CLOSED-FORM SOLUTIONS OF AMERICAN PERPETUAL PUT OPTION UNDER A STRUCTURALLY CHANGING ASSET

Typically, it is hard to find a closed form solution of option pricing formula under an asset governed by a change point process. In this paper we derive a closed-form solution of the valuation function for an American perpetual put option under an asset having a change point. Structural changes are formulated through a change-point process with a Markov chain. The modified smooth-fit technique is used to obtain the closed-form valuation function. We also guarantee the optimality of the solution via the proof of a corresponding verification theorem. Numerical examples are included to illustrate the results.
온라인 역사 수업에 대한 여러 논의와 역사 수업의 효율성 제고 방안 : ‘확장된’ 블렌디드 러닝을 중심으로

본 논문은 역사교육에서 온라인 수업을 효율적으로 활용하려는 연구이다. 2020년에 코로나19의 여파로 전면 온라인 수업이 시작되면서 온라인 수업을 효율적으로 활용하려는 연구가 활발해졌다. 그러나 온라인 수업은 이전부터 역사교육에서 논의되었던 주제였다. 일방적인 강의식 수업에 대한 대안으로 컴퓨터와 인터넷을 활용하여 ‘쌍방향 수업’과 ‘학생 주도 학습’을 도모하려고 노력하였다. 미래 수업에 대한 기대는 코로나19로 전면 온라인 수업이 시행되면서 현실이 되었다. 아울러 온라인 수업과 관련된 현장 연구가 이루어졌는데, 본 논문에서는 이를 교사 범주, 학생 범주, 사회 범주로 나누어 고찰하였다. 온라인 수업은 코로나19가 끝난 이후에도 역사교육에서 중요한 수업 형태로 지속될 것이다. 블렌디드 러닝이 대표적인데, 기존 연구에서는 개념의 폭이 좁았고 형태도 제한적이었다. 그러나 실제 학교에서 활용할 때는 몇 가지 효율적인 수업 형태를 추가함으로써 블렌디드 러닝을 더욱 유연하게 활용할 수 있다. 이른바 ‘확장된’ 블렌디드 러닝이다. ‘확장된’ 블렌디드 러닝은 첫째, ‘클립 동영상’과 ‘멈춤 지점’을 설정하고, 둘째, 탐구형 과제를 제시하고 피드백을 하며, 셋째, 온라인을 활용한 비실시간 토론 수업 형태로 구현될 수 있다. 이로써 ‘확장된’ 블렌디드 러닝은 온라인 수업이 전면적으로 시작되기 전부터 기대했던 ‘학생 주도 학습’과 ‘쌍방향 수업’을 실제 역사 수업에서 효율적으로 실현하는 데 기여할 것이라 생각한다. This paper is a study to effectively utilize online classes in history education. As full online classes began in 2020 in the aftermath of COVID-19, studies to effectively utilize online classes have become active. However, online classes have been a topic that has been discussed in history education for a long time. Efforts have been made to promote ‘interactive classes’ and ‘student-led learning’ using computers and the Internet as alternatives to unilateral lecture-style classes. Expectations for future classes have become a reality as full online classes were implemented due to COVID-19. In addition, field studies related to online classes were conducted, and this paper considered the online classes separately for the category of teachers, the category of students, and the category of society. Online classes will continue as an important form of classes in history education even after the COVID-19 pandemic is over. Blended learning is a typical example. In previous studies, the concept of blended learning was narrow, and the forms were limited. However, when used in real schools, blended learning can be used more flexibly by adding some effective forms of classes. This is the so-called “extended” blended learning. ‘Extended’ blended learning can be implemented in the form of non-real time discussion classes that first, set ‘clip videos’ and ‘stopping points’, second, present inquiry-type tasks and give feedback, and third, use online. Therefore, it is thought that ‘extended’ blended learning will contribute to the efficient realization of ‘student-led learning’ and ‘interactive classes’ that were expected even before online history classes began fully, in real classes.
공법분야 투고논문 : 연명 중단의 고려 시점에 대한 분석

The author analyzed the proper time and situation for stopping life sustaining equipment on the chronically unconscious patients and terminal patients. As you know, everyone thinks about death in case he or she suffers a chronic conscious disease or terminal illness, but many cannot decide on the concept of when he or she should start the thought process of stopping active treatment such as respiratory ventilators. But, everyone should know the status of patients who lost his or her consciousness and have to decide the critical points of stopping those treatments. So I have made a very useful methodological map and graphics for the decision whether or not one should start thinking of stopping the active treatment for the lost patients. Additionally, I have analyzed the opinions of the juries of the Supreme Court which concluded the sentence about Ms. Kim`s controversial trial of whether or not stopping her respiratory ventilator in 2009 in Korea. In conclusion, I have created a very useful timetable for the decision making process about the stopping of life-sustaining equipment for the consciously obliterated patients who have suffered from terminal disease for many years. This map and graphics will be useful for decision about the stopping the life sustaining treatment for the persistent vegetative states and terminal patients who lost his or her consciousness. In the future, people should study about the various spectrums of unresponsible wakefulness syndromes like persistent vegetative states and minimal consciousness syndrome.

Under the minimum risk point estimation formulation of Robbins(1959), we consider the sequential point estimation problem for normal population with unknown parameter. In the case of completely unknown, Stein's(1945) two-stage procedure is known to enjoy the consistency property, but it is not even first-order efficient. In the case when where is known, the revised two-stage procedure is shown to enjoy all the usual second-order properties.
