Nine obesity and hypertension middle-aged women were selected to perform the aquatic exercise prescription with in 70~80HRmax, for 60min/day, 4 times/week during 12weeks. The statistical techniques utilized in the study was paired t test analysis. The .05 level was initially established in significance. The conclusions of the study were as follows ; 1. In the changes of body composition factors, percent body fat and total body fat were significantly decreased. 2. In the changes of blood lipid factors, high density lipoprotein cholesterol was significantly increased, low density lipoprotein cholesterol and triglyceride were significantly decreased. 3. In resting blood pressure and heart rate factors, resting heart rest was significantly decreased. In summarizing the results, body composition, blood lipid and Resting blood pressure and heart rate factors were significantly increased or decreased. The results of this study reaffirms the results that the aquatic exercise prescription is much effective in several physical aspects.
