The composite hollow fiber membrane is a ultra filtration made by coating apolymer mixture on the surface of the braid, which is a substrate. Compared to a singlemembrane, it has excellent strength, durability and life time. In this study, we tried todevelop a heat treatment method to flatten the surface of the braid used as a fiber supportfor the composite hollow fiber membrane and improve the circularity of the cross section. A heat treatment device capable of controlling temperature and take-up speed wasdevised, and braids were heat treated with various conditions. As a result of comparing surfaceand cross-section images, it was observed that the surface of the specimen treated at220 oC or higher was flattened by heat treatment and the cross-section became closer to acircular shape. And it was found that the lower take-up speed, the larger the diameterchange due to heat shrinkage.
Power Conditioning System for a Grid Connected PV Power Generation Using a Quasi-Z-Source Inverter

This paper presents a grid connected photo-voltaic system using a quasi-Z-source inverter (QZSI) for power stage reduction. The power stage can be reduced because of an additional shoot-through stage which is a characteristic of QZSI. Therefore, by utilizing a QZSI the system’s efficiency can be increased. In this paper, for applying a QZSI to a PV system, control methods such as maximum power point tracking (MPPT), point of common coupling (PCC) current control and PWM are studied and verified through simulation and experiment. In order to explain the above controllers, the characteristics of a QZSI are first analyzed. Then the MPPT control technique with a modified P&O method, the PCC current control for the regulation of the dc-link capacitor voltage and the PWM methods for the proposed system are explained. The feasibility of the proposed algorithm is verified through simulation and experiment with a 3kW system.

This paper presents the MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) and PCC (Point of Common Coupling) current control strategy for photovoltaic (PV) grid-connected generating system using the quasi-Z-source inverter (QZSI). At first, in order to explain the above controllers, the characteristic of QZSI is analyzed. And then, the MPPT control technique with a modified P&O method, the PCC current control one for the regulation of dc-link capacitor voltage, and the PWM methods for the proposed system are explained. The feasibility of the propose algorithm is verified through the simulation and experiment with 3㎾ system.

It is well known that glucocorticoid may induce osteoporosis as its side effect in long-term therapy. The inhibition of osteoblast by glucocorticoid is also recognized as its action mechanism of decreased bone formation. In this study, the effect of DSG, Danchisoyosangamibang, on the differentiation and function of osteoblastic cells was investigated. The osteoblastic cells were isolated from rat calvariae using collagenase treatment. The cell counting, enzyme activity assay, MTT assay, collagen content assay were done to determine the cell proliferation, intracellular alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity, bone martrix production, and cell apoptosis. DSG enhanced the cell proliferation after the culture for 10 days. ALP activity and total protein synthesis, and intracelluar collagen synthesis were increased time dependently when the cells were treated with DSG in the presence of dexamethasone. And, DSG restored calvarial cell function decreased by dexamethasone.

대용량의 전력을 변환하기 위한 방법 중 하나인 병렬운전은 기존 제품에 적용했던 IGBT 소자 및 Stack을 그대로 활용할 수 있다는 점에서 신규 개발에 수반되는 위험부담을 상당히 줄일 수 있는 방법이다. 병렬운전의 형태로는 IGBT 병렬, Stack 병렬, Inverter 병렬 등이 있으며 모듈형 PCS의 도입으로 PEBB 구성도 하나의 병렬 형태로 자리 잡고 있다. 병렬운전에서 가장 중요한 것은 PWM 동기화라고 할 수 있는데 IGBT 병렬 및 Stack 병렬은 주로 Interface Board를 사용하여 신호를 분배하여 사용하는 반면 Inverter 병렬 및 PEBB 병렬은 동기화 신호를 활용하여 동기화를 실현한다. 본 논문에서는 동기화 신호를 이용하는 온라인 동기화 방법 세 가지를 실제 사례와 함께 소개하고 각각의 장단점 및 적절한 적용 환경을 제시하고자 한다.
