      • 기술혁신의 동인으로서 기술로드맵의 역할 : 이산화탄소 포집기술을 중심으로

        This study’s main objective is to verify the relationship between technological innovation and technology roadmap which is one of the technology planning tools. As a material of the study, Carbon Capture Technology, one of the green technologies, was used to analyze the relationship between technological innovation and technology roadmap. This study is made up of 2 parts. The first part is a review section. The concept, definition, technology types, and the market of Carbon Capture and Storage Technology, the material of this study, were investigated. Also in review section precedent study about the concept, definition, and other research outcome of technological innovation and technology roadmap was performed. In the second part of this study, using the Carbon Capture technology R&D program, a government-driven program, the study was analyzed and verified about the relationship between technological innovation and technology roadmap. As a result of this study, several insights came out. First, through the technology roadmap, the potential opportunity of the innovation can be identified. Second, through convergence between technologies in the roadmap, disruptive or sustaining innovation appeared. Third, using other technology concept in the roadmap, technological innovation outcome can be identified. Finally, based on technology roadmap, finding the opportunity of the innovation and achieving innovation can be possible.

      • 클라우드 컴퓨팅을 활용한 비즈니스 연구 : 모바일 클라우드 사례를 중심으로

        클라우드 컴퓨팅은 인터넷이 접속 가능한 공간이면 언제 어디서나 어떠한 단말기로도 컴퓨팅 자원을 이용할 수 있게 해 주는 기술이며, IT 비즈니스의 패러다임을 변화시킬 핵심기술이라 손꼽히고 있다. 특히 무선 네트워크 기술이 고도화되고 모바일 기기 시장이 성장함에 따라 클라우드 컴퓨팅은 모바일과 결합하여 새로운 비즈니스를 창출하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 클라우드 컴퓨팅 개념과 그 유용성을 정리하고, 클라우드 컴퓨팅을 활용한 비즈니스에 대해 연구해보았다. 최근 화두가 되고 있는 모바일 클라우드 컴퓨팅 사례를 중심으로 분석하였으며, 서비스 수용자인 개인과 기업의 관점에서 서비스를 분류해보고 특징을 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 클라우드 컴퓨팅에 따른 비즈니스 패러다임 변화를 밝혀내고, 기업들이 나아가야 할 방향을 제시해 보았다. Cloud Computing is the technology that can use IT resources on any devices, if you can access the internet. It is considered the core technology that can change IT industry paradigm. The wireless network is being developed and the mobile device market is growing. They are combined with mobile technology, and create new business. Thus, they are changing the business paradigm. In this paper, we introduced the concept of Cloud Computing and analyzed the business cases based on Mobile Cloud Computing from the viewpoint of service users. Thus, we revealed the changes of business paradigm and suggested future strategy of the companies.

      • The Determinants of Debt Ratio, Liquidity, and Profitability with Korean Electronic Manufacturing Industry

        본 연구는 한국 전자 제조업을 대상으로 부채비율, 유동성, 수익성과 관련한 종합적인 시사점을 도출하는 것을 그 목적으로 하고 있다. 실증 분석은 2005-2009년 기간 동안 KOSPI와 KOSDAQ에 상장된 전자 제조 기업 238개를 대상으로 수행하였다. 가설은 Myers의 자본조달우선순위 이론과 Jensen, Meckling의 대리인 비용에 관한 연구를 기초로 설정하였다. 종속 변수로는 부채 비율, 유동자산 비율, 감가상각을 제외한 매출대비 세전이익률(EBITDA)이 사용되었다. 설명변수로써는 회사 규모, 회사의 시장가치, 인적 자산 투자, 무형자산, 성장 기회, 자본 집약도 등이 모델의 설명력을 높이기 위하여 추가적으로 사용되었다. 실증분석의 대부분의 결과는 선행 이론의 결과와 일치하였으며, 최종 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유동자산 보유가 적고 성장 가능성이 높은 회사일수록 부채 비중이 높았다. 이는 기업들이 자본조달에 있어서 유상 증자보다 부채 발행을 선호한다고 주장한 Myers의 자본조달 우선순위 이론의 결과와 일치한다. 둘째, 규모가 작은 회사일수록 유동자산 보유 비중이 높았고, 성장성이 높은 회사일수록 유동 자산의 보유 비중이 높았다. 해당 결과는 회사의 규모가 클수록 자본 조달에 대한 비용이 적기 때문에 유동 자산 보유 비율이 낮을 것이라고 주장한 김영산, 윤형덕(2001)의 결과와 일치하였고, 기업이 미래의 투자 기회를 위하여 유동 자산 보유를 많이 해야 한다는 Myers (1993) 의 주장과 일치하였다. 셋째, 인적 자산, 무형 자산과 같은 내부 역량을 위한 투자를 많이 하는 회사일수록 수익성이 높았다. 이는 성장을 결정하는 요인으로 기술이전 및 기술발전과 같은 외생 변수에 치중한 신고전주의 모델을 비판한 내생성장이론의 관점과 일치한다. 내생성장이론은 신고전주의의 성장 한계에 대한 비관적 주장을 반박하는 이론으로서, 외생적 요인 이외에도 기술 혁신, 지식, 교육 등 내생적 요인들이 실질적인 성장에 기여할 수 있다는 주장이다. 본 연구의 실증 결과도 내생성장이론과 같이 무형자산, 인적 자산 투자가 실제로 기업의 수익성에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 추가적으로, 본 연구에 사용된 실증 연구 모델을 통하여 주요 가설로 검정된 시사점 이외에 다양한 실증결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 해당 내용들은 다음과 같다. 기업의 수익성은 부채 비율과 음의 상관 관계를 나타냈다. 이 결과 역시 Myers(1993) 의 주장과 일치하는 결과이다. 그리고 부채 비율은 유동 자산 비중과 음의 상관관계를 보였다. 이는 부채의 절세 효과가 잉여 현금 흐름을 증가시킨다는 Jensen과 Meckling의 주장과는 상반된 결과를 보였다. 본 연구는 한국의 전자 제조업을 대상으로 실증분석을 하였다는 점에서 그 한계를 가지고 있다. 하지만, 이 연구로부터 도출해낸 시사점은 한국의 대표 산업에 대한 실증 분석이라는 점에서 그 의미가 있다. 또한, 재무 관리 분야의 주요 의제로 부각된 자본 구조, 유동성 비중, 수익성에 관련한 이론적인 주장들을 가장 최근의 재무 데이터를 이용하여 폭넓게 실증분석 하였다는 점에서 더 큰 의미를 찾을 수 있다. 본 연구를 한국의 전자산업 이외 전 산업으로 확장시켜 수행한다면 더 큰 시사점을 얻을 수 있을 것으로 생각하며, 본 연구를 통한 시사점이 국내 기업의 재무관리에 있어서 작은 도움이 될 수 있었으면 하는 바램으로 연구를 마무리 한다.

