The purpose of this study is to investigate reaction of foreign students in Korea who are studying on the presentation method using shadowing techniques. In this study, the shadowing technique was used in the course of the students' reactions to the reactions. This study was conducted on 7 learners in a total for 4 days using the shadowing technique. The results shows that the learners had difficulties in the beginning of the exercises and that they were gradually getting to use the techniques in general. Especially, the fact identified in this process that learners have difficulties in pronunciation and words which foreign students don’t know exactly. Therefore, it could be possible to understand clear meaning of words and the use of correct pronunciation to make influence on each other. This means that in order to be used successfully, shadowing techniques should be preceded by shadowing techniques rather than by unconditionally following shadowing techniques. The positive learning effect can be expected in this perspective. This result could be used further for foreign students who want refer to relevant data for practical tools to improve their presentation ability outside the classroom.
Frayer Model 활용 기반 녹음 융합 과제 중심의 한국어 관용표현 교수․학습 전개를위한 시론적 연구 - 초급에 적용한 수업 절차와 방법에 관한 사례를 중심으로-

본 연구는 외국인 유학생들을 위한 관용표현 교수․학습 도구로 Frayer Model 활용 기반 녹음 융합 과제 교수․학습 모형을 충청남도에 소재한 S대학교에서 6개월간 단기 유학중인 외국인 유학생들에게 적용한 수업 사례와 방법을 적용하고 이에 대한 학습자들의 반응을 살펴본 결과를 제시한 것이다. 본 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 교육적 시사점을 얻을 수 있다. 첫째, Frayer Model 활용 기반 녹음 융합 과제는 학습자가 관용표현에 나타난 어휘의 의미를 문화적인 함축적 의미로 받아들여 암기해야 하는 부담을 갖지 않고 자연스럽게 관용표현에 사용된 어휘에 관한 의미들을 유추하는 활동으로 전개되기 때문에 자연스럽게 맥락 중심의 어휘지식 확장과 의미 이해가 가능하고 녹음과제를 통한 한국어 산출이 용이하다. 둘째, 교수․학습 절차와 방법이 시각적 자료와 녹음기 등 멀티미디어 자료를 활용한 활동으로 구성되기 때문에 문화 이해능력과 표현능력 향상을 기대할 수 있다. 셋째, 녹음 과제는 학습자가 반복적으로 녹음 및 수정이 가능한 활동이기 때문에 학습자 스스로 향상된 한국어 관용표현 구어 사용 기술과 능력을 확인할 수 있다. 결론적으로 Frayer Model 활용 기반 녹음 융합 과제는 외국인 유학생들이 관용표현에 대하여 같은 문화적 특수성과 의미적 함축에 대한 부담을 최소화 하고 실제적 맥락에서 사용되는 다양한 관용표현들의 어휘 의미들을 유추하는 활동을 통해 자연스럽게 관용표현 어휘 학습과 문화 이해를 터득할 수 있는 교육적 활용도가 높을 것으로 기대한다.

The purpose of this paper is to present a case study on the use of Voicethread tools applied to research classes and to present a teaching and learning model to students studying at undergraduate foreign students. For this, I examined previous studies and theoretical discussions. And then, based on this process, I presented the principles of teaching and learning. Next, I conducted a research study focusing on the use of Voicethread as a presentation practice methodology applying teaching ․learning models of the 12 foreign students. Through this study, I argue that it provides various implications using Voicethread as a presentation practice tool for the foreign students. First, using Voicethread can be expected oral interaction and improving presentation ability because it freely exchanges and exchanges various information through voice and text chat not only professor and students even among students freely. Second, using Voicethread tools can be helpful to develop the self-directed presentation practice skill because of learner-driven learning procedures and methods. Third, Voicethread can reduce anxiety. Because it is through repetition, modification, and feedback that it is done online between professors and learners. In conclusion, Voicethread is worth using a presentation practice tool for foreign students and CMC methodology realization.
외국인 유학생들을 위한 한국 언어・문화 수업 캡스톤 디자인 수업 설계 방안- 한국인 국어국문학 전공자들 대상으로 적용한 한국어학 강독 수업 사례를 기반으로

The purpose of this study is to propose a teaching methodology of Capstone design on the teaching Korean language and culture of the foreign students. This research was based on the case study of Seminar in Korean reading class applying to the Korean university students who major in Korean Language and Literature in ‘S University’ of Chungcheongnam-do Province during the second semester of 2017. Recently, the importance of self-directed learning has been emphasized in the educational world for the development of creative talents. The use of capstone design has emerged as a result of such changes in the education system, and positive learning effects are mainly emerging in engineering education. In this study was investigated the learner's needs who participated in Seminar in Korean text reading class for Korean native speakers in order to improve the fact that Seminar in Korean text reading class is traditionally focused on reading and learning of language knowledge. Then, we reconstructed the class using multimedia tools according to the needs of learners. In this study, we designed the model 'Capstone Design for Students' Creation'. The important academic interest for foreign learners is to understand the universal emotions of the world by considering the social-cultural context of the target language and culture and the contrast of their own culture. The goal of the lesson is to enhance the capacity of discussion based on literature explore. The lesson was divided into four areas. First, 'visualization experience'. second, 'ability to solve problems through PBL activities'. Third, the ability to cooperate with colleagues. Fourth, it enhances the self expression ability through presentation and discussion activities. The Capstone Design Model developed through this study was designed as a capstone design model applicable to Seminar in Korean text reading class for foreigners. The capstone design model proposed in this study is a new study, which has not been attempted so far. Therefore, the capstone design model can be applied to teaching Korean language and culture in the field of teaching for foreigners education in the future.

