        The advancement in computer technologies and telecommunications network has brought about tremendous changes in every sectors of economy and society in the post-industrialization era. Under these changes, the local real estate market is not regarded as exceptional. Customers expectations for better services in the property market has greatly increased. In addition, with the opening up of the real estate market, more and more foreign property management firms specializing in providing comprehensive services are rushing into the domestic market. All theses challenges faced by domestic companies proving real estate-related service might be efficiently addresses with the proactive utilizations of computer technologies and telecommunications networks. By doing so, the domestic firms might be able to secure the competitive edge over foreign firms and expand the business scope incorporating consulting services. To cope with these changes, the government amended "Real Estate Brokerage Act" to lay the groundwork for building real estate information network and introducing new types of brokering services. In addition, the liberalization of the property market opens the door wide to foreign property firms providing such services as brokerages, appraisals, management and consulting. As a result, Korean real estate companies come to face harsh competition with the foreign firms boasting advanced service know-hows. Under the situation, Korean real estate companies have no choice but to build an advanced and efficient system of providing related services to customers to survive the cut throat competition with foreign firms. In a related move, a number of real estate information networks have been set up to provide various information on the real estate market to customers in an efficient manner. Unfortunately, however, a stumbling bloc is standing in the way of developing the industry: when a transaction is made, most participating customers avoid their name or the amount of transaction being exposed to others. Along with this, the government has failed to provide needed support to the industry as well. Currently, a number of real estate information network are providing real estate-related information and services to customers. But due to such causes as the unchanged understanding of the features of real estate transactions, lack of fund faced by many companies in operating such networks and lack of know-how, the market of information networks hasn't matured yet. Based on these, the features of the Korean real estate market and the current position of the real estate information networks, this paper aims at identifying the problems faced by the industry and presenting resolutions to boost the real estate transactions through the expansion of the inforamtion networks.

      • 한·일 공공기관의 소비자정보 제공과 두 나라 주부소비자의 소비자정보 수집과 활용 행태에 관한 비교 연구

        With rapid development of telecommunication and globalization, most kinds of activities in the fields of industry, economy and research as well as consumption are being performed within a single market over the world. This study focuses on comparing how the two public agencies, Korea Consumer Protection Board(KCPB) in Korea and Japan Consumer Information Center(JCIC) in Japan in charge of providing consumer information, are offering consumer for various information. Housewives in both comparative collect and use consumer information are researched thought a poll taken in about individual consumers. Beside this study surveys how after housewives in Korea contact the information provided by the KCPB. According to the survey result, the two agencies have a similar system of collecting consumer information, in that they mainly use a consumer counseling center where many kinds of consumer complaints are lodged. The consumer counseling center in the KCPB is located in only capital city seoul, and has a limited c capability of gathering consumer information from a specific area without covering wide range of information from across the country. The survey that Korean housewives are more to collect consumer information is necessary before buying than housewives of Japan. In another survey on housewives knowledge of the KCPB, the half of respondents consumer that they know little the KCPB. The rat of the used to get information on the KCPB thought monthly magazine, the Age of the consumer or computer network sobitel, run by the agency. In parallel with lowering trade barrier, the subjects that consumers can choose are also being increased. Thesis suggests that the roles of the KCPB and housewives take the following actions. To improve the KCPB'S role regarding to consumer information. First, the KCPB shall set up develope educational program suitable for housewives and regularly run this program. Second, the KCPB shall set up computer network by which consumers can access to the variety of information at lower cost and anytime. Third, the KCPB shall link it's computer network to those of international computer organizations to enable domestic consumers to obtain information of foreign goods. To improve how housewives collect and use consumer information. First, housewives are recommended that they recognize that they recognize the importance of collecting or utilizing information as a way of preventing unwanted losses resulting from fraudulent sales. Second, they are required to positively use telecommunication such ad computer network and Internet, thus to pick up useful information.

