        오태아 임신에 의해 유발된 경미한 복수와 중증 흉수의 난소과자극증후군

        난소과자극증후군은 보조생식술에서 배란유도 및 과배란유도 시 발생할 수 있는 가장 심각한 합병증으로 알려져 있다. 흉수는 중증 난소과자극증후군에서 10%에서 보고되고 있고, 주로 심한 복수와 동반되어 나타난다. 하지만, 심한 복수를 동반하지 않는 중증 편측 흉수는 드물게 보고 있고, 아직 병태생리에 대해 명확히 밝혀진바 없다. 본 저자들은 과배란유도 및 인공수정과 관련된 오태아 임신에 의해 유발된 경미한 복수와 중증 편측 흉수를 동반한 난소과자극증후군을 경험하였고, 흉수천자와 같은 침습적 시술 없이 보존적 치료만으로 호전되었다. 이 증례를 경험하여 간단한 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is one of the most common iatrogenic complications induced by assisted reproductive technology. Hydrothorax develops in about 10 percent of patients with severe OHSS and it is usually associated with marked ascites. On the other hand, severe hydrothorax without marked ascites is uncommon, and its pathogenesis remains unclear. We recently experienced a case of severe unilateral hydrothorax with minimal ascites induced by quintuplet pregnancy following intrauterine insemination with controlled ovarian hyperstimulation. Severe hydrothorax was resolved after only conservative and symptomatic management without invasive procedure such as thoracentesis or paracentesis. We report this case with brief review of literature.

        인터넷을 통한 비전문가 자막 번역의 특성에 관한 소고

        With the rapid development of technology, people no longer remain passive receivers of cultural contents provided via the Internet. Rather, they participate as creators and providers of contents through various ways such as UCC, Blog, or Internet cafe. Subtitling on the Internet is one of them. In this paper, I tried to examine and identify characteristics of subtitling by non-professional translators on the Internet. I took six episodes from the U.S. drama, Sex and the City and contrasted them to find out characteristic features of subtitling on the Internet. The findings show that subtitling on the Internet is different from traditional subtitling in many ways. First of all, they don t seem to be subject to time and spacial restraints. This is shown in the way of translation with notes or added explanations in subtitling. Secondly, mediation or intervention by translators occurs more frequently than in traditional subtitling. I concluded that though subtitling by non-professionals on the Internet is placed on a peripheral position in the whole system, it may take a central position someday, considering the widespread power of the Internet.

        This paper aims at suggesting the ways of developing and editing a learner's collocation dictionary for students which is not just a general language-learning dictionary that helps learners study vocabulary, but shows the syntagmatic lexical relations that help learners use lexemes that they have learned, along with describing the characteristics and limitations of the recently published 〈Korean Collocation Dictionary for Learners〉. This study includes not only the lexical collocations that are predicted naturally from the semantic features, but also those that are not predicted naturally. To do this, this paper first considers the lexical collocational relations, while dividing them into preceding and following collocation relations and second, this paper examines how to describe the aforementioned book, 〈Korean Collocation Dictionary for Learners〉.

        이미지를 활용한 어휘교육의 효과

        This study explores the effect of vocabulary learning by utilizing images which can influence students‘ vocabulary ability. According to the 7th national curriculum, we pursue to achieve communicative competence by developing the harmony of four skills; reading, writing, listening and speaking. In other words, the importance of vocabulary learning is emphasized to teach language and a variety of teaching methods and strategies have been developing. The experiment of this study was conducted to 40 Korean middle school students in the third grade through vocabulary tests and interviews. The results of this study are summarized as follows: There are meaningful differences between the experimental group and the controlled group and that means the teaching method by using images is effective for students‘ vocabulary ability. Second, depending on the levels of students‘ English ability, vocabulary learning with images is an effectual method regardless of students‘ ability. Lastly, the students showed positive responses on vocabulary learning with images. Therefore, to adopt this method in vocabulary learning in a class will facilitate the environment of the class and be good way for developing the students‘ vocabulary ability.

      • Degenerate Polymerase Chain Reaction을 통한 [NiFe]-Hydrogenase의 탐색

        For biohydrogen production, hydrogenase is a key enzyme. In the present work we performed search of [NiFe]-hydrogenases from hydrogen producing microorganisms using degenerate polymerase chain reaction (PCR) strategy. Degenerate primers were designed from the conserved region of [NiFe]-hydrogenase group I especially on structural genes encoding for catalytic subunit of [NiFe]-hydrogenase from bacteria producing hydrogen. Most of [NiFe]-hydrogenase (group I) are expressed via complex mechanism with aid of auxiliary protein and localized through twin-arginine translocation pathway. [NiFe]-hydrogenase is composed of large and small subunits for catalytic activity. It is known that only small subunit has signal peptide for periplasmic localization and large & small subunitscome together before localization. During this process, large subunit is treated by endopeptidase for maturation. Based on these information we used signal peptide sequence and C-terminal of large subunit by recognized by endopeptidase as templates for degenerate primers. About 2,900 bp of PCR products were successfully amplified using the designed degenerate primers from genomic DNAs of several microorganisms. The amplified PCR products were inserted into T-vector and then sequenced to confirm.

