간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스와 자아존중감의 관계에서 눈치의 매개효과

Purpose: This study aimed to examine the relationship among clinical practice stress, self-esteem, and nun-chi in student nurses, and to determine whether nun-chi could mediate the relationship between clinical practice stress and self-esteem. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive design was used. A total of 153 student nurses who have experienced clinical practice in Korea participated. The clinical practice stress scale for nursing students, nun-chi scale, and self-esteem scale were used to quantify participants’ responses. Results: Our results revealed that clinical practice stress have significant negative correlations with nun-chi and self-esteem (r=-.19, p=.016, r=-.24, p=.003), and nun-chi and self-esteem have a significant positive correlation (r=-.47, p<.001). Furthermore, nun-chi (β=.44, p<.001) had a significant partial mediating effect on the relationship between clinical practice stress and self-esteem (Z=-2.19, p=.028). Conclusion: Developing and implementing appropriate nun-chi programs are critical for improving self-esteem affected by clinical practice stress among student nurses.