        Glabalization strategy of a firm is not to assume each strategy per each nation but to serve the whole global market with an identical strategy for a unique market. This thesis aimed to study the necessity of enterprise's globalization and the application of information system as a strategy for survival under global business environment. Therefore, information system which supports global management of firm should be cared and invested continuously for the future. But it should deeply take into account of several things before commiting investments, such as communication between subsidiaries in global, goal supplier, consummer's connection, cultural difference, nation's own organization, global strategy and so on. This thesis presents the effective model of Information System for global management through literature review. Then this evaluates the proposed model using a case study of firm K. Through analysis of the firm K's global management strategy and Information System's characteristics a this thesis presented Information System development direction for the future. An Important finding of the study, is that Information System environment should fit the firm's management strategy and development stage direction.

        The level of information management is highly related with technology development. As the information technology has been developed, the information management was moved from document processing level to information technology level. Currently the information management level in Korea is the early stage of information resource management (IRM). Because of the lack of IRM concept and techniques, the information resource management has not been systematically organized even with enormous amount of invaluable information in public sector. There are three problems in the informationization in public sector: the duplicate investment due to individual system development based on each department or each task, inefficiency on operation management and user dissatisfaction. The management of four major social insurance policies (Pension, Medical, Employment, and Industrial Accident Compensation -- PHEC) clearly shows the above three problems so that policy holders have been suffered because the system was designed for suppliers not for users (policy holders). Therefore, this study was designed to investigate the above three problems in the PHEC system to improve the existing system through basic principles of IRM, integration system formation, operation plan for social insurance computing center and manpower operation plan. Basic principle for IRM of the PHEC is to build a computing center (Social Insurance Computing Center -- SICC). This center integrates all computing resources from four individual organizations to build the information system to provide integrated services. This system utilizes existing computing resources to provide an one-stop service to the nation through business process reengineering (BPR) and improvement of the existing laws and regulations. Regarding the operation and managemen for the center, the existing four individual PHEC organizations should be maintained until new laws and regulations are substituted. The SICC utilizes the existing computing resources from PHEC in the SICC and prepares servers to develop the integrated information system. The SICC build a network with 10 local metropolitan cities or provinces. Each local center provides mass print-out service including integrated bill of PHEC and develops database and application softwares for locals. Each branch office prepares the existing terminals to provide the one-stop PHEC insurance service through an integrated user system. Organizations such as private businesses, hospitals and the related networks unify the information system through SICC while public places open PC communication terminals and kiosks for 24 hours to improve the usability of the service for the nation. In order to accomplish the above objectives, there are two alternatives to found the SICC. One is to build a new center and the other is to improve the existing center. To build a new center is preferred because it is better to moderate the acute confrontation between related governmental agencies to accomplish integrated service of PHEC insurances even with high cost and personnel management. This will attain integration-link and outsourcing effects, which are the cores of the IRM improvement plan of the government. In the long run, this will provide infrastructure that enables the early integration of operation management organizations and services of four major social insurances, which have been criticized for their loose operation.

