The purpose of the study is to investigate the degree of puckering of the seam which was produced which fabric was sewn with the single needle and twin needle, according to the three different sizes of stitch and to find out the method that use the sewing machine efficiently. For this purpose, the seam contraction and the seam puckering grade by AA TCC test method were measured. The results obtained are as follows : 1. The seam contraction increased with the increase of the size of stitch regardless of the needletype. In the case of the seam puckering grade, the contrary tendency was shown. 2. Before launderying, sample A was that seam contration appears s) t₁>t₂ and seam puckering grade appear t₁= t₂〉s, and sample B was that seam contration appears t₂〈s 〈 t₁ and seam puckering grade appears t₁〉 s = t₂ . 3. After laundering, more seam contraction and seam puckering grade appear on single needle than twin needle. 4. With the inα'ease of the cycle of the laundering. seam contraction increases, and seam puckering grade increases to three times but decrease on the more times.

Main purpose of the present study is to find the relationship among eating-out experience, family cohesion, and marital conflicts. Extensive date were collected through a survey with couples in the Daegu, Metropolitan city. Based on 219 valid responses, statistical analyses including frequencies, factor analysis, reliability analysis and correlation, regression were carried out using the SPSS program. The results show that playful factor of eating-out experiences has a significant influence on family cohesion. which is closely related to character, communication, and kinship factors in marital conflicts, and that eating-out experience leads to the stronger family cohesion, further reducing marital conflicts.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of planting date and size of seed cloves on bulb formation and yield in spring plantings of garlic. A split plot design with five replications was used. The main effects were 6 planting dates: at intervals of 10 days from March 5 to April 25, 1979. The subplots were 6 size groups of seed cloves: at intervals of 0.5g from 1.5 to 4.5g. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. Number of cloves per bulb was decreased as planting was delayed. The number of cloves was markedly decreased in the plots planted after April 16. The effect of size of seed cloves on the number of cloves was not significant. 2. Weight of cloves per plant was also decreased as planting was delayed. The weight of cloves per plant was markedly decreased in the plots planted on or after April 16. The weights of cloves both in the outer and inner layers were also decreased as planting was delayed. However, the inner layer cloves were significantly heavier than outer layer ones in the plots planted on or after April 16. 3. When considered the distribution of number and weight of cloves per bulb as influenced by planting date, relatively large cloves weighing 3 to 4g were frequent in the bulbs produced in the plots planted on or before April 4, while relatively small cloves weighing 1 to 2g were common in the plots planted thereafter.
