Intrameduallary spinal hemangioblastoma is frequently associated with syringomyelia. lt grows slowly and can be removed totally. Syringomyelia can be subcided by total removal of tumor and opening of syringomyelia. Two cases of intramedullary spinal hemangioblastomas associated with syringomyelia are reported. Intramedullary tumor and syrinx was easily diagnosed by magnetic resonance imaging(MRI). They are successfully managed by total removal of tumor and opening of tumor and opening of syrinx. Patients showed improved neurological status after operations.

Effect of Investor Sentiment on Market Response to Stock Split Announcement

This paper creates monthly investor sentiment indices for Korea and provides evidence that these indices have the power to predict the subsequent 6-month buy-and-hold returns. In addition, the paper shows that investor sentiment positively affects market response to stock split announcements by using stock splits on the Korea Exchange from 1999 to 2006. First, market response to a stock split announcement is positively related to investor sentiment. Second, market response is more pronounced in high sentiment periods, particularly for small, young, highly volatile, and low profit-stocks, the valuations of which are highly subjective and difficult to arbitrage. Third, the initial effects of size, age, volatility, and profitability in times of high investor sentiment tend to be reversed over 12-month post-split performance. These empirical results imply that the market tends to overreact to stock split announcements for small, young, highly volatile, and low-profit firms in a high sentiment period but thereafter correct the overvaluation of those firms during the 12-month post-split performance. As such, the paper shows how investor sentiment affects the valuation of stocks at a corporate event level.

女高生의 體型에 따른 性格要因에 關한 硏究 : 裡里市內 産業體 特別學級을 中心으로

1. The result of research. For a study on the factors of personality followed by body type of girl students who attend senior high schools, I investigated 1434 students who attend industrial schools and 584 students who attend senior Jeon Buk province to measure physique (body height, body weight, chest girth, body sitting height), bring forth Pelidisis 'lndex' a index of body type, examine relationship between the factors if personality, and gained the conclusions of following; (1) More than 82% of industrial students and general students were occupied in B group (95-99) and C group (90-94) and less than 18% were occupied in A group (more than 18% were occpied in A group (more than 100%) and D group (less than 89%) in the distribution of Pelidisis' Index, and industrial students had more leptosome type than general students (15.92%). (2) A group was occupied with the girls who have served less than 2 years (less than 7.98%) and D group was occupied with the girl who have served less than 3 years in Pelidisis' Index. (3) Industrial students had superiority in factor C (52.00) and inferiority in factors of V (47.05) M (55.64) C (54.09) over scores gained in test for character formation and then, the significant level is P (0.05). (4) The girls who have 3 to 4 years in service career took advantages of factor V(51.86), L (50.47) and the girls who have less than 4 years were higher than whole advantage score of F (47.53), 8 (3.64), A (44.11), M(56.06), E (52.49) in test for character formation. (5) Each group, A group in factor 8 (39.36), M (57.18), L (51.39). B group in factor F (51.21), C group in factor V (51.57), C (53.57), A (54.39) was superior to the whole average score in test score of character format on. (6) A coefficient of corel at ion between Pelidisis' Index and the factor of personality showed that B group and C group ranged from 0.407 to 0.647 but factor M, L and the significant level is P (0.001) Sqgestion. I am going to suggest a few of proposals on the basis of this conclusions. (1) As showed in this study, industrial students are self-defensive. lack of brightness and leadership when compared with general students. Therefore, there must be some special countermeasures. (2) This study indicates that the industrial students who are pyknic type and leptosome type have special personalitys. So, we must use it as a guideline to educate individuals.

PECVD에 의해 제조된 Sb-doped SnO₂박막의 광학적성질

플라즈마를 이용한 화학증착법 (PECVD)으로 Corning glass 1737 기판에 Sb-doped SnO2 박막을 증착하였다. 플라즈마 화학증착시 반응변수에 따른 박막의 결정상, 표면형상 및 광투과도를 XRD, SEM, AFM 과 그리고 UV-VIS-NIR Spectrophotometer를 이용하여 분석하였다. Thermal CVD에 비해 PECVD법은 박막의 증착속도를 향상시켰고, 박막의 표면형상을 보다 균일하게 하였다. 반응온도 450℃, 유입가스비 R=1.12, RF power 30W에서 결정성과 광투과도가 비교적 뛰어난 Sb-doped tin oxide films을 얻을 수 있었다. Sb-doped tin oxide films were deposited on Coming glass 1737 substrate by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) technique. The films deposited at different reaction parameters were investigated by using XRD, SEM, AFM, and UV-VIS-NIR Spectrophotometer. Compared to thermal CVD,PECVD effectively enhanced the deposition rate and smoothed the surface of tin oxide films. Sb-doped tin oxide films which have a relatively good crystallinity and photo-transmission were obtained at deposition temperature 450℃, input gas ratio R=1.12, and RF power 30W.
