경기도 광릉의 국립수목원 내의 토양과 빛 환경이 서로 다른 낙엽활엽수림과 전나무림에서 하층식생으로 생육하는 까치박달의 자원의 획득과 이용 및 분배를 이해하기 위하여, 잎의 질소와 인 농도의 계절 변화와 재전류, 엽록소와 LMA를 조사하였다. 엽면적 지수가 상대적으로 낮은 낙엽활엽수림은 유입되는 광량이 많았고, 전반적인 토양 양분의 수준이 양호하였으나, 유효인산의 농도는 전나무림의 1/3 수준으로 현저히 낮았다. 이로 인해, 낙엽활엽수림에서 생육하는 까치박달의 경우, 잎의 인 농도가 전나무림의 까치박달 보다 연중 낮았고, 재전류율은 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 토양 내 질소 농도는 상대적으로 낙엽활엽 수림에서 높았으나, 계절별 잎의 질소농도와 질소의 재전류율은 임분간의 유의적 차이는 없었다. 빛의 유입이 적은 전나무림에서는 까치박달의 LMA와 엽면 적당 질소 분배가 상대적으로 낮았으며, 또한 엽록소 a/b율은 낮고, 총 엽록소 함량은 높여 질소에 대한 엽록소의 비율이 높았다. 이러한 결과는 임분 조건이 서로 다른 낙엽활엽수림과 전나무림에서 생육하는 까치박달이 주어진 토양과 빛 환경에 순응하여 양분의 동태와 분배의 전략적 차이를 달리하여 생육하고 있음을 시사한다. This study aimed to understand the nutrient absorption, usage and allocation of Carpinus cordata in different soil and light environments. Seasonal changes of foliar nitrogen, phosphorous, chlorophyll contents, leaf mass per area (LMA) and nutrient retranslocation rates were investigated for C. cordata saplings growing in a natural deciduous broadleaved forest and an Manchurian fir (Abies holophylla) plantation in Gwangneung, Kyunggido. The deciduous forest had lower leaf area, higher light penetration, and better soil fertility than the Manchurian fir forest. However, available soil phosphorous content in the deciduous forest was only one third of that in the Manchurian fir forest, which caused lower foliar phosphorous content and higher P retranslocation rate of C. cordata in the deciduous forest than that in the Mancurian fir forest. Soil nitrogen contents in the deciduous forest were higher than that in the Manchurian fir forest, however, no differences in foliar nitrogen content and retranslocation rate in C. cordata between the two stands were found. C. cordata in the Manchurian fir forest with high LAI throughout a year, had lower LMA, foliar nitrogen content and chlorophyll a/b, while had higher total chlorophyll content and chlorophyll/N than that in the deciduous forest. These results implied C. cordata under different environments are using different strategies for nutrient use and allocations.
건강운동참여자의 기본심리욕구와 운동결과기대가 운동지속의도에 미치는 영향

This study examines the relationship between basic psychological needs, exercise outcome expectation, and exercise adherence intention in COVID-19 environment, and verifies the mediating effect of exercise outcome expectation. For this purpose, self-administration method was applied to 267 exercise participants for more than 3 months since COVID-19, and collected data were analyzed by IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0 and AMOS 21.0 according to the purpose of this study. The result is as follows. Competence was significant between men and women. In terms of age, physical exercise outcome expectation was statistically significant. According to the type of exercise participation(online, offline, online and offline), competence and social exercise outcome expectation were significant. The mediating effect of exercise outcome expectation was verified in the relationship between the three factors (autonomy, competance, and relatedness) of basic psychological needs. Offline exercise participation had a higher level of satisfaction than online participation in terms of competence, relatedness, and social exercise outcome expectation. Nevertheless, the online exercise program partially maintained the level of participants basic psychological needs or exercise outcome expectation. If the online exercise program is properly organized to maintain basic psychological needs and exercise outcome expectation, participants can continue exercise without drop-out and be less affected by environmental change.

This article writes about a murder case which had taken place in Seoul in the end of the 19th century, which led to the loss of the Asian instrument Pipa, which exists along with the history of the Korean Peninsula and is a major subject of study in musical culture, the formation of a musical community and the history of cultural exchange on world music.

