The importance of wild plant resources along with the development of high biotecyhnology is highlighted for exploitation of new materials which can make the added value. The goal of this study is providing fundamental data bases for developing new materials through the analyses of morphological characteristics, antibiotics and molecular cytogenetics in Baegseon (Dictamnus dasycarpus Turcz.). Baegseon has several characteristics; there are two types of flower color, pink and white, the seed germination starts about February 20th, the maximum flowering season is around May 17th in southern Korea, the growth period is about 60 days. The number of chromosomes are 2n=2x=36, the size of chromosomes in metaphase is $4.2{\sim}8.1{\mu}m$. The amount of 2C nuclear DNA is 1.93pg, and there is no variation of genome size amoung varieties. The extraction juice of baegseon young roots has the excellent antibiotic activity against the mold (Botrytis cinerea).

The effects of nitrogen treatment on the yield and seed components of soybean(Glycin max (L.) Merrill), Bokwangkong and Muhankong were estimated. Increasing the amount of nitrogen, stem length, the numbers of branches, main stem node, and pod were respectively increased. Hundred grain weight and yield showed the highest value in the plot treated with 4g/10a of nitrogen. The composition rate of protein showed the highest value at the plt treatd with 4kg/10a of nitrogen, and oil components was respectively high at the plot treated with 2kg/10a of nitrogen for Bokwangkong and at the plot treated with 4kg/10a of nitrogen for Muhankong. Amino acid was generally high at the plot treated with 4kg/10a of nitrogen, and there were no correlation between the variation of mineral contents and nitrogen treatment.

This study was carried out to estimate the effects of planting density on the yield and seed components of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill), Bokwangkong and Muhankong. According to the results, there were no significant differences of planting density on days to flowering and maturity, and 100 grain weight, respectively. Increasing the planting density, stem length, the number of branches and yields were respectively increased, although stem diameter was decreased. The composition rate of protein showed no regular tendency in the two soybean varieties, although oil components was higher in the dense plot. In the analysis of amino acid, both tested soybeans had a high level of glutamic acid and aspartic acid, and the composition rate of valine, arginine and methionine were respectively getting higher according as the increment of planting density. On the other hand, histidine and lysine was lower as the increment of planting density. For the variation of minerals, calcium content was lower, however, the content of phosphoric acid was preferably increased according to the dense planting.
植物 生長調整劑의 處理가 水稻幼苗의 蛋白質 含量 및 酵素 活性에 미치는 影響

A study was carried out to investigate the effect of growth regular on protein content, PAL and peroxidase activity in rice seedling plants, Akibare, a Japonica type variety. ABA(0.1, 1, 10ppm), 2.4-D(10, 100, 1000ppm), and GA(0.05, 0.5, 5ppm) were respectively treated for 5 days to the nee seedling plants which were grown for 20 days. The results were summarized as follows. In stems, the protein content showed the highest value in the plot treated with GA for 5 days, although ABA and 2.4-D treated plots showed no significant differences compared with the control. PAL activity in the plot treated with GA for 5 days and in the plot treated with 2.4-D for 10 days were respectively higher than control. On the contrary, it was low in the plot treated with ABA. PAL activity in roots was respectively higher in the plots treated with GA for 5days and 2.4-D for 10 darts than the control. According to increment of days seedling growth, peroxidase activity was respectively maintained in the plot treated with ABA, 2.4-D, and GA, although it was decreased in the control.
水稻의 極晩期栽培에 관한 硏究(其二) : 苗垈日數 및 移秧期移動 Date of seedling bed & Day of transplanting

水稻의 定時 極晩期栽培에 있어서 收量의 減收를 節減시킬 몇 가지 栽培法 郞, 苗垈日數 및 移秧期等에 關한 合理的인 數値를 測定하고저 3??處理에 依한 團場試驗을 實施하였던 바 그 結果는 다음과 같았다. 1. 水稻의 收量增大를 爲하여 苗垈日數가 긴 것이 (30日 苗보다 40日苗) 效果的이었다. 2. 水稻의 移秧時期가 빠를수록 收量의 增大를 가져왔다. 3. 極晩期 栽培인 8月 4日에서 329.2kg/10a의 收量dfm 얻었다. 4. 南部海岸地方의 移秧限界期는 8月 4日이었다. In order to determine the adequate value of the date of seeding bed and day of transplanting under the supremely late seasonal culture of rice. 3??factorial experiment was under taken, and the result obtained were as follows: 1. The highest yields on grain were revealed at the plot of 40days per seedling bed. 2. The heightest yields on grain were also convinced at the plat of earlier date of transplanting. 3. yields of 329kg/10a at the transplanting date on August 4th were obtained under the supremely late seasonal culture of rice. 4. Extermely limited time transplanting date were August 4th in Southren sea-side.

The emergence of mass communication was seen as a development of human communication in the process of History until even a few years ago. But such a view is challenged, today, by the critical approach. In short, the critical viewpoint is based on the fact that the technological development of mass communication has not necessarily resulted in the free press. We can find many evidences in the communication history which prove this critical estimation right. If mass communication really develop, it must follow democratization of communication channel, and such a democratization must mean popular participation in the process of production as well as stpending of message. Thus we must focus on this aspect to study mass communication rationally.
