In these days, private investment for railway business has been expended and the importance of asset management arose. Especially new concept and effective management for the maintenance of railway have been developed. RCM(Reliability Centered Maintenance) is suggested to optimize the maintenance task and the proper maintenance decision logic for each system has been needed. But there are a lot of difficulties to apply the maintenance decision logic which has been developed in Aviation fields to railway. In this paper, the study on the development of the maintenance decision logic will be introduced through the risk analysis which has been applied to analyze the safety of railway.

This paper show communication network scheme problem for the railway is solved which were electrical noise and line break in wayside using rerouting communication line, Considering the availability and the maintainability based on the reliability in design of communication networks. At first, Self-Healing Ring algorithm is suggested in that solution which is satisfied with above requirements. And also, in the advanced type, Dual Master scheme is suggested that the problem which is occurred in line break of both main and sub line at the same time can be solved using DMSHR(Dual Master Self Healing Ring). Therefore total reliability in railway system is going to be advanced using DMSHR scheme.

IgA nephropathy is the most common type of glomerulonephritis worldwide. Although primary IgA nephropathy receives the most attention, many other diseases are also associated with IgA nephropathy. Among these, chronic liver diseases such as alcoholic liver disease or hepatitis B or C have been reported as secondary causes of glomerular IgA deposits. Recently, as the prevalence of hepatitis A virus (HAV) infection is increasing in Korea, HAV-associated renal diseases occur frequently. Acute kidney injury (AKI) is one of the most common complications of HAV infection, mainly due to acute tubular necrosis or interstitial nephritis. However, unlike hepatitis B and C, glomerular involvement is extremely rare in acute HAV infection. Here, we report a case of biopsy-proven IgA nephropathy with serologically documented HAV infection. The patient presented moderate degree of proteinuria without evidence of AKI. Renal biopsy revealed mesangial IgA deposits but tubular or interstitial inflammation was not observed. This report suggests that HAV infection may be a secondary cause of IgA nephropathy. However, further studies are required to elucidate a causal link between hepatitis A and mesangial IgA deposits.

Railway is being revaluated as a future oriented transportation which enables mass transit of passengers and logistics with its environment friendly and economical characteristics under the virtue of better safety and punctuality. Recently, various kinds of light weight rail system including MAGLEV have been introduced and also new technologies are being applied to signalling and communication area. For this reason, it is very hard to secure the safety of passengers, public (station facilities users) and rail operators with the existing experienced-based knowledge. In case of various stakeholder involved in current private financing project at Korea and abroad, safety assessment by international notified bodies which contain objectivity and professionality is becoming more common. In this study, introduction of independent safety assessment process to secure the safety of rail project and rail safety assessment methodology through case study from Seoul Metro Line 9 will be presented.

In this paper propose the new method on desig ESJ(Electrical Separation Joint) of Jointless Track Circuit. ESJ has a capability to saparate track signal electrically but enable conected a track section physically. So It is more proper to high-speed line. Because that demand a critical traveling safety and convient taking a train. In spite of existing ESJ of Jointless Track Circuit, UM71, S-bond, According to new pole-zero placement and desgining tuining-unit, It is possible to prove a independence of track-section and track-signal in new ESJ design of this paper.

Although a moderate degree of proteinuria is common in patients with IgA nephropathy (IgAN), nephrotic syndrome combined with IgAN is rare. It has been reported that approximately 5% of all patients with IgAN are complicated by minimal change disease and these patients respond well to corticosteroid therapy. However, spontaneous remission is uncommon in heavy proteinuric patients with IgAN. Recently, we experienced two cases of spontaneous remission of nephrotic syndrome combined with IgAN without use of corticosteroid. In these patients, heavy proteinuria disappeared in 1 month after the onset and no recurrence occurred during follow-up. With such limited number of cases, factors associated with spontaneous remission in these patients could not be explored. Further study with a larger number of patients is required and careful attention should be paid to these complicated cases.
