Renovascular hypertension is surgically correctable hypertension. Recent advances in diagnostic techniques and vascular reconstructive techniques now enable successful management in many patients with renovascular hypertenaion. We observed one case of renovascular hypertension due to left renal arterial stenosis in 21 year old male patient with chief complaints of severe occipital headache and decreased visual acuity for 3 years. The treatment was done by left aortorenal bypass procedure with Gore-Tex and good result was obtained. Herein we reported a case of renovascular hypertension with a review of the literatures.

본 논문에서는 미국을 중심으로 해서 현재 개발되었거나 개발중이 야전포병 무기체계를 살펴보고, 장차전에서의 포병의 역할에 대한 연구를 통하여 한국 야전포병 무기체계의 발전방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 야전포병 무기체계의 발전방향은 크게 표적획득체계, 화포와 탄약, 지휘 및 통제, 포술 등 4가지 분야로 나누어 생각할 수 있다. 결론적으로 앞으로의 장차전에서 야전포병의 무기체계는 전장의 광역화에 대응해서 화력통제권을 확대하고, 전황의 복잡성을 해결하기 위한 신속한 정보처리기능을 요구하므로 시급한 컴퓨터의 도입이 필요하다고 생각된다. In this paper, the Korean field arfillery weapon systems(F.A.W.S.) have been invesigated on the basis of U.S.F.A systems. The roles of F.A. in the future battle field have been studied and the directions of the development for the Korean F.A.W.S. have been suggested. The F.A.W.S. could be devided into four concerned areas such as target acguisition systems, gun and ammunitions, command and control, and gunnery. We've shown that the F.A.W.S. in the future battlefield, should demand the computerization, because of the enlargement of fire control for the wideness of battlefields, and the accurate and prompt intelligence processing for the complexity of the war situations.

Since Wayne Booth created the concept of “implied author” in his book entitled The Rhetoric of Fiction (1961), the narrative term of “unreliable narrator” has been renowned in reading fiction, along with the return of the author repressed by Modernist’s aesthetic. The implied author is the literary version of the real author in the text as the result of reader’s inference, and is rooted in the postmodern epistemology regarding language as rhetoric. When Booth coined that terminology, the implied author indicated the norms for reading a text in which the voice of the author and that of the (character) narrator diverge and converge in a “dual focalization” or even in triple voices. However, after 30 years of cultural studies and political corrections, when the expression “implied author” has returned in line with the return of ethics as well as of aesthetics, such as is seen these days, the term needs to be revised and redefined. Some argue for including the cultural and historical background of the reader, but others argue against the necessity of that term, implied author itself. This paper introduces several scholars’s controversial discussions to reveal the reason that we need that term. Without the implied author we can hardly enjoy the intricate narrative strategy of Nabokov’s Lolita. Representing how an unreliable narration can be ethical by means of the artistic sublimation, Lolita displays a fine example to indicate the position where an implied author can be located in metafiction. In conclusion, an implied author does not disappear, nor does it need the cultural context of a reader. It is strictly inferred in the text itself through the reading process by the authorial “rereader,” and needs to be relocated in accordance with the paradigm shift of literary form.

동해지역 NOAA/AVHRR 고해상도 주평균 해수면 온도의 통계적 분석 : 지역적 변동성과 엘니뇨/남방진동과의 관계성

The characteristics of SST variability in the East Sea are analyzed using NOAA/AVHRR weekly SST data with about $0.18^{\circ}{\times}0.18^{\circ}$ resolution ($1981{\sim}2000$) and reconstructed historical monthly SST data with $2^{\circ}{\times}2^{\circ}$ resolution $(1950{\sim}1998)$. The distinct feature of wintertime SST is high variability in the western and eastern parts of $38^{\circ}{\sim}40^{\circ}$ latitudinal band, which are the northern boundary of warm current in the East Sea during winter. However, summertime SST exhibits variability with similar magnitude in the entire region of the East Sea. The analysis of remote correlation also shows that SST in the East Sea is closely correlated with that in the region of Kuroshio in winter, but in summer is related with that in the western and eastern regions of the same latitudes. From these results it is postulated that the SST variability in the East Sea may be related with the variations of East Korean Warm Current and Tsushima Warm Current in winter, but in summer probably with the variations of atmospheric components. In the analysis of ENSO related SST anomaly, a significant negative correlation between SST anomalies in the East Sea and SST anomalies in the tropical Pacific is found in the months of August-October (ASO). The SST in the ASO period shows more significant cooling in E1 $Ni\~{n}o$ events than warming in La $Ni\~{n}a$ events. Also, the regional analysis shows by the Student's t-test that the negative SST anomalies in the E1 $Ni\~{n}o$ events are more significant in the southwestern part of the East Sea.

발효식품에서 Nitrate 및 관련화합물의 동태 : 제1보 산성용액에서 nitrite의 변화

Nitrites were rapidly converted to nitrates in strong acidic solution via nitric oxides and nitrogen dioxides. The convertion rate was increased by addition of hydrogen peroxide, becaous of nitric oxides oxidation(recyclic oxidation) were faciliated in strong acidic conditon and directly oxidized nitrite to nitrate. Its conclued that chemical disappearance of nitrites due to the recyclic oxidation and direct oxidation are maine factors in acidic fermented foods. The effect of ascorbic acid in nitrite disappearance is shown to be the reduction of NO^+/NO to NO^-, but resorcinol formed dinitrosoresorcinol and ammonia. The mchanism of ammonia formation by resorcinol is ambigous.
