        다문화 배경 학습자의 한국어 정체성 교육 방향 - 현상학적 생태 체계론(PVEST)을 바탕으로 -

        이 연구의 목적은 다문화 배경 학습자의 한국어 정체성 교육 방향을 모색하는 것이다. 특히 ‘현상학적 생태 체계론’을 도입하여 한국어 정체성 형성 교육의 가능성을 가늠해 보고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저, 한국어 교육에서 정체성 관련 논의를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 Norton(2000)을 중심으로 사회·이념적 정체성이 논의되었으나, 학습자의 생활 세계에 대한 정체성 논의가 부족함을 확인하였다. 다음으로, 이를 극복하기 위해 현상학적 생태 체계론을 살피고 다문화 배경 학습자로 적용하였다. Spencer(2008)의 PVEST 과정 모형을 바탕으로, ‘언어학습의 기반 조건 ⇄ 언어·문화적 긴장 경험 ⇄ 언어·문화적 대응 전략 ⇄ 발현적 언어 정체성 ⇄ 삶으로서의 언어 정체성’이라는 언어 정체성 형성 과정을 제시하였다. 끝으로, 이러한 언어 정체성 형성 과정에 따른 한국어 교육 내용 구성의 가능성을 엿보기 위해, 한국어 교육과정에 대한 검토를 바탕으로 한국어 정체성 형성을 위한 학습 활동을 구안해 보았다. The purpose of this study is to explore directions for Korean language identity education for learners from multicultural backgrounds. Specifically, the study adopts the Phenomenological Variant of Ecological Systems Theory(PVEST) to assess the potential of identity formation education within Korean language education. To this end, It first examines previous discussions on identity in Korean language education, revealing that although socio-ideological aspects, mainly based on Norton(2000), have been addressed, there is insufficient focus on learners’ lived experiences. In response, PVEST is proposed as a theoretical framework and applied to learners from multicultural backgrounds. Based on Spencer(2008) process model, a five-stage Korean language identity formation process is presented: (1) foundational conditions for language learning, (2) experiences of linguistic and cultural tension, (3) coping strategies, (4) emergent language identity, and (5) language identity as a way of life. Finally, this study suggests instructional activities to support Korean language identity formation, grounded in a review of the national Korean language curriculum.

        데이터 과학 기반 한국어 쓰기 학습자의 AI 활용 태도 분석 방향 -쓰기 과정에 따른 태도 척도 개발을 중심으로-

        이 연구는 데이터 과학을 기반으로 한국어 쓰기 학습자의 AI 활용 태도를 분석하는 방향을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 특히 한국어 학습자의 쓰기 과정별 AI 활용 태도를 측정할 수 있는 척도 문항 개발에 집중하고자한다. 이를 위해 먼저 기존 한국어 쓰기 교육에서 AI 관련 논의 경향을 점검하였다. AI 활용과 인식으로 대별되는 한국어 쓰기 교육의 논의 경향에서, 학습자의 태도에 대한 체계적 논의가 부족함을 확인하였다. 다음으로 다음 데이터 과학을 기반으로 한 AI 활용 태도의 분석 방법을 살펴보았다. 데이터 과학 관련 분야에서 논의되어 온 태도의 인지, 정의, 행동요소를 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로 한국어 쓰기 과정별 AI 활용 태도 척도를 개발하였다. 구체적으로 계획하기, 생성하기, 조직하기, 표현하기, 고쳐쓰기의 쓰기 단계별로 각각 인지, 정의, 행동 요소에 따른 AI 활용 태도의 척도 문항을 제안하였다. Journal of the International Network for Korean Language and Culture 22-2, 1-26. This study explored a way for analyzing Korean writing learners’ attitudes toward AI use based on data science. It focused on developing scale items to measure Korean learners' attitudes toward AI use at each stage of the writing process. This study first examined trends in existing discussions on AI in Korean writing education. It identified a lack of systematic research on learners’ attitudes within the prevailing discourse, which is broadly divided into the perception and use of AI. Subsequently, the study reviewed analytical methods to determine attitudes toward AI based on data science, confirming cognitive, affective, and behavioral components as key elements of attitude. Accordingly, this study developed an attitude scale for each stage of the Korean-writing process, specifically proposing scale items reflecting cognitive, affective, and behavioral elements across the stages of planning, generating, organizing, expressing, and revising.         다문화 현상에 관한 국어 의식 교육의 가능성 - 비판적 언어인식의 관점을 바탕으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to figure out a possibility of Korean language awareness education for the multi-cultural phenomenon on a basis of critical language awareness. To accomplish this purpose, this study finds out a relationship between Korean language awareness education and the multicultural phenomenon. Korean language awareness educational contents could be arranged by the studies of critical language awareness. And then, this study grasps the text types representing the multi-cultural phenomenon as an object of the critical language awareness. These text types could be systematized not by traditional text categorization but by the tendency of the awareness of language users. Finally, this study suggests an example of Korean language awareness for the multi-cultural phenomenon as the educational contents by the critical analyzing the newspaper texts. Especially, this study shows a way of the awareness by analyzing texts which has the related vocabulary, “mutli-culture”.

