      • Robert Schumann의「Dichterliebe Op.48」에 관한 연구

        슈만 (Robert Schumann, 1810-1856)은 독일 낭만주의 음악의 대표적인 작곡가로서 슈베르트 (Franz Schubert, 1797-1828)이후 독일의 예술 가곡 형식을 완벽하게 구축시킨 작곡가이다. 슈만의 연가곡 「시인의 사랑 (Dichterliebe Op.48)」은 하이네 (Heinrich Heine, 1797-1856)의 시를 가사로 하여 작곡된 16곡의 연가곡이다. 가사의 내용에 의해 곡을 나눈다면 제 1-6곡까지는 사랑의 기쁨을 노래하고, 제 7-14곡까지는 실연의 아픔, 그리고 마지막 두 곡은 인생의 허망함을 묘사하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 「시인의 사랑」의 분석을 통하여 슈만의 낭만주의 작곡 기법과 가곡에서 선율의 전개 등 슈만의 작품을 깊이 이해하여 보다 충실한 연주를 하고자 하였다. 먼저, 「시인의 사랑」의 분석하기 이전에 필요한 이론적 배경으로는 낭만주의의 시대적 배경과 음악에서 나타난 낭만주의, 독일 가곡의 역사적 배경과 독일 낭만주의 가곡의 특징을 알아보았다. 여기서 분석한 제 1곡, 제 2곡, 제 7곡, 제 16곡은 악곡 해설과 가사 내용, 선율의 전개, 반주의 특징과 곡 전체의 화성 및 조성의 진행을 연구하였다. 위와 같은 근거로 슈만 가곡의 특징과 작곡 의도를 이해하고, 연주하게 되면 더욱 좋은 연주가 되리라 생각된다. Robert Schumann (1810-1856) was one of the representative German composers and significant figure in musical Romanticism. He also perfected the German poetic song following after Franz Peter Schubert. Schumann's masterpiece 「Dichterliebe Op. 48」 is a collection of 16 songs based on Heinrich Heine's (1797-1856) poetry. Songs 1 through 6 are about the flowering of love, songs 7 to 14 sing of its failure while the last 2 are about the emptiness of life. Through the analysis of 「Dichterliebe Op. 48」, this thesis will focus on the understanding of schumann's romanticism composition which will contribute to the actual perfomance of the piece. The thesis will first review the background of 「Dichterliebe Op. 48」 by looking through the romanticism era, the romanticism in music, and the history of German poetic songs. The analysis of the lyrics and accompaniment along with the scales and chords of the 1st, 2nd, 7th, and 16th song have been arranged. On this basis, the Knowledge of Schumann's song and the intension of the composer will contribute to a far better perfomance of 「Dichterliebe. Op. 48」.

      • AlGaAs/GaAs HBT와 InGaP/GaAs HBT에서 소자구조가 신뢰도에 미치는영향에 대한 연구

        This paper is about the effects of device structure on the reliability in AlGaAs/GaAs HBTs and InGaP/GaAs HBTs. The devices were fabricated using SABM (Self-Aligned Base Metal), SAL(Self-Aligned Ledge), NSA(Non Self-Aligned) process, which were discriminated by the methods of the formation of the base electrode. The emitter passivation ledge having the appropriate thickness and the sufficient length was proved to the one of the solutions to improve the DC characteristics and the reliability, because it suppressed the extrinsic base surface recombination in the low and medium voltage regions. Our devices showed f_(T) and f_(max) of 26GHz in both cases of AlGaAs/GaAs and InGaP/GaAs HBTs. AlGaAs/GaAs HBTs were superior to InGaP/GaAs HBTs in power characteristics, showing P_(1dB) of 17.95dBm, power gain of 20.95dB, and power added efficiency of 49.26%. Noise characteristics were dependent on the base doping density rather than the emitter material. NF_(min) of 1.24dB and G_(a) of 19.74dB at 2GHz were obtained. And also, we have performed the accelerated life test employing the constant forward current stress of 24mA(J_(c)=20kA/㎠) at three different temperatures of 513K, 533K, and 553K for the InGaP/GaAs HBTs which showed good characteristics in DC measurements. We could extract the MTTF of 2 × 10^(7)hrs and the activation energy of 1.97eV at junction temperature of 125℃, and these values were very high compared to those of the previous works. Finally, we could conclude that the use of InGaP as the emitter material, the low base doping density of 1 × 10^(19)cm^(-3), and the application of the appropriate ledge process were very critical to improve the reliability as well as the DC characteristics.

