한국어 교사의 교수법 적용 및 성장 경험에 대한 질적 연구

본 연구는 한국어 교육에서 특히 교사가 교수법을 어떻게 적용하고, 그러한 현장에서 교사들이 어떤 현상과 어려움을 경험하는지 분석함으로써 한국어 교수법 제고에 있어서 시사점과 발전적인 방향을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 교수법 관련(‘교육과정과 습득 세미나’) 과목을 대학원 과정에서 수강하며, 실제 한국어 교육 경험이 최소 3년 이상인 교사 17명을 대상으로 심층 면접을 실시하였고, 근거 이론을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 한국어 교사들은 교수법을 적용하면서 해당 교실에서 상당한 딜레마를 겪고, 수업 자체와 교사 스스로에 대한 한계마저 경험하고 있었다. 하지만 계속적으로 자신이 이상적인 교수자의 모습을 닮아 가기를 추구하고 한국어 교사로서 의미 있는 순간을 경험해 나가며 전문적 역량을 강화해 나가고, 경험이 쌓이면서 전문적 특성이 발달하고 있음을 발견할 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 도출된 결과를 기반으로 차후 한국어 교사들이 실제 교육 현장에서 적용할 수 있는 교수법 개발을 위한 시사점과 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 논할 수 있었다. The purpose of this study is to find a direction of improvement in Korean language teaching methods by analyzing how Korean language instructors apply teaching methods, and what kind of phenomenon and difficulty they experience in the field. For the study, while taking a graduate-level course related to pedagogy (Education process and acquisition seminar), I cond ucted an in-depth interview with 17 instructors who have more than 3 years of experiences in Korean language teaching and an alyzed them based on the grounded theory. Based on the analy sis, Korean language instructors were going through significant dilemmas on applying teaching methods(grammar) in the class room and facing the limits of the course while realizing their own limits. Nevertheless, they have pursued to a goal of being an ideal role model as a teacher and strengthened professional capabilities experiencing meaningful moments as a Korean lang uage instructor, thereby developed professional qualities based on their experiences. Thus, the study provided implications for the development of teaching methods that could be applied to th e field of Korean language education in the future and a prop osal of follow-up studies based on the derived results.
이주민들의 사회통합프로그램 이수 경험에 관한 내러티브 탐구

Through the in-depth investigation of the immigrant’s experience in completing the Korean Immigration and Integration Program (KIIP), the study aimed to gain suggestions in searching for the direction of future improvements. To achieve this goal, the study researched and analyzed the experience of the learners, who have completed up till level 5, while regarding it as a‘narrative’. According to the main results of the analysis, first of all, the marriage immigrants and the immigrant workers differed in how they were introduced to the program by‘love’and‘work’. Secondly, the satisfaction about the program was relatively higher for the immigrant workers, who had less opportunity to receive other education programs and less chance to meet a Korean in person, than the marriage immigrants. Thirdly, the common struggle of both groups was the time in completing the program. Fourthly, the results showed that the demands for additional learning were high in cultural aspects, and especially in terms of level 5 of Korean Text book for KIIP, systematic analysis was required in the ways to select and suggest the relevant components from the textbook composition while satisfying the principle of goals and the language level. Lastly, in the case of the immigrant workers, there was a high demand for the measures such as those for the development of practice problems for grammar usage, tasks for encouraging speaking, and they all had common demands for the advertisement of the program and the management plan that utilizes the‘teacher’factor. In this manner, the study was able to deduct several meaningful results and suggestions for the improvement of KIIP. (Ewha Womans University)