        어머니의 양육태도가 유아의 놀이 권리에 대한 어머니의 인식과 실행에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 어머니의 양육태도가 유아의 놀이 권리에 대한 어머니의 인식과 실행에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것이다. 연구대상은 서울 및 경기 소재 어린이집에 다니고 있는 만 3~5세 유아의 어머니 214명이며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 사용하여 상관분석, t 검정 및 일원변량분석, Scheffe의 사후검정, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아의 놀이 권리에 대한 어머니의 인식은 어머니의 연령, 학력, 가정 월소득에서 차이가 있었고, 어머니의 실행은 어머니의 연령, 가정 월소득, 유아의 연령에서 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 어머니와 유아의 일반적 배경을 통제했을 때 어머니의 애정적, 자율적, 통제적 양육태도는 유아의 놀이 권리에 대한 어머니의 인식에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 통제변인인 어머니의 연령이 부정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 어머니의 애정적, 자율적 양육태도는 유아의 권리에 대한 어머니의 실행에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 거부적 양육태도는 부정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 결론적으로 어머니의 양육태도 중 애정적, 자율적 태도가 유아의 놀이권리에 대한 어머니의 인식과 실행에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 가장 중요한 태도임을 시사한다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of mother's parenting attitude on mother's perception and practice of children's right to play. The subjects of this study are 214 mothers of children aged 3-5 years who attend day care centers in Seoul and Gyeonggi. The Collected data were analyzed by correlation analysis, t-test and one-way variance analysis, Scheffe's post-test, multiple regression using the SPSS 26.0 program. As a result of the study, first, the mother's perception of children's right to play was different in the mother's age, educational background, and monthly household income, and the mother's performance was different in the mother's age, household monthly income, and infant's age. Second, when the general background of the mother and infant was controlled, the mother's affectionate, autonomous, and controlled parenting attitude had a positive effect on the mother's perception of the infant's right to play, and the mother's age, the controlling variable, had a negative effect. In addition, the mother's affectionate and autonomous parenting attitude had a positive effect on the mother's implementation of the rights of infants, and the rejective parenting attitude had a negative effect. In conclusion, it suggests that the affectionate, autonomous attitude among mothers' parenting attitudes is the most important attitude that influences the mother's perception and execution of children's right to play.

        영어학습의 새로운 패러다임

        For many years, the use of various information technologies is becoming more common in English education. In fact, many aspects of English education have been studied in order to better understand learner's attitudes and behaviors. However, while many of prior studies have focused on the impact of particular technology, the psychological aspects that English learners experience have not been studied extensively. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to investigate group difference among face-to-face, electronic learning(e-learning), and smart learning(s-learning) in terms of characteristics of their learning environments, such as Interactivity, Enjoyment, Usefulness, Easiness, Learning Motivation, Satisfaction, Learning Consistence, and Learning Performance. The study used a lab experiment and survey method to collect data. Then, the data were analyzed using SPSS19.0 for all contextual variables in order to determine if any difference existed in both within and between-groups. Results show that there is no difference existed within group for all contextual variables. However, English learners have different psychological experiment for three variables, Enjoyment, Usefulness, and Learning Motivation, between groups.

        영어교과서의 듣기분석 -제7차 개정 교육과정을 바탕으로

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the listening tasks in high school English textbooks and to find out whether the results are applicable to the 7th revised national curriculum goals. The analysis criteria presented by Peterson (1991) was applied for an in-depth analysis of the listening tasks involved in the textbooks. The results of the study show that the philosophy of the 7th national curriculum is properly reflected to a certain degree. However, some listening activities in textbook are presented insufficiently and improperly. The results suggest that the textbook should be designed and improved with more varied topics ranging from easier ones to more challenging ones. In addition, the MEST should suggest more specific aims and guidelines in the curriculum for textbook writers and educators.

        중등영어교사들의 멀티미디어 활용의도에 영향을 주는 요인에 대한 실증연구

        The purpose of this study is to empirically examine English teachers` behaviors of adopting multimedia. Based on the well-known technology acceptance theory, Technology Acceptance Model(TAM), this study developed a model to investigate the relationship between theoretical constructs including Teachers` Self-Efficacy, Openness, Experience, Supports, and Expectation of Learning Performance, and their impact on perceived usefulness of multimedia. A total of 228 data from teachers at middle and high schools were used to analyze the proposed model using multiple regression. The results are twofold: first, results suggest that variables in the proposed model have a significant role in regards to the perceived usefulness of teachers` multimedia, accounted for 78.6% of the variance explained in perceived usefulness. Second, results support the significant effect among TAM variables, implying that TAM is applicable in explaining English teachers` intention to use multimedia. The findings suggested that the important determinants influencing multimedia adoption should be considered for educators using multimedia in ordre to revitalize multimedia for English education.
