This research recognizes whether volunteer's experience influences in attitude change toward the mentally ill about and it wishes to become basic research to reduce social prejudice of the mentally ill. The purpose of the present study attempted in order to investigate in An-song citizens. 1) volunteer's experience that effect about attitude toward the mentally ill. 2) that effect about attitude toward the mentally ill. 3) volunteer's satisfaction that effect about attitude toward the mentally ill. The subjects were citizens(N=314) residing in An-song. The instrument used to measure attitude were community attitudes toward the mentally ill(CAM1) scale. The results were as follows. The First, There was a significant difference between volunteer's experience and Authoritarianism, social restrictiveness, community mental health ideology. The second, There was a significant difference between volunteer's education and Benevolence. The third, There was a significant difference between volunteer's and Authoritarianism, Benevolence, Social restrictiveness, community mental health ideology. As a result, volunteer's experience and volunteer's education can know that attitude toward the mentally ill is affirmative. The positive volunteer's experience activity accomplishes and you must come. volunteer's education against is various system program development, the school, the government offices, that the program which is various from the company must become accomplished it sees.

This study was to examine the relationship between an employing climate of mentally handicapped and the working conditions and job satisfaction perceived by a mentally handicapped worker. This study's subjects were 88 persons(males=61 and females=27) who are mentally handicapped workers in Seoul, kyonggi province. The questionnaires used in this study were a job satisfaction scale, incorporating the Job Descriptive Index(JDI) developed by Smith, Kendall and Hullin (1969), and employing climate Scale of mentally handicapped, which constructed by the researcher. The result of factor Analysis the employing climate of mentally handicapped lead us to draw 3 significant factors and we have named them as the following: support and consideration, employing management, suitability on employing. The results of the study are as follows: Firstly, there is considerable relation between the employing climate of mentally handicapped and the job satisfaction perceived by the mentally handicapped worker. The employing climate factors such as support and consideration and employing management had some relations with the job satisfaction but had no relation with the suitability on employing. Secondly, the greatest influence on Mentally handicapped worker' job satisfaction is support and consideration of employing climate subordinates. Thirdly, the more positive a respondent perceived the employing climate to be, the higher the job satisfaction. Fourthly, the respondents' working conditions(type of employment, type of occupation, rank, days of work in a week, work hours, salary, the period of occupation, total number of workers in one's work place) and the job satisfaction did not show significant difference. The intention of changing one's job only had significant difference. The results, the employing climate of mentally handicapped has the relation with on mentally handicapped worker's job satisfaction while personal relations climate factors contribute strongly to mentally handicapped worker' job satisfaction.