      • 상호운용성 향상을 위한 국방정보체계 구조기반 모형에 관한 연구

        우리군은 21세기 통합전 및 정보전의 시대적인 흐름에 부합하기 위하여 국방정보체계 건설에 많은 노력과 투자를 지속적으로 실시해 왔다. 그러나 그 성과에 있어서는 정보체계간 상호운용성이 보장되지 못하는 등 부진성을 면치못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 이러한 문제는 상호운용성을 보장하기 위한 추가적인 성능개선사업으로 이어져 불필요한 예산과 노력의 낭비를 초래하고 있으며, 전력화 지연요인이 되고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 「국방정보체계 구조기반(Defense Information System Architecture Framework : DIAF)」 의 모형(Model)을 제기하는데 있다. 연구의 주요내용은 첫째, 미국의 구조기반의 통합구조를 준용하여 구체적인 체계소요를 도출하고 분석할 수 있는 통합구조 접근모형을 제시하였으며 두번째로, 국방정보체계 사업추진절차상의 문서체계를 분석하여 통합구조의 모형과 연계하여 제시하였다. 그리고 문서체계의 문서별 서식항목을 분석하여 세부적인 구조별 산출물을 각 구조적 관점에 연계하여 정립하였다. 끝으로, 국방정보체계의 통합구조 및 문서체계, 산출물의 연계관계를 통합화하여 모형으로 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻을 수 있는 기대효과는 먼저, 국방정보체계 문서체계의 상 · 하위 개념을 정립하여 연계성을 보장함으로써 정보체계 개발의 전체적인 통제능력을 증진하여, 국방합동지휘통제체계의 실현을 가능하게 하는 수단을 제공할 수 있고, 둘째는 체계개발시 정형화되고 통일된 모델링 기법(표기법)을 제공함으로써 개발의 용이성을 제공하고, 유지보수하기가 쉽다. 셋째는 국방정보체계의 전반에 대한 통합의 개념을 적용한 모델을 제공함으로써 정보체계간 상호운용성을 향상시킬 수가 있다. 또한 모델링 기법을 이용한 모듈화 개발이 가능함으로 이식성과 확장성, 재사용성을 제공한다. The object of this paper is to present the Architecture Framework Model of Defence Information System for solving the problem of interoperability when develope information systems now. The Principal contents of study follows. First, I presented a approach model of our integration architecture throughout applying a integrated architecture of Architecture Framework which the DoD in America have developed, for analyzing the requirement when information system will be develeped. Secondly, presented a model to be connected with integrated architecture, after analyzing the document structure of business process procedure in defence information system. secondly constructed connectively the architecture products at view of operation, system and technique architecture, after analyzing each a item of form in document structure. lastly, presented a total model of connected locations about integrated architecture and document structure, products. And the expectant effects of study follows. First, It supply the total control means of defence information system. Secondly, supply the easiness of developement and maintenance. secondly, supply a advancement of interoperability and is impossibile the reuse.

        Today, Peoples' craving for travel is changing diversely than ever. Therefore, by way of fulfilling this growing trend, we should develop tourism resources and products desperately for those people who want to enjoy their lifestyles. Tourism surplus countries, such as United States, France, Spain, England, Germany and Switzerland encourage and support casino industry in many ways. Judging from this, we can assume that casino business is one of the major tourism attractions. The reason why these countries are encouraging and supporting casino industry is that it creates employment opportunities for locals, generates tax revenue and contributes to local economy. But most of all, Casino industry helps to improve trade balance by taking foreign currency. However, Korea's casino industry was considered as antisocial activities in the. past, maybe up to now, based upon very strict oriental morality. For this negative connotation and lack of public relations to the general public, the majority of marketing strategy was very conservative. In tourism surplus countries, casino industry is considered as perfectly legal leisure and entertainment industry not only to the general public but also to the foreign visitors especially. For this reason, those government encourage casino business as one of essential tourism products. Therefore, Korean government should encourage casino industry by loosening up all the restriction currently imposed. In this point a view, this study compared casino marketing activities among the big time casinos in Korea, United States and Malaysia for providing efficient casino marketing strategy. In Las Vegas, United States alone, there are more than 200 casinos are currently operating. Most of casinos in Las Vegas are not just a casino. It has many attractions, convention facilities for family entertainment. Even though some Islamics are prohibited to enter casinos in Genting Highlands, Malaysia, many casino customers are locals, because of their aggresive marketing strategies and variety of amenities to choose from. But in Korea, because of casino admission is only allowed to foreigners, marketing is heavily rely on very conservative personal contact rather than utilizing mess media and limited to Japan and Southeast Asia. Considering the economic importance of the casino industry through foreign currency earnings, following areas should be considered when promoting efficient marketing plans. First, advertisement to the general public is eagerly necessary, by way of getting rid of those negative connotation and put positive image that casino is not a place where a lot of cons are gathering, but where everybody can enjoy sound leisure activities. This can be done by utilizing media and sponsorship advertisement. Also, foreign advertisement cost can be reduced by closely relating with airline business, tourism business, hospitality business and leisure business. Second, junket business, one of personal contact marketing methods, shoud be utlized by holding a regular meeting and training session for those junket representatives. Third, when event planner intends any sales promotion actovity, he/she should consider the event which is based upon not only main targeted customers inclination, seasonal distinction but cultural character as well as gaming related event. Fourth, casino industry should expand their public sponsorship program by way of changing general publics' negative connotation. This can be done by releasing press kit containing casino industry's contribution to trade balance, tax revenue, employment opportunity, and local economy. Lastly, information which is related to casino customers should be stored in data base. By utilizing this, casino can plan different marketing strategies to specific customer and can create new customer as well as instigate to visit current customers.