이 글은 드리타라스트라의 무가지보로 고려의 악기였던 비파가 처음 나타나기 시작한 고려시대에 건립된 사천왕상 중 현재 전라도와 강원도 지역에 존재하는 비파의 악기 도상을 연구고찰한 것이다. 첫째, 고려비파의 구조는 모두 4현으로 굽은 짧은 목과 3~4플렛을 갖고 있어 악기의 음악적 공동체는 중국 복건성 복건남음에서 전승되고 있는 악기인 남음비파계열에 속한다. 둘째, 드리타라스트라의 연주자세를 악기의 위치, 연주기법 등으로 나누어 분석하고 이를 통해 고려비파의 연주형식과 맥락을 도출하였다. 전라남도 고흥 능가사와 전라남도 장흥 보림사의 고려비파는 입식행악 형식, 전라남도 영광 불갑사와 전라북도 완주 송광사는 좌식의악 형식이며, 강원도 홍천 수타사 고려비파의 경우 악기도상이 병기이자 의식의 중요도구임을 상징한다. This article explores the iconography of Pipa the musical instrument which are currently existed in the Jeolla-do and Gangwon-do regions among the statues of the Four Heavenly Kings built in the Goryeo Dynasty, when the pipa of a Korean musical instruments first began to appear as a treasure of Dhṛtarāṣṭra. First, the structure of the Goryeo pipa is all 4-stringed which has a curved short neck with 3 to 4 frets, so it’s musical community belongs to the Nanyin pipa, which is being passed down in Fujian Nanyin, Fujian Province, China. Second, the performing posture of Dhṛtarāṣṭra was analyzed by dividing it into categories such as the position of the instrument and performance technique, and through this, the performance form and context of the Goryeo Pipa were derived. The Dhṛtarāṣṭraof Neungsa Temple in Goheung, Jeollanam-do and the Dhṛtarāṣṭra of Borimsa Temple in Jangheung, Jeollanam-do are a form of standing performing music, while the Dhṛtarāṣṭra of Bulgapsa Temple in Yeonggwang, Jeollanam-do and the Dhṛtarāṣṭra of Songgwangsa Temple in Wanju, Jeollabuk-do are a form of seated performing music, and in the case of the Goryeo Pipa from Sutasa Temple in Hongcheon, Gangwon, it symbolizes a armoury and a tool for performing ritual.