      • 모바일 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스의 장애요인 분석과 극복전략 : 사례 중심

        Concept of cloud computing is being familiar with our life. It had been shown that Gartner selected clouding computing as one of the 10 IT strategic technologies from 2009 to 2011. Several global companies, major research centers and Korean conglomerates are considering clouding computing as the key technology and strategic market for long term view and try to provide more competitive services in this area. Since Apple launched I-Phone, the number of products related with cloud computing service such as Smart-phone and Tablet PC have shaped cloud computing service as one part in our life. While cloud computing had been one of most attention technologies in 2009 in computing industry, this report insists that mobile cloud computing will have attention in 2010. Mobile cloud computing, intergrated cloud computing and mobile service, cloud be defined that providing cloud computing service through mobile devices. Although expanding cloud computing services from corporate to personal customer can provide people more convenient life, cloud computing as business opportunity is not clearly positive so far. This Study has been designed to forecast of cloud computing market, fast growing IT service, and to discuss the strategies for overcoming barriers in hardware, software and other part for shaping cloud computing market more profitable and attractive.

      • 수소스테이션 인프라 보급을 위한 초기 기술사업화 단계의 비즈니스모델 비교분석

        ABSTRACT Many advanced countries have striven for supremacy of hydrogen economy. This competition between countries is getting harder because hydrogen economy is expected to be a solution against global warming issues and energy security. To reach ideal hydrogen economy, there are lots of obstacles. Especially, the supply of hydrogen station still has lots problems which are related to delivery, production, storage, technology validation though hydrogen station is most important role in hydrogen economy. In this thesis, we try to make business models which can stimulate market development of hydrogen station. The purpose of these suggested business model are reducing a market mature time of hydrogen infrastructure especially in early stage of technology commercialization process. And my contributions in this thesis are summarized as following 3points. First one is that we summarize business model characters as a framework and we supplemented two factors of investors and customers respective. Second one is that we suggested Freeconomics, emission trading, price structure, small stockholders and vertical integrated company business model. And the last one is we evaluated those business model through business model framework and strategic points assessments. These results show that Type1, Freeconomics business model and Type 5, vertical integrated company are more effective and get high strategic values than the other model. These two business model is expected to effectively reduce the settlement time of hydrogen station market.

