기능기처리된 다공성 카본재료를 이용한 리튬-황전지의 특성 분석

리튬이차전지의 한계점에 대한 극복 방안으로 리튬이차전지의 물질 및 성능 자체에 대한 개선과 더불어 소듐이차전지, 리튬황전지와 같은 새로운 대안으로서의 배터리 연구가 최근 성장세를 보이고 있다. 특히, 리튬황전지는 그 연구가 매우 활발하여 지고 있으며, 산학간의 협력도 긴밀하게 이루어지고 있음에 따라 리튬황전지의 단점인 짧은 수명 및 급격한 성능저하 현상이 많은 부분 극복되고 있다. 특히, 리튬황전지는 기존의 리튬이온전지에 비하여 높은 용량을 구현할 수 있기 때문에, 장기성능의 안정성을 구현하게 되면 충분히 차세대 이차전지로서 제 역할을 다 할 것이라 기대되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 리튬황전지의 주요 성능 저하의 원인은 리튬황전지의 구동 중 필수적으로 일어나는 전해질로의 황분해이다. 이와 같은 황의 분해는 상대 전극인 리튬 표면에 황의 재흡착을 일으킴으로써 황의 유실과 리튬전극의 불순물에 의한 성능 저하를 발생시킨다. 이에 따라 최근 다공성 탄소 소재를 이용하여 황을 다공성 카본 내에 저장하고, 황의 유실을 최소화시키는 방법이 많이 연구되고 있다. 특히, 다공성 카본의 capillary force 뿐 만 아니라, 다공성 표면과 황의 직접적인 흡착을 유도함으로써 그 손실을 줄이는 방법을 연구하고 있다. 이에 따라, 본 연구에서는 표면에 기능기 처리된 카본재료를 사용하여 황의 유실을 최소화시키려고 하였다.

In order to observe the pattern forming of copper plate and chemical corrosion reaction, a study on the effect of the process parameters on the formation of micro-pattern by a photochemical etching of copper plate was carried out. The results are as follows : 1) Etching rate increases as the concentration of etchant increases under the regular condition of the temperature by the increasing of diffusion rate to surface. 2) Etching rate increases as the temperature of etchant increases by the fast acting of the material delivery of diffusion to surface under the regular condition of concentration. 3) It was found that etching speed increases as the material delivery of convection rising increased when the aeration speed of etchant increases. This result was from the fact acted by the material delivery of convection rising rather than material delivery of diffusion to the surface.

A study has been made on the behavior of microscopic fatigue crack growth at the stress level of the fatigue limit with ferrite-martensitic structures. For the above purpose, two types of the microstructures were prepared ; one is the microstructure having the ferrite encapsulating the islands of second phase martensite(FEM), the other is the microstructure with the martensite encapsulating the islands of ferrite(MEF). It has been pointed out that the fatigue limits of these microstructures are related to the critical stress at which the microcrack in the MEF microstructure in which the critical crack length would be restricted within the second phase spacing in contrast with the FEM microstruture. However, the fatigue tests shows that no appreciable difference of the fatigue limits among them were recognized. Also, it turned out from the metallographic observations that the micro crack path is very much affected by the microstructures, so that the microcracks grow according to the 3-dimentional situation of its microstructures.

Low cycle fatigue life of spheroidal graphite cast iron is determined by the morphological parameters of internal graphite. The aim of this study is to clarify the effect of the number of nodular grain of spheroidal graphite cast iron on low cycle fatigue life. Two specimens that have identical average nodular grain size by changing nodular grain volume fraction and different number of nodular grain count was tested. In this paper, the parameter governing fatigue life through fatigue test, the number of nodular grain seriously affect fatigue life and nodular grain size is no longer governing parameter of it.
산성안개가 내후성강재의 녹형성 및 피로강도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of acid fog on the rust formation behavior of weathering steel (SMA50) which is used in uncoated bridges. Weathering steel didn't form the passive film under the environment of acid fog(pH5,6), whereas the environment of distilled water formed the protective oxide film. Therefore, the construction of weathering steel under the environment extremely exposed to SOx and NOx which are the main compositions of acid fog is not adequate. Fatigue limits of weathering steel under acid fog environment are remarkably decreased as compared with environment of distilled water. The corrosive constituents in acid fog has piled up the corrosion products on specimen surface and generated the corrosion pits. Because of the high stress concentration arising at this corrosion pit, relatively low fatigue limits were obtained for acid fog specimens.
SNCM강의 피로균열의 발생 및 전파속도에 미치는 질화처리의 영향

Effect of nitriding on fatigue crack imtiation and growth rate has been studied on SNCM. Specunens were nitnded for 15 hr at 860℃. The fatigue limit of nitrided specunens was superior to that of annealed(860℃. 15 hr) specimens. Based on detailed observations of slip band and micro crack initiation, it is concluded that the excellent fatigue limit of nitrided specunens is attnbuted to improved slip initiation resistance by nitriding The charactenstic of fatigue crack growth rate of nitrided specimens was investigated and compared with those of annealed specunens It was found that by nitriding the crack growth rate was markedly decreased and the threshold stress intensity factor range was improved. It is concluded that the excellent fatigue limit of nitnded specunens is also attributed to unproved fatigue crack growth rate and threshold stress intensity factor range by nitriding