광릉숲, 태화산, 가리왕산 활엽수림에서 낙엽에 의한 수종별 엽면적지수 추정

광릉숲, 태화산 서울대 학술림, 가리왕산의 낙엽활 엽수림에서 연간 낙엽·낙지 생산량과 가을철 낙엽에 의한 수종별 엽면적지수를 산출하고, 간접적인 방법의 것과 비교하였다. 연간 낙엽·낙지 생산량은 천이 단계 증가에 따른 임분의 바이오매스 축적량이나 수종 구성 등에 따라 그 양과 비율이 다르게 나타났으며(Table 2), 특히 수종마다 낙엽의 양에 차이는 있지만 모든 임분에서 여름철 이후에 집중되는 경향을 보여(Fig. 1), 가을철의 한시적인 낙엽 수집만으로도 최대엽면적지수의 추정은 유효한 것으로 나타났다. 더욱이, 이러한 낙엽의 수집으로 낙엽의 양 뿐만 아니라 수종마다 SLA와 탈락시기를 정확하게 추정할 수 있었고 (Table 3), 간접방법으로는 불가능하기 때문에 국내에서는 시도되지 않았던 각 수종별 엽면적지수를 국내 최초로 산출 할 수 있었다(Fig. 2). 본 연구를 통하여 수종별 낙엽량과 엽면적지수는 각 수종의 흉고단면적과 유의한 상관관계를 보였으나, 간접방법에 의한 전체 엽면 적지수를 흉고단면적의 비율을 곱하여 수종별 엽면적지수로 추정하는 것은 상당한 오차가 발생할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다(Fig. 3). 또한 간접방법에 의한 엽면적지수는 잎의 양이 늘고 밀집도가 높아질수록 과소평가되는 오류가 발생하기 쉽기 때문에(Fig. 4, 5), 직접방법에 의한 엽면적지수와의 평가는 필수적임을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서, 낙엽에 의한 직접적인 엽면적지수의 측정을 시도함으로써 다양한 수종이 공존하는 우리나라 온대 활엽수림에서 임분의 수종 구성과 밀도, 천이단계, 입지환경 등에 따른 낙엽량과 수종별 엽면적지수의 변화 양상을 정량적으로 확인 할 수 있었다. Annual litterfall production and leaf area index (LAI, m2/m2) were estimated using litter traps in Gwangneung, Mt. Taewha and Mt. Gariwang. Annual total litter fall production including branch, bark, others was the highest in Gwangneung(7497.3±326.5 kg/ha/yr), which had the highest basal area at late successional stage, and followed by Mt. Taewha(5929.1±225.8 kg/ha/yr) and Mt. Gariwang(3,210.1±220.1 kg/ha/yr). Mt. Gariwang had the lowest litterfall production due to high elevation and short growing season even with the higher stand density and basal area than Mt. Taewha. Similarly, LAI, which was calculated by multiplying the mass of leaf litter with specific leaf area, was the highest in Gwangneung(5.99±0.69) and followed by Mt. Taewha(5.20±0.24) and Mt. Gariwang(4.06±0.42) and the upper canopy species had the highest leaf area index in every sites (Gwangneung : 4.72, Mt. Taewha : 3.08, Mt. Gariwang : 2.19). However, species specific LAI estimation based on the relationship between basal area and leaf area was limited due to upper canopy species non-proportionality of basal area with LAI. In addition, the comparison between direct and indirect LAI measurement showed the importance of canopy clumping, especially at high density. Our study emphasized the necessity of direct LAI measurement using litter fall traps especially at temperate deciduous forest with diverse species.
실외 실험적 온난화 및 강수 처리에 따른 소나무와 낙엽송 유묘의 초기 생장 특성

This study aimed to investigate the effects of climate change on the survival and growth performance of Pinus densiflora and Larix kaempferi seedlings using open-field experimental warming and precipitation manipulation. We measured the survival rate, root-collar diameter, and height, and then calculated the seedling quality index (SQI) of 2-year-old seedlings under 6 treatments [2 temperatures (TC: Control; TW: Warming) × 3 precipitation manipulations (PC: Control; PD: Decreased; PI: Increased)] and performed a two-way ANOVA to test for differences.The air temperature of the warming plots was 3°C higher than that of the control plots, while the precipitation manipulation plots received ±40% of the precipitation received by the control plots. Temperature and precipitation treatments did not significantly affect the survival rate of P. densiflora; however, the SQI of P. densifloradecreased with increasing precipitation. In contrast, the mortality rate of L. kaempferi increased with increasing temperature and decreasing precipitation. Furthermore, in L. kaempferi, TC × PI treatment resulted in the lowest SQI with a significant interaction effect observed between the two factors. In summary, low seedling production and quality should be expected in P. densiflora as precipitation increases and in L. kaempferi as temperature increases or precipitation decreases. These results indicate species-specific sensitivities to climate change of two plant species at the nursery stage. With the occurrence of global warming, the frequencies of drought and heavy rainfall events are increased, and this could affect the survival and seedling quality of tree species. Therefore, it is necessary to improve nursery techniques by establishing new adaptation strategies based on species-specific growth performance responses. 1

The aim of the current study is to examine the effects of mothers home management ability on school-aged childrens time and life management skills through the mediation effect of childrens self-regulation. Study subjects were 317 5- and 6-grade children at elementary schools located in Seoul and Gyeonggi area and their 317 mothers. The findings were as follows. First, in the SEM model of predicting childrens time management skill, greater mothers home management ability significantly predicted better time management skills among their children. Second, mothers home management ability also indirectly affected childrens time management skill through its significant effects on childrens self-regulation. The test yielded a significantly mediation effect of self-regulation. Childrens self-regualtion was strongly related to time management skills. Third, in the SEM model predicting childrens life management skills, maternal ability of home management again directly predicted greater life management skills of their children. However, mediation of self-regulation was not statistically significant. The findings suggested the important role of mothers home management ability in instilling and modeling self-regulation and self-management skills of school-aged children.
