternative” to feminism, which are termed either “equalism” or “two-sex equality.” Antifeminism should not be simply understood as a reaction against feminism. Instead, it should be approached and questioned as a discursive practice and contestation in conservative right-wing politics that seek to reinforce the neoliberal market order and reproductive family order. In both cases of antifeminism, conservative politics reclaim gender and sexuality as a new political terrain of conservatism.

In this paper, I examine the discursive politics of Conservative Evangelicals’ anti-LGBTQ campaigns in South Korea that have emerged since the 2000s and expanded ever since by critically engaging with the textual products of anti-LGBTQ campaigns that have proliferated over the last two decades. The Conservative Evangelicals’ anti-LGBTQ campaign, which effectively blocked legislation of the inclusive anti-discrimination law from 2007 and the present through its direct and collective activism against progressive politics, heavily utilizes not only religious discourse but also secular discourses such as anti-communism, pathology, human rights, and feminism. In their view, queer and transgender individuals are not just sinful but also communist-spirited, sex-addicted, abusive of human rights, and brainwashed by gender ideology. Since they equate LGBTQ human rights with the decline of national security, public health, liberal democracy, birth rate, and gender equity, Conservative Evangelicals also represent themselves as the ultimate victim of the LGBTQ human rights movement. Through this discursive practice of both conflating and displacing the religious with the secular, the minority and the majority, the sinful and the criminal, and gender equality and gender binary, Conservative Evangelicals’ anti-LGBTQ campaigns manage to reach out to the non-Christian population who may not possess the same the Christian notion of ‘sin’ but shares the cultural fear of communism, HIV-AIDS, political victimization, and gender ideology. This has paved the way for the counter-movement against LGBTQ human rights movements and women’s movements. As a result, conservative evangelicals have concentrated on gender and sexuality, making it the focal point of contemporary Korean far-right conservatism, thereby influencing the Korean Church to unify against LGBTQ human rights.

Background and objective: An agrovoltaic system is a power generation method applying photovoltaics (PV) to crops cultivated on a farm. Usually, the PV system covers less than 30% of the upper surface of crops on the ground. If the PV system covers the upper layer of the crops, the yield will decrease by 15-20% due to the shading of the PV module. This study was carried out to investigate the effects of red supplemental light-emitting diode (LED) lighting under the PV system on growth and agronomic traits of green onions. Methods: To resolve the issue about decreasing yield, we constructed a 50 kW agrovoltaic system with the red (660 nm peak) LED dimming facility on the farm with 3 different plots for comparison. The 1st was PV + LED (two parts of dimming area: 3 hours and 6 hours). The second was only PV, and the last was a reference for comparison of yield (control plot). We transplanted uniform seedlings of green onions on three areas of the farm on June 23, 2020. We used red LED lighting for 3 hours and 6 hours after sunset and harvested green onions on October 25, 2020. We used less than 1% of electricity of total power generated by the agrovoltaic system for supplemental LED lighting. Results: The result of harvesting under the agrovoltaic system with 3 hours of lighting showed that there was 38% more yield than the control plot. We also discovered the optimal amount of supplemental LED lighting because even 6 hours of lighting were not better than 3 hours. Conclusion: Applying supplemental LED lighting after sunset can compensate for the yield decrease. The LED supplemental lighting for 3 hours is optimal for crop harvest. We expect that this system can be helpful to farmers who want to construct an agrovoltaic system.

This paper optimizes the combination of design parameters for improving the kinematic characteristics of a midsize truck using bothdesign of experiment and computer simulation. A computational model of the front suspension and steering system of a midsize truck isdeveloped for analyzing kinematic and compliance characteristics. A taper leaf spring is modeled as a flexible body using finite elements. A bump mode test is performed to validate the reliability of the developed computational model. Mean absolute values of the toe angleand wheel base change are used as objective functions. Modifiable hard points are selected as design parameters. An optimal combinationof design parameters for improving kinematic characteristics is suggested based on analyses of variance and factor effects using atable of orthogonal arrays.
