In this study, surface deformation patterns have been investigated by the rigid-plastic finite element method for friction factor test in solid cylinder compression process. AA1100 and AA6063 aluminum alloys, which show different work hardening characteristics respectively, have been adopted as model materials used for analysis. The main objective of this study is to provide the deformation mechanics in detail in solid cylinder compression process, especially at the die/workpiece interface that is closely related with the frictional conditions. For this reason, solid cylinder compression process has been numerically analyzed. The surface flow patterns at the contact boundary have been analyzed in terms of surface expansion, surface expansion velocity, pressure distributions exerted on the die surface along the die surface. By defining bulge factor, barreling phenomenon also have been examined with calibration curves to verify their effects on the surface flow pattern that is important for evaluating the frictional condition at the interface.

The aim of this study is to develop the dies oven for energy-saving during the pre-heated process of extrusion dies. Applying high-efficiency near-infrared heater, single cell type dies oven was developed as a substitute for traditional chest type oven. Therefore the dies is individually heated uniformly to operation temperature so rapidly. By using the developed dies oven, electric-energy consumption of preheating extrusion dies reduced up to 30% and the waiting time in the oven also minimized up to 90min. In addition, the results have shown that it is possible to accurately control the dies temperature for improving the quality of extruded profile and to minimize die bearing oxidation and nitride layer degradation responsible for surface defects on the profile and shorter die life.

오늘날 한국의 기업들은 경쟁력을 강화하기 위하여 연봉제를 도입하고 있으나, 현실적으로 연봉제도입의 성공과 그 효과를 거두지 못하고 있다. 그 원인은 여러 가지가 있겠으나, 여기에서는 조직문화의 유형별로 연봉제도입에 따른 임금만족도와 조직몰입의 영향에 관하여 어떠한 문제기 있는가를 규명하고, 바람직한 조직문화를 형성하는데 연구목적을 두고 있다. 그 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조직문화가 임금만족에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설은 음(-)의 값으로 나타났기 때문에 조직문화는 임금만족과 조직몰입에 영향을 미친다는 가설은 채택되었다. 둘째, 조직문화는 조직몰입에 영향을 줄 것이라는 가설은 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 따라서 조직문화는 조직몰입에 영향을 주기 때문에 기업은 강한 조직문화를형성함으로써 구성원들의 조직몰입의 정도는 높아진다고 할 수 있다. 셋째, 조직특성이 임금만족에 영향을 줄 것이라는 가설도 통계적으로 유의한 결과가 나타났다. 따라서 조직규모나 경영자특성과 같은 조직특성은 임금만족에 긍정적인영향을 주게 된다고 할 수 있다. 넷째, 임금만족은 조직몰입에 영향을 줄 것이라는 가설은 통계적으로 유의하지 않은 결과로 나타났다. 따라서 과거와는 달리 조직몰입은 임금이 결정하는 것이 아니라임금 외에 복지, 성취감, 자기개발요인 등과 같은 다양한 요인에 의하여 결정된다고볼 수 있다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 조직문화유형이나 조직특성이 조직몰입에 영향을 준다. 라고할 수 있으므로 임금보다는 합리적이고 강력한 조직문화를 형성하는 것과, 조직특성으로서 합리적이고 훌륭한 기업가성향과 임파워먼트 그리고 신경영기법의 도입 등에따른 위한감수성향 등이 조직몰입을 위하여 중요하다는 결론을 얻게 되었다. Nowadays, most of Korean companies have induced the annual wage system to reinforce their competition, even though they could not see the real expected effects by the system. Among various reasons, this study has focused on finding out the problems of the influence on the wage satisfaction and the organization commitment by the annual wage system in various organizational cultures in order to make the effective formation of the organization culture. Firstly, the hypothesis that the organization culture has the influence on the wage satisfaction shows negative value. In this regard, the hypothesis that the organization culture can influence on the wage satisfaction and the organization commitment is accepted. Secondly, the hypothetical influence of the organization culture on the organization commitment shows statistical value .Considering the effects of the organization culture on the organization commitment, the degree of the employees' organization commitment could be accelerated by the high formation of the organization culture in the companies. Thirdly, the hypothesis that the organization characteristics may influence on the wage satisfaction also shows the statistical value, which means that the organizational characteristics such as the size of the organization and the employers' traits can have positive influence on the wage satisfaction. Lastly, the hypothesis of the influence of the wage satisfaction on the organization commitment shows statistically valueless results. Contrary to the beliefs in the past, the organization commitment can be determined by the variables such as welfare system, self-satisfaction, self-development, etc. in the company, not by the wage alone. In conclusion, this study shows that, as the organizational cultures or characters have great influence on the organization commitment, more important are not the wage alone but the reasonable and powerful formation of the organization culture, the rational characters of industrial traits or empowerment, and the introduction of new management techniques even faced with some future dangers.