      • 시스템 保安對策에 관한 硏究 : 스키리닝 라오투방식 방화벽의 보안 모델을 중심으로

        This study is about firewall's design. Which is useful to protect from the appropriation of information and the infringement by the access denied user on the network system. The author tried to find the method to design the best security without reducing the performance of the total system in order to use the firewall in the ethenet or the small size network. To do this, the configuration of the user, and the security policy etc. were analyzed equipment suitable to the firewall design were selected by this work. We may consider that is measuring a term's traffic on network, the equipment are selected by the process ability of the maximums traffic to do not decline performance of the total system. This way can prevent the efficiency reduced by assigning the superior equipment to bastion host causing the load increase in other systems, or the process delay, the interrupt etc. occur by assigning the inferior equipment to bastion host to use the firewall. Therefore, we can achieve higher level of security by measure the maximum traffic of the network system and designing the security model by the processing ability.

      • 대학 이미지광고의 효과에 관한 연구 : 대학신입생을 중심으로

        PR is greatly emphasized in all social departments, as much as we call modem society as 'This age of PR', and its effect is discovered everywhere. In this PR age, University recognizes the importance of PR largely as time goes on as a substructure of social organization as well as other social organizations. Reflecting this feature of University, University executes the University image advertisement, a kind of University PR, competitively. Namely, University forms new image of University through all mass media channel, emphasizes by far an exist image, and executes the University image advertisement for the purpose of gaining a friendly attitude from the external factors of University, by deviating from the advertizement of the type of newspaper advertisement practiced already. This study analyzes how University image advertizement is shown to the freshman and how much effective it is. Together with this, the purpose of this treatise is to suggest the effective device of University image advertizement and University publicity. For this, the theoretical study on University image advertizement based on a literature research was practiced previously, the real state of University image advertizement by media was researched, and the effect of University image advertizement was estimated though a questionnaire research. In the literature research, I examined University image advertizement and its peculiarity, the estimation method of University image advertizement, and the development process of University image advertizement of Korea. And together with this I examined the environmental change of University and the exist previous study on University image advertizement. The questionnaire research for estimating the effect of University image advertizement was practiced by subjecting 232 freshmen of Inchen University which executed the most outlay for advertisement in all 4 media in 1997. As the content of questionnaire, the emotional and sentimental attitude on University image advertizement and University image advertizement where they attend was asked with 7 points measure, and its composed of the questions asking the image change after meeting University image advertizement and the effect University image advertizement on the application motive. The data analysis was treated statistically by using SAS/PC^(+) program, and the analysis methods used were like followings; the frequency analysis, X^(2) verification test, ANOVA, the correlation analysis, simple regression analysis, etc. First, examining the real state of University image advertizement by media, centering the year of 1996 and 1997, the outlay for advertisement increased 2 times. The main execution medium of University image advertizement was all newspaper in 1996, 1997, and in the case of the local University, newly established University, and professional college, TV was used. And, the result of a questionnaire research is summed like followings; First, most of freshmen met University image advertizement, but few times. Second, the medium executed University image advertizement was mainly newspaper, but the medium through which freshmen met University image advertizement was TV, and freshmen met it relatively much through subway advertisement and radio. Third, the good image was formed to freshmen, after they met University image advertizement, but the change was a little. Fifth, University image advertizement didn't work much as a factor of University application motive. To improve the problem of University image advertizement based on above results, first, University image advertizement has the different character with other advertisement or other University advertisement, and for this, the expression creative needs. And, University image advertizement should be executed by considering the peculiarity of advertisement media, and the continuous execution of University image advertizement needs, because the change of University image is impossible in short time. Though the University publicity is important, most of all University should recognize that the most effective short cut of University publicity is to accumulate the inner ability of University.

