요한복음에 나타난 예수의 신적 존재에 관한 이해 : 제 10장 22-39절을 중심으로
이상수 평택대학교 피어선신학전문대학원 2010 국내석사
This dissertation is to study the meaning of Jesus as God in the Gospel of John chapter 10. It's aim is to explain the interpretation of God and Jesus's self understanding of God. The high-Christology message behind Gospel of John which the author wants to convey is "Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God"(20:31). Thus in Gospel of John chapter 5 to 10 deals with the blasphemy controversy of Jesus as God with the Jews during which Jesus states "I and the Father are one"(10:30). Part one and two of this dissertation deals with the identity of "I" which will be the focus of study and how the author of the Gospel of John understood Jesus as God. It will also examine the identity and the meaning of the "I" and how it was used during the rebuttal to blasphemy in the respect to the monotheism of Judaism. In part three of this dissertation, the identity of "I" can be concluded as the following. First, the identity of "I" is "Son of God"(10:33). But also 'he was the One with God'(1:1; 8:58). John's declaration of Jesus as God meant that John's community acknowledged that Jesus is the One with God and therefore their God. Second, Jesus and Father are one(10:30). Therefore Jesus is a being that shows and let people know God(14:7). Only in Gospel of John does Jesus himself proclaim that he is God. Thus this dissertation concludes Gospel of John differs from other Gospels in that Jesus's self proclaim as the One with Father(10:30) is high-Christology and the foundation of 'Trinity-theology of Jesus as God'.

육천은(Lu Tianen) 평택대학교 피어선신학전문대학원 2021 국내석사
Gibeonites Story in the Book of Joshua is still a controversy about the contradiction between the Torah and the covenant. This thesis will find the influence of ḥerem in Torah and conclude the Gibeonites Story by analyzing the text and comparing scholars’ ideas on this event. Chapter two will analyze the history of research by collecting the ideas of scholars about the Gibeonites Story. Chapter three and four will explore the text of Joshua 9-10:15, and conclude the influence of ḥerem and refer to the purpose of ḥerem and speculate how did God react to this event. This thesis adopts the existing canon as a basis for this study and concludes from the Torah’s perspective, and deals with the controversial problems. The Gibeonites Story in the perspective of the Torah will have a different point of view. Although the Gibeonites had been guilty of deceiving the Israelites, they were not without merit. Although Israel has the right to exercise ḥerem, it was not free to burn or plunder. Only God accepted the sinful Gibeonites and forgave the negligent Israelites.
A STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF CHRISTIANITY ON CHAKHESANG NAGA
VEPRASHU VENUH 평택대학교 피어선신학전문대학원 2019 국내박사
This research discovers the ways in which the Chakhesang Naga have encountered various types of changes due to Christianity. The Chakhesang Naga remained outside the influence of modern civilization for many years, living a life completely isolated in the deep mountainous forest. Their traditional beliefs were considered to be the best and changing over to a new way of life and thought was regarded as inferior one. This system of independence and isolation has built the Chakhesang Naga determination of self-rule, self-identity and self-protection against foreign rule. They were left alone to lead a life according to their own, following their own customary laws in all matters. They depend on certain beliefs which enslave them under the domain of superstitious. They also believed that certain stones, trees, mountains and rivers, cannot be touched as they are believed to have supernatural powers and touching them will invite calamities or destruction to the individual or to a society as a whole. According to their belief it is demons that cause pains, dangers or panic including sudden dead of human being. The evil spirits are therefore, believed to have caused all kinds of troubles to the existence of humankind. Fear of the harmful demons gives the feeling of insecurity. Hence, they try to appease them. With a view to appease the harmful demons, sacrifices were often made. Evil spirits are being appeased and appeasement is thus, a general character of the Chakhesang Naga. After long confinement within themselves, the Chakhesang Naga gradually came in contact with the British government and Christianity. As a result of this contact, and relationship in one way or the other, their isolation was broken, marking the beginning of modern way of life, and departure from their old pattern of life. With the coming of Christianity things turned out to be outstandingly different. Christianity has to a great extent, dispelled all sorts of superstitious beliefs from the mind of the Chakhesang Naga. Over and above, the strong beliefs in the demonic power has been fully replaced by Christian faith. Christian believe that demons still exist but do not put faith in them anymore. Hence Christian faith has superiority over the demons. It is the spirit of Christianity that actually uprooted fear and superstitions. It is Christ, the savior of humankind that brought this change in the life of the people. This study reveals that the coming of Christianity in chakhesang Naga society has brought in a great change. Modern education as the vehicle for spreading Christianity has paved the way of the people and connects them to their outside world. Beginning from the advent of Christianity until the present, the Chakhesang Naga has undergone significant transformation. Almost from the beginning, Christianity was associated with this transformation. Christianity thus played a major role in bringing about changes among the chakhesang community. It transformed the Chakhesang Naga culture and contributed towards the development of modern education, improved sanitation and better living condition. It gave them a new philosophy of life, a new status in relation to the rest of the world, and a new consciousness of self-identity. Thus, the contribution of Christianity on the socio-cultural life of the Chakhesang Naga has been significant.
