董作賓(1895∼1963)은 甲骨文이 발견되기 4년전에 태어나 甲骨文과 함께 성장하였으며, 성년이 되어서는 甲骨文 硏究에 투신하였던바, 이를 硏究하는 학자중에서도 대표될만한 인물로, 그의 업적은 당시는 물론 지금에 까지 甲骨文 硏究의 기본자료에서 부터 보다 심층적인 硏究에 이르기까지 귀중한 자료로 쓰이고 있다. 本 論文에서는 甲骨文 硏究에 크게 공헌한 董作賓을 연구대상으로 삼아, 그의 일생을 통해서 점철된 끝없는 甲骨文의 연구에 대한 成果를 종합적으로 정리하며, 특히 중대업적중 《甲骨文斷代硏究例》와 《殷曆譜》를 중점적으로 살펴 보았다. 1928년 中央硏究院 歷史語言硏究所가 설립되어 그가 發掘團을 이끌고 제l차 殷墟發掘에 착수하면서 부터 본격적으로 甲骨文 硏究에 돌입, 그동안 甲骨卜辭가 어느 時期에 生産되었는지 파악해 내지못해 혼미속에 빠져있던 甲骨文 硏究에 《甲骨文斷代硏究例뼈》를 발표하여 모든 甲骨卜辭를 五個時期로 분류하므로써, 1920년대 침체상태에 빠져있던 甲骨文 硏究에 새로운 활력소가 되었다. 董作賓은 이에 머물지 않고 斷代硏究를 응용하여 더욱 심층적인 방법으로 甲骨文의 分期·分派를 연구했던 결과, 五個時期로 분류한 모든 甲骨卜辭에는 新·舊兩派의 차이점이 있음을 발견하고, 이에 근거하여 中國 3천년 이상의 古史年代를 추적하고자 10년의 노력을 기울여 《殷曆譜》를 탄생시켰다. Tong, Jak Pin (1895-1963) was one of the most famous scholars who studied shell-and-bone characters. He was born four years before the characters were discovered, grew up with them, and later devoted himself to the studies of them. His works were and have been considered the most precious data for basic and profound studies of shell-and-bone characters. This thesis comprehensively reviews Tong's life and works resulted from his incessant efforts to study the characters, focusing on periodical studies on shell-and-bone characters and documents on the old Chinese calendar. With the establishment of Historic Language Research Institute in Central Research Center in 1928, he started to excavate the old site of Yin in full scale, leading the first excavation team. He published Periodical Studies on shell-and-bone characters in which he classified pu tz'uˇ( 卜辭 ) of the characters by five periods. He provided a new incentive to the studies which had been in stalemate because nobody had found the exact period when the characters were invented. His efforts did not stop here. He continued to research sub-periods and subdivisions more profoundly, ending up with the results that each pu tz'uˇ( 卜辭 ) in the five periods had differences between the new and he old groups. Basing on the previous studies, he spent ten ears writing documents on the old Chinese calendar in order to race the periods of old Chinese history which were more than 3000 years old.