      • 컴퓨터 2000年 年度表記 問題解決 方案에 關한 硏究 : 응용프로그램 및 데이터베이스를 中心으로

        21 세기를 약 2년여 남겨 놓은 현재 컴퓨터 2000년 연도표기 문제는 정보산업계가 직면하고 있는 가장 중요하고 어려운 문제 가운데 하나이다. 두 자리의 연도 표기는 세기(Century)를 구분하지 못하기 때문에 두 자리수 연도 데이터에 근거해 적용되는 모든 어플리케이션과 시스템에 영향을 미치게 된다. 이로 인해 발생하는 혼란은 모든 연산에서 복합적으로 나타나며, 모든 소프트웨어 분야에서 명백하게 나타나지만 다음과 같은 4가지 즉, 기능상 날짜를 필수부분으로 포함하고 있는 소프트웨어, 파일에 저장된 날짜 정보를 기준으로 정보를 처리하는 소프트웨어, 날짜를 영구적으로 저장하는 소프트웨어, 날짜정보를 화면에 표시하거나 출력물의 헤더에 프린트하는 소프트웨어 유형의 어플리케이션에서 특히 그러하다. 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터 2000년 연도표기 문제가 중대한 사안임을 강조하였으며, 문제점을 분석하고 문제 해결을 위한 방안을 수립하는 과정에서 주요성공요인 및 추진전략을 제시하였다. 기술적 해결방법으로 데이터 기초방식(Data-Based Method)의 데이터 확장방법 (Data Expansion)을 이용하였으며, 방법론을 통한 문제해결의 전략적 접근을 시도하였다. 이러한 기술적, 전략적 해결방안을 구체화하기 위하여 D 생명보험회사에서 연도표기문제 해결을 위한 프로토타이핑 시스템을 개발함으로써 운영 모델을 제시하였으며, 이러한 최적방안에 대한 실행 및 평가를 통하여 결론을 도출하였다. 끝으로, 결론에서는 문제해결에 대한 시급성 및 중요성을 다시 한번 강조하였으며, 문제대처에 대한 대응자세의 미진함을 지적, 개선안을 제시하였다. Only about 2 years before the 21st century, year 2000 presentation is one of the most urgent and difficult problems faced by industries. Since 2-digit year presentation couldn't distinguish centuries, all applications and systems using that 2-digit presentation are to be influenced. All kinds of confusions are expected in all fields of softwares, especially in the following 4 areas. - software containing dates as functional requirements, software handling information based on the dates stored in the files, software storing dates permanently, and software displaying and printing dates on screens and reports. This study stresses and analyzes the seriousness of year 2000 problems, and suggests critical success factors and strategies to overcome the issue. Data-based data expansion method has been utilized technically, and strategic approach has been tried methodologically. To concrete these technical and strategic approaches, this study provides a operational model of Y2K prototyping systems of a D insurance company, then derives a conclusion through the implementation and evaluation of the above scheme. Finally, the conclusion restates the urgency and importance of the impending problem, points out the reluctance in coping with the issue, and suggests the ideas to tackle the problem.