      • ATM 백본망을 사용하는 HFC 네트웍 종단의 TCP over ABR 성능 분석에 관한 연구

        With increasing requirement for more bandwidth and high speed networks, the Asynchronous Transfer Mode(ATM) has become the main consideration of many academic and industrial entities. Also, Internet growth and the convergence of the television with the computer has led cable companies to develop methods of delivering broadband services to residential customers. Cable networks are based on modified LAN technologies and the Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) network, which accounts for the backbone of most modern cable systems. This is a study on the end-to-end Performance of TCP over ABR at the HFC network using an ATM backbone network. the ABR service has very complicated mechanism. ABR service mechanism constantly monitor network switch's load and feed this information back to the sources. the drawback of HFC network is that these networks are all based on media sharing. This only presents a problem when the network is under heavy use moreover, because of the inteference between TCP flow control and ABR flow control, Performance is decreased. In this environment, the 802.14 MAC protocol supports the ABR service of ATM. but MAC contention on the upstream interfere with the rate control mechanism of ABR. the simulation results show that the traffic of TCP over ABR depend on the sender's network and the returned RM cells' delay time. In order to increase the peformance of TCP, we need the more studies on the MAC contention mechanism.

        The purpose of this study is to grope for the new planning in directions of Apartment unit plan according to the preference of unit plan composition by apartment: user's. The conclusion of this study are as follows, 1. The result of user's evaluation about area scale and location on constituent element of unit plan, it generally shows up discontentment evalution at 「room 2, 3」 and 「kitchen & dinning room」. It is analized that the evaluation of bed room, as the role of complex space such as rest, study and play, and 「kitchen and dinning」 as the role of household affairs show up discontentment cause of environmental elements by lighting, ventilation etc. 2. The result of analysis about diverse conducts occur in usual life and its correspond with space, incase of 「master room」 is related to mainly as a role of sleeping space, but in case of 「living room」is shown up almost all behaviors, 'reception', 'play of children', 'conversation', 'household affairs' etc. That is 「master room」 took a role of social space in past, but now changed to be private space and 「living room」 become to take a center role of home life that are family circle, guest reception etc, 3. The result of call for about transformation of space(area scale and location), it is shown up hope for reduce area scale of 「master room」 instead of enlarge area of 「room2, 3」. It is analized hope for 「room2, 3」 is located in front better environment as at the same time enlarge area scale of 「room2, 3」 which is relatively defined area for western style furniture instead of replace with 「master room」 take possession about 20% of exclusive use of area. 4. The result of tendency of user's preference degree extracting 6 types of unit plan correspond with user's needs which is made up based on above-mentioned result, generally '①type' show up most high rate(32.5%) preference, while '④type'(24.6%), '⑥type'(18.9%) also to be analized showing up considerable preference. 5. The result of tendency of preference degree about plan type according to life cycle, there be shown up difference is existence about unit plan. Such tendency of preference existing unit plan show up do not sufficiently correspond with diverse family composition or variation of life style, therefore it may be thought have to existing new conversion grope about the direction in Apartment unit planning reflecting practical user's need. Through like the above research, the result of verify hypothesis that the difference is existence in preference degree about Apartment unit plan, it is shown up considerably diverse desire is existing. It must be enlarged range of choice by developing plan type because there are different of preferences according to family composition in the same 3LDK plan.

      • 코스닥기업에서의 회계정보의 유용성에 관한 연구

        Since its inception in 1998, a great attention has been paid to the valuation of the KOSDAQ stocks. The question is about whether value drivers are different between KOSDAQ and Exchange stocks. This study examines empirically how the KOSDAQ stocks are valued. I have employed 287 sampled firms listed on the KOSDAQ markets from the year of 1998 to 1999. For the purpose of comparison, I have divided the sample into two: the venture and the other general firms. The log-linear valuation model suggested by Hand(2000) has been adopted. Previous researchers such as Sougianis(1994) has claimed that R&D and advertising expenditures impact on accounting earnings and thus market values. Therefore, independent variables included in the model that drive values of the KOSDAQ firms are book values, current core earnings, R&D expenditures, and advertising expenses which are different from those of the Exchange stocks. The main empirical results are summarized as follows: First, book values have most significantly associated with the firm value. However, contrary to my expectation, current core earnings has not related to the value, which is inconsistent with the Exchange stocks. Second, for companies with positive current core earnings, I have found that R&D and advertising expenditures show a positive associations with the firm value while, for companies with negative earnings, those expenditures do not. And surprisingly book values are not relevant to valuing firms.