대출통계로 본 대학생의 독서경향에 관한 연구 : 1998-2002년까지 서울대학교 학생부의 대출 빈도를 중심으로

본 연구에서는 효율적인 대학생의 독서경향을 알아보고자 하였다. 그 방법으로는 서울대학교의 토털시스템인 SOLARS Ⅱ (SeOul Library Automation and Research System Ⅱ)의 대출시스템을 이용하여 1998년부터 2002년까지 5년간 대출 가능한 자료만을 대상으로 단행본 서고의 도서 중 매년 최다 대출 횟수를 기록한 순으로 200선을 선정하여 대학생들의 주제별 선호도를 다양하게 비교, 조사·분석하여 보았다. 서울대학교 학부생의 매년 최다 대출횟수로 선정된 도서들을 서울대 선정 교양필독서 동서고전 200선과 분석하여 공통으로 선정되는 도서와 문화관광부 추천도서 및 동아일보 선정 세계를 움직인 100선, 일반 베스트셀러와 비교, 조사·분석하여 대학생의 독서경향을 분석해 보았다. 그리하여 올바른 독서문화의 자리매김과 책을 읽을 수 있도록 사회, 교육 환경을 조성하는 일이야말로 어떤 인프라 구축보다도 시급히 이루어져야 하는 당위성과 나아가서는 출판학 분야에서 연구하는 출판 기획자들의 출판 기획의 방향을 제시하는 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있도록 하였다. 이 연구결과 서울대학교 전체 학부생들의 독서경향은 다음과 같이 분석되었다. 첫째, 주제별 선호도가 가장 높은 것으로는 문학분야에 대한 선호도가 최고였다. 조사·분석시 상위에 집계된 것으로는 '박경리의 토지', '조정래의 태백산맥, 아리랑', '이문열의 변경' 등으로 편중되어 있어 문학에 대한 올바른 이해와 독서지도의 필요성이 요구되었다. 둘째, 대출통계로 살펴본 독서내용이 전공도서, 학습활동, 연구를 위한 도서보다는 흥미위주의 일회성적인 만화 및 무협지에 대한 선호가 두드려졌다. 셋째, 베스트셀러 및 고전 교양도서의 반응은 낮았으며 사회과학과 철학에 대한 도서들은 증가추세였다. 넷째, 현상계를 연구하는 실용적 분야라 할 수 있는 자연과학 분야에 대한 선호도가 아주 낮아 학문의 불균형과 수준이 떨어지는 것은 아닌가 하는 우려가 예상되었다. 이상과 같이 연구·분석한 결과 문화, 정보, 지식의 바탕일 뿐만 아니라 국가 발전의 척도가 될 수 있는 독서지도의 필요성 및 중요성을 새삼 확인하고, 대학생활 시기의 독서는 사고와 창의적 능력 즉 판단을 위한 기본요소로 그 가치의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 그리하여 대학생의 독서는 전공교육면에서 뿐만 아니라 시민으로서의 교양면에서도 평생을 통하여 생활에 영향을 미치게 되는 것을 알 수 있었다. The Objective of this study was to find out efficient reading aptitude of university students. In order to achieve this objective, I selected 200 selections in the order of recording the maximum number of lending for each year among the books from separate volume library, taking only materials that could be lent out for five years from year 1998 to 2002 as the subjects, as SOLARS Ⅱ(SeOul Library Automation and Research System Ⅱ), the total system of SNU indicated, to compare, research and analyze preferences of university students by themes in different ways. Under the analysis of the books for culture and 200 selections of east-west classics that were selected by the entire undergraduate students of SNU with the maximum number of lending, I compared, examined and analyzed the books commonly selected, books recommended by Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Donga Daily 100 selections that moved the world and general best-sellers to analyze reading aptitude of university students. Then, I presented the reason why social and educational environment that has reading culture settled and facilitates reading shall be formed immediately than the establishment of any other infrastructure, and further tried to make it as basic data that provides publishing planners who have studied in the field of publishing studies with directions of publishing plans. As results of this study, the reading aptitude of the entire undergraduate students of SNU was analyzed as followings; First, literatures had the highest preference followed by other themes. As Land of Kyoung-Ri Park, The Taebaek Mountains, Arirang of Jeong-Rae Cho, Change of Moon-Yoel Lee ranked high from the research and analysis, proper understanding of literatures and reading instruction were required. Secondly, the preference of amusing cartoons for adults and heroism books was significant rather to the books for major, learning activities and studies, from the contents of reading that examined through the statistics of lending, rather to the books for major, learning activities and studies. Thirdly, reaction to the best-sellers and classic books for culture was low however that to the books for social science and philosophy was increasing. Fourthly, as the preference of the field of natural science study that is practical filed researching the phenomenal world was very low, I concerned if the balance and standard of studies would fall down. From the results of research and analysis as above, I understood again the necessity and importance of the reading instruction that could be a measure for the national development as well as the background of culture, information and knowledge. The value of reading on university life is emphasized as a basic factor for thinking and creative ability, or determination. Therefore, I could find out that reading of university students would influence throughout their lives in the cultural aspect for citizens, as well as on the aspect of major education.