        본 연구는 다매체 다채널의 급변하는 방송환경속에서 경쟁력 향상을 위한 케이블TV의 프로그램 특성화 사례연구로서 불교텔레비전의 <선재스님의 푸른맛 푸른요리>프로그램을 연구대상으로 삼아 분석하여 양질의 프로그램 개발과 질적 향상을 도모하고자 하였다. 매체환경의 다변화속에서 케이블TV는 채널간 전문화와 차별화를 전략으로 다채널 전문프로그램 공급분야로 분류된 방송매체로서 채널별 전문영역에 따른 프로그램의 다양화와 특성화를 목적으로 출발하였다. 프로그램의 특성화는 매체간 채널간 프로그램의 차별화 전략이다. 개방화, 국제화, 정보화, 세계화 추세에 다매체 다채널의 무한경쟁 속에서 살아남기 위한 생존 전략인 것이다. 불교텔레비전 프로그램의 특성화는 종교방송이라는 일반적인 일차적 의미의 특성화와 더불어, 더 나아가서는 다양한 수용자로부터 폭넓은 관심을 끌어낼 수 있는 독창적인 프로그램의 지속적인 개발을 통해 차별화를 획득함으로써 프로그램 특성화의 이차적 의미를 형성할 수 있는 것이다. 본 논문은 크게 이론적 배경과 프로그램 분석의 두 부분으로 구성된다. 이론적 배경에서는 뉴미디어 시대의 불교텔레비전의 역할과 위상, 그리고 불교사상에 근원을 둔 사찰음식문화에 대해 살펴보았고, 요리프로그램의 성격과 현황을 간단히 개관하였다. 연구대상인 불교텔레비전 <선재스님의 푸른맛 푸른요리>프로그램의 분석은 본 연구자의 현장 경험을 토대로 한 참여관찰방법(Participant Observation Research)을 이용하였다. 참여관찰은 PD와 작가를 포함한 제작 관련자를 직접 인터뷰 하였으며, 이와함께 프로그램의 구성안과 대본, 주간 편성표 둥의 자료들을 간략하게 분석하였다. 케이블TV 업계의 경제적 어려움과 열악한 제작환경에도 불구하고, <선재스님의 푸른맛 푸른요리> 프로그램은 전통사찰음식을 대중에 소개하기 위해 사찰음식만의 독특한 재료를 사용하며 사찰음식의 전문가를 진행자로 기용하고 있다. 저예산의 책정에 맞춘 및 사찰의 후원(주방)을 재현한 세트와 전통요리기구의 사용, 진행자의 개량가사(袈娑)와 개량한복 등의 전통의상은 사찰음식문화의 위생적이며 깔끔한 식생활 환경을 보여준다. 이밖에 여러가지 제작과정의 특색있는 진행은 프로그램의 특성화를 획득하게 되는 중요한 요인들이다. 진행자인 선재스님은 사찰음식에 대한 지속적인 연구와 새로운 요리법을 개발하여 소개하고 있으며, 요리에 담긴 건강정보의 출처를 불교경전에서 인용함으로써 자연스러운 포교를 펼치고 있다. 오늘날 수용자는 채널 선택권을 소유하고 있는 주인으로서 능동적이며 비판적, 적극적인 주체로 인식되고 있다. 이러한 수용자의 중요성을 인식하고 있는 이 프로그램의 제작자는 정보 전달의 정확성과 유익성을 담보로 제작에 임하고 있다. 따라서 <선재스님의 푸른맛 푸른요리> 프로그램은 사찰음식에 대한 정보와 함께 건강정보를 제공하고 있으며, 전통문화로서의 가치를 갖는 사찰음식문화의 예와 덕을 소개함으로써 가족구성원 모두에게 교육적, 정신적으로 유익한 정보를 전달하는 역할을 수행한다. 또한 포교 프로그램으로서 수용자에 강한 전파력을 갖는다. 일상적인 음식이라는 현실적 소재를 통해 불교사상을 자연스럽게 전달함으로써 포교에 기여하다. 그리고 독특한 사찰음식을 소개함은 현대인의 음식에 대한 관심의 증대와 더불어 타매체에 파급되는 효과를 갖는다. 반면에 <선재스님의 푸른맛 푸른요리> 프로그램은 이러한 긍정적인 특성과 함께 몇 가지의 문제점을 보이고 있다. 경제적인 취약성으로 인해 일정 기간마다 변화해야 할 포맷은 오랫동안 그대로 유지되고 있으며, 방송시간이 두 배로 늘었음에도 불구하고 구성의 다양화를 취하기보다는 30분간의 방송시간을 채우기 위해 내용을 반복하는 형식을 취하고 있다. 또한 스튜디오에서의 카메라 이동거리와 움직임의 제한으로 인한 화면의 단조로움에서 벗어나지 못하고 있으며, 사찰음식이라는 프로그램의 소재와 진행자인 선재스님의 특성에만 의존하여 프로그램을 진행하는 등의 문제점이 나타나고 있다. 이러한 문제점의 지적은 앞으로의 발전적인 방안의 모색에 지침이 될 것이며, 불교텔레비전의 운영정책의 변화와 제작자들의 자세에 보다 적극적인 변화를 가져올 것이다. 결과적으로 프로그램의 특성화는 생존전략 차원에서 케이블TV 업계의 매우 중요한 과제임이 분명하다. 이러한 측면에서 본 논문이 불교텔레비전의 경쟁력 향상을 위한 방안모색의 한 사례 연구로 이해되기를 기대한다. This research is a case study of Cable TV program characterization to improve the competitiveness in the midst of the broadcasting environment that media and channels of all kinds are rapidly changing, and the project of study that can develop the good program and increase its quality is the analysis of <The Blue Taste, Green Food of Buddhist Priestess Sunjae> program in the Buddhist television network(btn). In the rapidly changing media surroundings Cable TV should adopt the strategy of the specialization and differentiation between channels, and achieve the diversification and characterization of program according to the specialized channels. The program characterization is the strategy of differentiation between programs of media and channels. In the times of broadcasting's internationalization it is the strategy for existence to survive at the infinite competition. The characterization of btn program have not only meaning as the religious broadcasting in the first place, but further more can make secondary meaning through the persistent development of the ingenious items that can give rise to interest of many sided consumer. This thesis is consisted of two parts, the theoretical background and the program analysis. In the theoretical background this researcher observed btn's role and phase, the Buddhist