        비판적 언어 연구와 국어교육: 쟁점과 전망

        The purpose of this study is to reflect on the issues and directions in overcoming critical language research conducted in Korean language education. To accomplish this aim, this study first defined the scope and areas of critical language research. By drawing on "Critical discourse analysis(by Norman Fairclough)" and "Ecolinguistics(by Arran Stibbe)", "language that represents power imbalances" as the subject and "focus on topics and awareness" as the area are categorized. Next, this study examined the issues in critical language research within Korean language education. It categorized these as "critical discourse analysis and critical acceptance," "critical language awareness and Korean language consciousness," and "cognitive semantics and vocabulary use education." It identified key issues and challenges within these categories. This study is significant in forming the boundaries of "critical Korean language education theory," which involves learners interpreting texts from their own perspectives and exploring the world shaped by the text.

        '틀 의미론'의 어휘 교육적 적용 - 신문 텍스트의 어휘 타당성 탐구를 실제로 -

        The purpose of this study is to find out a way for lexical educational application of frame semantics. It would look for a nexus between frame semantics and lexical education, and weigh up the teaching & learning practice for inquiring the lexicon’s validity in newspaper texts. To accomplish this purpose, this study investigates the concept and the inquiring principles of the lexicon’s meaning of frame semantics at first. Frame semantics aims to inquiry the lexicon’s meaning focusing on the frame which is an integration of the human’s conceptual background knowledge. The inquiring principles are specified by steps for “motivation of the meaning and frame”, “trigger words and evoked frames”, “frame elements and profiling”, “intention awareness from the frame”. And then, this study looks for a nexus between frame semantics and the valuable lexical using education. The educational contents of the valuable lexical use is categorized to “understand systemicity of the lexicon”, “utilize appropriateness of the lexicon use”, “be aware validity of the using lexicon”. It could set the ways to construct educational contents of the valuable lexical use based on frame semantics responding with inquiring principles of frame semantics to each category. Those are “inquiring the meaning and relations of the lexicon based on the frame”, “inquiring foregrounds and backgrounds of lexical meanings utilizing the profiling of frame elements”, “inquiring the value and ideology of the world originated in the lexicon from finding out intentions of the lexicon’s frame”. At the end, this study makes the teaching & learning steps and following learner’s performing activities for inquiring the lexicon’s validity in newspaper texts. From this practice, it could confirm the authenticity of the lexical educational contents for learners to understand a newspaper text, to search trigger words and analyzing frames, to be aware an intention of the newspaper text. This study has a meaning to draw up the lexical educational plan to cultivate the critical awareness for the world represented in the lexicon.

        공공언어 교육으로서 타당한 어휘 사용 교육의 방안 - 공공 어휘의 타당성 탐구를 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to explore a way to valid vocabulary education as public language education. To accomplish this purpose, this study first established categories for vocabulary usage in public language education. This study categorized accurate, appropriate, and valid vocabulary using based on different areas of vocabulary education within public language education. And then, this study developed the content for valid vocabulary education and created a pathway for its implementation in public language education. The content of valid vocabulary education was found to involve understanding the conceptualization of vocabulary, exploring the expressive intent and effects evident in vocabulary selection, and recognizing the socio-cultural characteristics reflected in vocabulary. Lastly, this study designed instructional content to investigate the validity of public vocabulary using. It was determined that public vocabulary education primarily examines the validity of specialized terminology used in official documents. Based on this, the research proposed a learning activity to explore the validity of legal vocabulary used in a news article.

        생태학적 관점과 한국어 교육에의 적용

        The purpose of this study is to organize the ecological perspectives in the language education, and to seek for a way to apply it to Korean education. To accomplish this aims, aspects of academic developments of the ecology are arranged. The core concept of the ecological perspectives is the “relationship”. And then, researches oriented to the ecological perspectives in Korean language education are checked by categories the aims, the contents, and the implementations. On a basis of these researches, study discourses of the ecological perspectives in Korean education are suggested. Those are “the sustainable communicative competence of Korean learners”, “the relationships among the implementation elements in Korean education”, “ecolinguistics and the critical discourse studies” for the “ecological Korean education”. 이 연구는 언어 교육에서 생태학적 관점을 정리하고, 이를 한국어 교육으로 적용하는 방향을 강구하는 것을 목적으로 둔다. 이를 위해 먼저 생태학의 학적 발전 양상을 정리하였다. 특히 생태학적 관점의 핵심이 ‘관계성’이라는 사실을 파악하였다. 그런 다음 한국어 교육의 인접 학문인 국어교육에서 생태학적 관점을 표방한 연구를 목표론, 내용론, 실행론의 범주에서 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 한국어 교육에서 생태학적 관점의 연구 담론을 제안하였다. ‘생태학적 한국어 교육’을 위하여 ‘한국어 학습자의 지속가능한 의사소통 능력 연구’, ‘한국어 교육의 실행 요소 간 관계성 연구’, ‘생태언어학과 비판적 담화 연구’ 등이 유의미함을 확인하였다.

        에듀테크를 활용한 문법 학습 공간의 확장

        The purpose of this study is to estimate an extension possibility of the grammar learning space utilizing the edu-tech. To accomplish this aim, the grammar learning space’s components were investigated by Bronfenbrenner(1979)’s Ecological system which is a concept of the eductional learning space. And then, the nexus of the edu-tech utilizing and the grammar education was confirmed by current discusses related to the edu-tech in the general pedagogy, Korean language education, and Korean as a foreign language education. Above all, the fact that the nexus of edu-tech and the grammar educational contents is very important was apprehended for applying the edu-tech into the grammar education wholly. Based on these discussions, a possibility of an extension of the grammar learning space utilizing the edu-tech was estimated by combining the framing theory with big data such as the generative AI in the valuable vocabulary using education. This study has a meaning to find out an intentional figure of the grammar education working in the grammar learning space with the edu-tech.