      • STEPI 기술혁신활동조사 통계에서 본 혁신의 유형에 따른 기업실적 변화에 관한 연구: 한국 제조기업 중심으로

        We studied the effect of innovation activity on company performance and investigated which types of innovation were most effective to the growth of manufacturing firms. Samples were divided into two categories: large size companies and small-and-medium size companies according to classification of the Korean Government. The study used data from “Technology Innovation Activity Survey” of manufacturing industry, which was conducted by the Science & Technology Policy Institute (STEPI) in 2008. The survey was conducted from 2005 through 2007 in order to monitor technology innovation activities of Korean manufacturing firms. In this study, technology innovation activity was categorized by four different types of innovation: product, process, organization, marketing innovation. We found that the effect of innovation activity on company performance varied according to size of company, and that there existed a significant difference in performance among the types of innovation. Exercising innovation activity and company performance does not always have positive correlation. The effect of innovation activity on company performance differed between large size companies and small-and-medium size companies. Innovation showed positive effects on the performance in the case of large companies especially process innovation and organization innovation. In the case of small-and-medium companies, they failed to show statistically significant association between innovation activity and company performance. Fast growing companies actively exercising innovation don’t show higher performance. However slow growing companies, actively exercising innovation showed higher performance especially product, process and organization innovation. We have analyzed the effect of combination of innovation. A combination of process and organization innovation resulted in the best performance for large companies with positive performance. Large companies showed a highest performance when they applied two types of innovation at the same time although most companies applied all four types of innovation. Large companies concentrating its resources into smaller number of innovation showed a better performance. Innovation activity did not make a better performance for both fast growing small and-medium companies and fast growing large companies. On the other hand, for small-and-medium companies, actively exercising innovation showed a higher performance. In the case of small-and-medium companies, it was desirable to concentrate on product innovation in order to maximize the company performance.

      • A study of FMD disposal technology

        In recent times, many livestock were settled in very short time, So it was difficult to keep the rule about livestock disposal. Also, We could discover weak point of detailed criteria. Possibility of 2nd environment pollution was brought up and variety of disposal technology issue came to the fore. Carcass disposal means to kill dead livestock and manufacture feeds and fertilizer with dead ones. Main disposal technologies are burial, Incineration, Rendering, Composting and etc. Main countries like a America and Japan was using burial, Incineration and Rendering. However, other technology was demanded. If we see each country’s rule, we can find difference of priority order of carcass disposal. Disposal technology is also distinctive. Each disposal technology have pros and cons in relative cost, disposal rate, bio-security. Incineration, Rendering and Composting could be appropriate method in mass carcass disposal. Prevention of Environment pollution in Buried place, movement of carcass, disinfection system, on-the-spot disposal machine and development of new disposal technology are needed.

      • 오픈 API 기반 개방형 플랫폼 비즈니스 모델의 성공요인 및 전략도출에 관한 연구: 이베이 Open eBay Apps 중심으로

        Many global Internet companies introduce successfully an open business model using Open API. But Korea Internet companies are remaining at development stage. This study aims to find out the success factors of the open platform business model based on open API and suggest the strategy of using the open platform business model to Korea Internet companies. This research approaches four perspectives of open platform business model to understand the open platform business model based on open API. There are 1) Business Model, 2) Technology, 3) Environment, 4) Organization. Using four perspectives, this study analysis Open eBay Apps which is the success case of open platform business model. Through case study of Open eBay Apps, this study figures out an advanced strategies that online company has to provide an investment of open platform development consistently and supporting an own open platform developer actively as core business partner. Finally, open platform business model has to satisfy the reliance between open platform provider and user.

      • 실물옵션 가격결정법을 이용한 도시광산사업의 경제성 분석: 정부의 전략적 R&D 투자방향 설정에 관한 연구.

        Utilization of resources has been of great interest in these days, particularly in waste metal resources. Although a large amount of waste are generated in every year, such precious elements from the wastes has only in part been recycled or recovered in practice. The government must pay more attend to the utilization of waste metals, and support technical development, policy implications and establishment of the national data base. As a possible alternative to DCF (Traditional Discounted Cash Flow Method), OPM (Option Pricing Model) has drawn academic attentions for the last a few decades. However, it has failed to replace traditional DCF method practically due to its mathematical complexity. This paper introduces a Real Option Approach specifically adjusted for the Unban Mining (Recycling Waste Metal Resources) Projects. We add market information and industry-specific features into the model so that the model remains objective as well as realistic after the adjustment. To improve the adaptability of Real Option Approach specifically to the Unban Mining Projects, we use Monte Carlo Simulation and Binomial Option Pricing Model for the analysis. Although the model introduced in this paper is still simple and reflects limited reality, we expect an improvement in applicability of Real Option Approach for the evaluation of Urban Mining Projects.

      • 유럽 신화학물질 관리제도(REACH) 에 대한 국내 화학 기업의 대응 전략

        REACH (Registration, Evaluation, and Authorization of Chemicals) is the strongest chemical regulations in the world. It addresses the production and use of chemical substances, and their potential impacts on both human health and the environment. If chemicals over 1 ton/year are produced in EU region or imported to EU region, the chemicals should be appropriately ‘registered’ and ‘reported’. However, the registration process is extremely complex and costly. The objective of the thesis is to propose the compliance strategy of Korean chemical companies to EU REACH program. The strategy consists of two folds. The first part is the cost reduction strategy for REACH registration process. The second part is the supplier management strategy. In the cost reduction strategy, we analyzed the registration costs and suggested the cost reduction strategy to each cost factor. In the supplier management strategy, the chemicals are grouped into four sections based on their supply chain characteristics, that is, ‘who is making the chemicals’ and ‘where the chemicals are exported to’. The proposed strategies are applicable to other countries which will adopt REACH.