food culture of Buddhist temple putting the basis of Buddhist ideas, and briefly surveyed the character and the present condition of the food program. This researcher analyzed <The Blue Taste, Green Food of Buddhist Priestess Sunjae> program with 'the participant observation research' based upon the work experience, interviewed with the concerned makers including producer and scripter, and to the utmost made use of the program cue sheet script, weekly plan note, and concerning materials. Although Cable TVs are faced with the economic difficulty and the poor production surroundings on the whole, <The Blue Taste, Green Food of Buddhist Priestess Sunjae> program is using the peculiar materials of Buddhist food and an expert in Buddhist food is progressing this program in order to introduce the traditional Buddhist food to the general public. Through special progress of the production course, this program can accomplish the propagation of the religious broadcasting and the program characterization. Sunjae, the master of ceremonies, with his continuous study about Buddhist food, introduces its new cookery, and he naturally propagates the Buddhist thoughts through quoting the sources of health information included the food from Buddhist scriptures. The studio sets reproducting a kitchen of the old Buddhist temple, the use of traditional cooking utensils and the traditional clothes of MC wearing the reformed surplice and Korean costume show the sanitary Buddhist food culture and the clear eating habits. Today the customer of broadcasting is recognized to be the voluntary, critical, positive subject as the owner having the right of the channel option. So the producers of this program who recognizes the importance of the customer is making the program with the accuracy and wholesomeness of communication. Therefore this program provides the food information of Buddhist temple and the health information in that food and plays a part in communicating with the constituent family members the wholesome information in terms of introducing the proprieties and morality of the Buddhist food culture as the cultural heritage. Moreover, it has strongly the spread power toward the consumer as the propagation program. It contributes to the propagation of Buddhist thoughts with the realistic material of daily food. Ultimately this program that introduces the special food of Buddhist temple has a far-reaching effect toward another media owing to high interest of the moderns about health food. On the other hand, this program has some problem. Because of the economic difficulty, the program format that must change every given period remains as it was. Despite the program time multiplies two times, this program takes the form to repeat the program content so as to fill up the broadcasting time of 30 minutes without diversifying the plot. For the restriction of camera movement in narrow studio, the scene on the screen causes the monotony. And it only impresses to depend on the program material of Buddhist food and the character of MC.Sunjae. This indication of some problem will become a guide to grope for the developmental plan, and positively change the management policy of btn and the attitude of producers. Consequently, in the aspect of survival strategy the program characterization is the important problem of Cable TV industry. So it is to be hoped that this thesis become a case study for groping the plan to increase the competitiveness of btn.