This paper examines the future direction of this course through teaching - learning examples of the <Writing and Speaking> class. The contents of teaching - learning were mainly focused on the learning activities and exercises of ≪Creative Writing and Speaking≫ which are used as teaching materials. This textbook was published by the University Press and was developed to be used in all departments without distinction of any kind. It is characterized by the fact that the learner can participate more actively while reorganizing the textbook which was composed mainly of the introduction formula. The learning activities in the ‘Creative thinking and expression’ of the textbook were mainly related to the creativity enhancement. Through this, students can think creatively. This paper examines the future direction of this course through teaching - learning examples of the <Writing and Speaking> class. Learning activities of ‘Words and Words for communication’ can be learning activity that can be practiced according to the procedure of writing, a learning activity that can be used in various ways such as explanatory writing and speaking, persuasive writing and speaking, narrative writing and speaking, descriptive writing and speaking So that the students’ communication capacity could be strengthened. In ‘Practical Writing and Speaking’, after presenting the actual report of the most used in college, it was helpful to students by suggesting ways to utilize various academic materials. In addition, a preparation process for becoming a member of society was suggested by writing a resume or self-introduction. In view of the current trend of writing and speaking education turning toward true communication capacity building, it is necessary to consider the reorganization of the learning activities of textbooks. It was a time to worry about learning activities that could be realized as ‘reading- speaking-writing’. First of all, it is necessary to develop into integrated Liberal-Korean Education by presenting diverse reading materials.
일본인들의 K-뷰티 선호도에 관한 감성언어 분석 ― 일본인들이 이용하는 화장품 관련 SNS의 헤시테그(#) 키워드 번역을 중심으로―

This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of young Japanese peoples’ emotional expressions toward “K-beauty” culture. This was achieved by analyzing their emotional expressions regarding their preferences of Korean cosmetics, Hashtags(#) mentioned in related posts on Instagram. Japanese Hashtags, related to Korean cosmetics in young Japanese peoples’ Instagram posts, were extracted as related words and emotional keywords. Further they were translated and analyzed using “TF-IDF”. As a result, cute, “communication, tint, pink etc”. are appeared to be the expressions related to the perception of Korean cosmetics among young Japanese people. Moreover, It was observed that keywords related to price, purchase, color, and K-pop were used to describe “K-beauty” in the form of new compound words. Consequently, it was found that the Korean wave (Hallyu) cultural communication keywords towards regarding “K-beauty” preferred by young Japanese people on SNS’s were “petite, and cute”. This study focused on K-cosmetics, which is a new Korean wave that has recently drawn a lot of attention from young Japanese people. The emotional preferences of young Japanese people toward this new Korean wave were analyzed empirically, by reviewing their emotional expressions and communication keyword towards “K-beauty” on Instagram, through big data analytics.
비대면 환경에서 ‘맞춤형 학습’ 수업 운영 사례-캡스톤 디자인 중심 수업 사례를 중심으로

This study aimed to design a teaching and learning model of “adapted learning” for an untact educational environment. The study presented a case of teaching and learning in the Creativity Development course in the first semester of 2020 at the K University in Chungcheongnam-do. Adapted learning does not provide the same learning materials and methods to all learners when instructors provide e-learning. Instead, it is individualized education tailored to learners considering the individual learners’ abilities or learning styles. Through adapted learning, instructors can increase learners’ learning outcomes and participation by providing online interactions and feedback to learners. As a result, we had several positive opinions from students who attended the Creativity Development course. Adapted learning can be utilized as a good learning and teaching model and tool in the untacted e-learning system. This study was meaningful in that it was a field study applied to the e-learning educational environment by reflecting the demands of the educational field regarding a teaching and learning model that can be applied to an untacted educational environment.
온라인 플랫폼 기반 발표 과제실행을 위한 캡스톤 디자인 모형 연구- 학문목적 외국인 유학생들에 적용 방안 -

The purpose of this study was to design the capstone design of the academic presentation task execution practice course that academic-purpose international students perform through selfregulated learning using an online platform. For this purpose, 30 academic-purpose international students enrolled in domestic universities were investigated for their perceptions of their perceptions of academic presentations and preferred presentation tasks, followed by ‘self-regulated learning’ theory and ‘experiential language learning’. By referring to the theory, the capstone design model for the execution of the presentation task based on the online platform was designed. Next, a study was conducted using an online platform(Zoom) to observe the execution of the model constructed through this study for international students for academic purposes. This study is different from previous studies in that it was designed as a model by focusing on ‘self-regulated learning’ to practice the presentation task execution required for academic purpose international students. Nevertheless, this study has a limitation in that it did not conduct a study to verify the actual educational effect on many international students, but the model developed in this study will be supplemented through future studies. It is expected that the model developed through this study will be used as a practice tool for foreign students to practice their presentations in the future.
해외 한국학에서 한국문화 수업모형 구성을 위한 기초 연구 - 유럽 대학의 한국학 과정 운영현황 자료 분석을 기반으로 -

This paper aims to provide preliminary research to show the need for and to build a structural curriculum model for teaching Korean culture in Korean Studies abroad. It analyses the current management of Korean cultural programs in European universities. Despite the recent increased number of higher education institutions offering Korean Studies programs abroad, studies on the specific curricular framework of how Korean culture is taught has been insufficient. Thus, this paper investigates the current management of Korean cultural education in 159 European universities across 36 countries using the Korea Foundation database. The findings show a large majority of universities offer modules on Korean culture, even at those institutions that do not offer Korean studies at the degree level. This indicates that Korean culture education form a significant role in Korean studies programs at European universities.
