Dynamic Analysis of Hybrid Wind Power Composite Blades according to Stacking Properties Method

The purpose of this study is to supply an analysis tool for Buckling Analysis and Modal Analysis on hybrid blade for large wind turbine by using Finite Element Analysis. Equivalent Property Method, in which a single ply is assumed according to Classical Lamination Theory, and Stacking Property Method, in which the stacking order and the thickness are considered,was applied to conduct Finite Element Analysis. In addition, glass-epoxy and carbon-epoxy, the two materials applied to the shear web and the spar cap to make blades lighter, were used to compare the analysis results. Therefore, it is regarded efficient that rather than inconvenient employing Equivalent Property Method to find out equivalent properties every time, it would be better to use Stacking Property Method because the input is intuitive and various values including various stresses according to different stacking are available. As for Buckling Analysis, Stacking Property Method was employed based on the result of Modal Analysis and Fluid-structure Interaction Analysis was used. Both carbon-epoxy and glass-epoxy showed enough safety factors of the first modal values.

3-부티닐-p-톨루엔술포네이트를 이용한 2-에티닐피리딘의 무촉매중합을 통하여 이온성 전도성 고분자를 합성하였다. 합성 고분자의 분자구조는 IR, NMR, UV-visible 분광분석기로 확인하였다. 공액구조 주사슬 고분자의 특징적인 π → π* 전이에 기인하는 약하면서도 완만한 흡수 피크를 800 nm까지 보여 주었다. 합성한 고분자의 전기화학적 특성과 전기광학 특성을 측정하고 분석하였다. 이 고분자는 도핑과 탈도핑 사이에서 매우 안정한 비가역 전기화학적 거동을 보였다. An ionically conducting polyelectrolyte was prepared via the non-catalyst polymerization of 2-ethynylpyridine using 3-butynyl-p-toluenesulfonate. The chemical structure of polymer which have the conjugated backbone system was characterized by instrumental methods such as IR, NMR, and UV-visible spectroscopies. The characteristic peak of conjugated polymer backbone, broad and weak absorption spectrum of π→ π* interband transition, starts around 800 nm. The electrochemical and electro-optical properties of polymer were also measured and discussed. This polymer exhibited the irreversible electrochemical behaviors between the doping and undoping peaks.
Effect of the flat tank bottom on performance and cavitation characteristics of a cargo pump

A submerged cargo pump is installed vertically above the bottom of a cargo tank. The intake shape of the pump is an important operationparameter. Therefore, we investigated the performance and cavitation characteristics of the cargo pump with intake according tointake shape. A cargo pump was composed of an intake, inducer, impeller, and diffuser. First, a cargo pump with a straight pipe intakewas measured. Next, the cargo pump with an intake applied the tank bottom shape was investigated. The results of performance andefficiency were compared. The flow characteristics in the inducer changed as the flow passed through the intake affected by the tankbottom shape. The pump head and the efficiency slightly decreased, but the inducer head considerably reduced. Since the incidence anglebecame a negative value and the cavity volume increased at the leading edge of inducer, the NPSHr (Required net positive suction head)increased. As the inlet pressure decreased, cavitation instabilities clearly appeared. Different gaps between the pump intake and the tankbottom were also investigated. The gap had a critical point without the significant performance loss decrease.
조선 CIMS를 위한 용접정보 시스템 개발에 관한 연구

용접은 조선공업의 핵심기술의 하나로서 용접작업의 장치화와 자동화를 통한 생산성 향상은 선박의 건조비 절감에 기여하는 바가 크다. 용접의 품질과 생산성은 엔지니어링 부서로부터 제공되는 관련정보의 질과 적합성에 많이 의존한다. 본고는 선박의 설계에서 생산에 이르기까지의 정보를 통합한 조선 CIMS구축에 활용될 수 있는 선박 용접 정보 시스템에 관하여 연구하였다. 이를 위하여 기존 용접정보의 생성과정과 내용을 체계적으로 분석하고 객체지향기법을 적용하여 복잡 다양한 선박의 용접 정보를 모델링 하였다. 또 이들 객체지향 모델을 지원하면서 방대한 양의 선박 용접정보를 신속하고 정확하게 처리하는 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 개발시스템은 산적화물선을 대상으로 하였으며 사건구동 방식의 프로그래밍 기법을 적용하고 그래픽 사용자 환경을 구현하여 사용자의 편의성을 제고하였다. Welding is one of the important technologies in shipbuilding industry. Automation and productivity promotion of welding contribute to the cost saving of ship production. The quality and productivity of welding are dependent on the quality and suitability of technical information supplied by engineering parts. This paper describes the research results of welding information system for ship. The system can be used for the development of CIMS for shipbuilding. For this work, the welding information related to the ship Production were analyzed in detail. Object-oriented technique is applied to represent the complex and various welding information. To process the extend amount of the welding information of ship, database system was constructed. A pilot system for the bulk carrier ship was developed and can be used with ease by programming of event-driven method and implementaion of graphical user interlace.

The pressure hull of submersible is a unique structure which requires sophisti¬cated technology in its design and fabrication aspects. In this contribution an attempt has been made to review and analysis the pressure hull design such the most important subject as various geometrical shape, materials, and strength of pressure hull. Comparative study to theoritical analysis through the experimental measure¬ments are also carried out.
